When this place opened less than a mile from my house I knew I had to try it. Before coming here I always had painful experiences getting my eyebrows threaded. But every experience here has been excellent, no skin pulling, no cuts, just quick and easy! I refuse to go anywhere else now! The owner, Daxa, is by far my favorite. I usually only let her do my eyebrows because she works with me to make sure they are exactly how I like them. I can be picky. But I'd give the other ladies a try too! OK. After I posted my previous review, the owner of Divine Threading Studio personally called me and apologized. He stated that the first sign of pain or uncomfort, she should have stopped. Also that I should not have been charged a penny. He mailed me a refund check and a voucher for another Brazilian wax at no cost. I was hesitant to give them a try again, but he recommended Daxa at their Tustin location (which is down the street from my house). Finally went in and my wax with Daxa was much much MUCH better. I really don't know what happened with Bina (Vina?) at their Anaheim Hills location by my work but.... probably won't be going back. Daxa, however, saved face for Divine in my books.. Honestly, I probably am going to back to my girl, Tina, by my work just because she has never failed me and she has a much more private/relaxing setting. Daxa has been doing my eyebrows since I was 12. For the past 10 years, I have not trusted to go to anyone else. I've been a loyal customer since no one else can do them perfectly as she does! I go to both this and the Tustin location when she is there. Both places are clean and have polite staff. They used to put aloe vera with a cotton ball for your eyebrows but now they use their hands to massage it in. A lot of people complain about that but I honestly prefer the hands! It feels good to have the aloe vera be massaged in, plus I never walk About with a red spots because of it! read more

I have scabs on my brows where she pinched my skin! Not to mention it was one of the most painful threading experiences I've ever had. I was glad that they were able to seat me right away with no wait, but the girl who did my brows was very short with me and not very nice. I love Divine! I found them because they put out a great groupon deal for eyebrow threading and bikini wax for $15. At my visit they set me up with an eyebrow threading punch card and a bunch of coupons (I have yet to use). I have been back once since then and again they delivered great (and friendly) service. Ripal has handled all my needs the two times I have been in, and she is very skilled with eyebrow threading and waxing (fast and thorough), and she is as gentle as a person can be given the circumstances of a bikini wax. All of the members of the staff that I have met are very friendly, but Ripal is my favorite. She has a great personality and sense of humor- my eyebrows looked so clean my boyfriend noticed! If you are looking for a good value, and really friendly professionals, Divine is definintely the place to go. I will be back in a month(ish). read more

SUPER DISAPPOINTED from yesterdays threading session. Very unskilled employee, she cut my skin up. I was greeted with scars under my brows from where she painfully threaded ONE hair at a time. I told the lady at the front desk how unhappy I was with my brows and she simply said "sorry" unfortunately, sorry does not fix my eyebrows. Absolutly the best! I have been coming here for about 3 years now. I never usually take the time to yelp a business, but today it was a must. I come on the weekdays normally and always get my eyebrows done by Nena. I came in today and did not see her, so i asked the front desk what time she would be in and she let me know Nena dosent work today. My cousin bought me a Groupon for a a bikini wax. but I didn't really wanna wax downtown, so I asked if I can apply the value to a facial and they said its okay. My cousin and I got to divine threading salon and it was what I expected - a threading salon. I went first, and their facial room was typical. The esthetician, Panu, instructed me to change into the towel and call her over when I was finished. She started the facial and transitioned into the most amazing face, shoulder and chest massage that I've ever had. Then she went into the facial stuff. They use all dermalogica products btw! After the eighth face massage, she asked me to roll over. I assumed 90 degrees so I laid on my side like a newb. She laughed and said "no, on your back so I can massage". I was pretty excited.. Facial and a back massage?!? Afterwards, she applied the face mask, and I assumed she was gna leave (like most places do) so the face mask can dry/I can meditate but she took the blanket off my feet and started a foot massage! Let me tell you, I'm not one for people touching my feetsies, but it was so awesome. I walked out of the facial room suuuuper relaxed. They have one massage chair in the waiting room and water and coffee are complimentary. They also have a student discount (15%off) and a Tuesday $6 eye brow special from 9to 3pm. read more

I used to come here religiously and never had a problem. I went today and I left with uneven and thinned our brows (when I specifically said I didn't want them to thin my brows). I got my upper lip done, but there are still lots of hairs left. I asked for her to fix part of my brow and my upper lip after she finished, which she "did" but there's still hair. I won't be coming back to Divine after this experience. read more

I love it! $8 for eyebrows and it is done very well every time! however i prefer Daxa because she does it more precisely than the other women. They also have complimentary water and coffee if you are ever thirsty while you're there :) If you use a student ID on eyebrows then it will cost you around $6.80 if I'm not mistaken. The wait is NOTHING, about 10 minutes max because I choose Daxa and she has many customers. it takes less than 3 minutes for her to do my eyebrows which is very convenient if you need to be somewhere but get a touch up. If you do upper lip it is $4 which is not bad either. I usually come every 2 weeks because my eyebrows like to grow fast :( read more

I've been coming here for years with my mom and sister and have recently been very disappointed in the skill of those who have threaded our eyebrows recently. Like the review left before me, I also left yesterday with cuts on my eyebrow, and the lady who did my brows pulled so slowly; it felt like she took each hair out ONE BY ONE and it hurt like hell. I'm willing to bet we got the same lady. My eyebrow is still in pain. I am only leaving two stars because the quality of work is very "hit or miss" and it all depends on who you get. I will not be returning unless Daxa is working because she is the best and has proven to be very good at what she does. I will not risk sitting in any other chair again. read more

I love coming here. I never have to wait when I come in because I never come at a busy time! You sign in and you sit in a comfy reclining seat. You help them hold your eyebrow and they are so quick! Not to mention through. Than they trim your eyebrows and tweeze the hard to reach ones. If you come to their "happy" hour on Tuesdays it's only 6$ which is awesome! I go here regularly for all of my threading and waxing needs and would highly recommend it to anyone. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I've never had a problem getting what I wanted and they will fix something for you if you're not happy (like a little extra plucking or redoing a waxed area to get stray hairs) just have to let them know. They also have good weekly deals as others have mentioned. One time I even got free henna art on my hand but I don't know how often that lady is there but it was really cool. The only inconvenient thing about this place is that you cannot put the tip on the card, which means I have gone to Wholesome choice next door (which is awesome too btw) to pull cash several times...so just bring enough money is all I'm sayin...because you will want to tip them for their excellent service. read more

This place was recommended by a friend .I came in at almost closing time .I asked them if it was too late (20 mins til closing ).The two ladies that were working said something in their language and laugh .The Cashier just said ok .It took the lady about a minute to do my brows .She left hairs and didnt bother with the sides or fore head . These women are not trained at all. Every time I go, there are different women working. I went today, and the woman doing my eyebrows took off so much hair that there is a space in the middle of my right eyebrow. She refused to see her mistake, and insisted that there was nothing wrong. when i called the manager to complain, he said that this woman - Rosie - wasn't even hired, but was on trial. What kind of company preforms trials on their customers? I am extremely disappointed in their customer service and it is simply unacceptable to do this to a loyal customer. I frequent both the Anaheim Hills and the Tustin location. I've been coming about every 3 weeks for 3 years and I'm ALWAYS happy with the results of my brows. I used to overpay for waxing: $25 every 3-4 weeks vs. the $6-8 I pay here...depending on if I remember my coupon or not :) Yes, they have coupons so check your local coupon book that comes in the mail! They also have stamp cards and you get a free threading after filling it up. The ladies that do my brows are so nice and welcoming. They make threading an enjoyable experience. read more
