I ended The bad: It's $8 per nail for an embellishment so it can get pretty pricey. It makes sense with how much meticulous care goes into each nail and how each fleck of gold and glitter was placed. This little gem is located inside a hair salon, but is completely independent. The room is clean and neat, the lights are dimmed and soft music is playing in the background drowning the noise of the outside world. Marina begins the facial with a short consultation, inquiring politely about YOUR skin needs, YOUR preferences, YOUR allergies, etc--it's all about YOU, the customer. She explains what will be done and what to expect and the service begins. She is not chatty (unless you prefer that), she is not pushy and she will not sell you any products, unless of course you ask for it. She might make a recommendation based on your skin, but her main bread and butter is the amazing and professional service she provides. It's the best European facial by far--extractions included (and so is the light shoulder, arm and hand massage, while you relax under a mask). And it's not just your face that gets pampered...as she massages your hands with a homemade concoction of oils and lotions, she slips hand warmers on for 10-15 minutes and your hands feel like butter! The prices are rockbottom and this is the ONLY place where the customer gets way more than she/he paid for!!! She's always super friendly and actually remembers me, which I really appreciate. I get my eyebrows and upper lip done for $14. They have a board with all the prices clearly displayed, which is nice and straightforward. It's affordable and the results are consistently good. The place is almost always busy, which makes sense because they do solid threading plus facials and waxing too. You'll see moms with their daughters, couples getting services, and people chatting with Fami like they've known her for years. It has a really nice, friendly family vibe. Quick tip: they're closed on Mondays. I didn't realize that one time and "cheated" on Fami by going somewhere else. That place left my brows way too thin and short, not how I like them at all.
