If you want to go bowling, Dixie Bowl will do just fine for you. At first, I wasn't too sure about the people being arrested by cops on the parking lot, but I decided to go in anyways and give it a try. The interior was nice and clean and the woman at the desk was extremely helpful. At $2.50 a game, it isn't too pricey. It wasn't crowded at all for a Saturday night and you can get that nostalgic feeling you got as a little kid when you'd go bowling. The only bad part was that they put us on lane 19 and it was acting up, so we had to keep stopping the game to get someone to fix the lane for us. Honestly I looked at the reviews and I saw quite a few that weren't what I think correct. First off there was no smell, of course you could tell the business is definitely family owned but everyone is so kind, patient and service oriented. We had our sons first birthday party here, I made the reservation's online and you out the name and shoe size and everything transfers over to the lane when it's time to bowl. I paid approx $110 our reservation which included pizzas, drinks, table, 2 lanes with 2 hours AND shoes! It was super spacious, and I loved the game room lol it was small but there were a lot of good games. I can't say enough everyone was so sweet and eager to help! We also ordered chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks (which were delicious) and onion rings. Everything was fresh and had no issues at all! Thank you Dixie Bowl!! This place is a bowling alley a place for families to go and have fun and I went there and walked right back out me and my family were smacked in the face with the smell of weed and there were some ghetto people there that were totally out of it and were saying some racially insensitive things and I feel so bad for the people working there that have to deal with that and try and maintain a safe environment I'm not writing this because of the employees Im just saying that we didn't know what they were going to do because it was so sketchy so as long as people like that are going to bowl there its not safe read more

Lanes are clean, staff helpful and even courteous. Bar was open with no waiting and food to order..

They have always been nice easy and reasonably priced. We loved New Years last year at Dixie Bowl and plan to do it again this year. Great fun for all ages. read more

I love to bowl! And I love to take my kiddos and my momma. So living on the south end this is super convenient. The lanes are good and the computers work well, but the facility could use an investment. Like other alleys it has that bowing alley feel. But the ceilings have the drop ceiling tiles and they are covered with old water stains. I have fun when I am there, I would just like to see them update things a bit. It's looked like this since I was a kiddo. We still go because it's convenient, and after all we are there to Bowl. :) read more

Leagues came in during our paid hourly time and that was the end of a mediocre at best experience. Sticky floors, pins and balls constantly stuck, unresponsive staff. Save your money and do something else or go to a better lane. read more

Went into bowl and hour after they opened. We stood there waited for 15 minutes, while 2 male staff members didn't acknowledge us. We did kindly ask if they were open for bowling and from his desk behind the counter in his office he rudely answered "give me a minute" and then mumbled under his breath. While walking out deciding not to spend our money there (obviously they did not need it) we passed another lady employee who was smoking. Maybe should not open business if you cannot service the client. And obviously customers are not their priority. read more

I was there for a child's birthday party, and I will probably never return. There was an elderly lady working the counter, and she was extremely rude. There was no customer service whatsoever. I understand it's a bowling alley, but we were the only ones there & no one came to take drink orders or food orders. I'm not sure if they were supposed to, but usually if a party is being held at a venue, there is some sort of effort to accommodate the party. We requested the little ramp things for the small kids in the group & we were rudely told that we couldn't have them because we were not special needs & they were only for people with special needs. I've never heard of such a thing & it sounded to me like the lady just didn't want to deal with it. Then the lanes kept freezing up & an employee had to keep coming by to fix them. In the middle of one of our games, the lane shut down and said game over. When I told the old lady, she helped about 4 people in line at the front before she finally turned the lane back in so we could finish and the kids just sat there waiting. Then when everyone went to leave, there was a guy passed out in his car. A guy from our group went to check on him & it turns out he was on meth, woke up and drive his car into their van! The bowling alley did nothing to assist or make sure everyone was okay afterwards. Cops were called & the guy had been shooting up in the parking lot... In other words, perhaps not the best area to have a children's party!!! read more
