We recently stopped by for lunch on our way back to the city. Being fans of Phoenicia Diner, we were excited to try their sister restaurant. It was a Monday, so it wasn't very busy. The space is nicely designed, modern and spacious with a large outdoor area and a bar inside. I had the O-Ren salad with crispy chicken, my partner had the Smoked Brisket, and we shared a side of mac n cheese. The servings were very generous. Everything was delicious! I particularly enjoyed the salad, which was fresh and very filling. Service was friendly and attentive at all times. I would certainly come back!

First time at Dixons. Was craving some BBQ and with some rave reviews online, I can see this place being absolutely packed on a nice summer evening. Not sure if I really got the fully scope and potential of this restaurant. I opted for the brisket, slaw and cornbread as a side, also got the pork sandwich with collard greens. Maybe I'm not a BBQ consiour but I've never seen brisket like this before. Was a wet, little to no flavoring and no signs of the tell tale smoke ring or tender meat. Portion was a little on the light side for the price. The slaw was good and the cornbread bite was tasty. The pork sandwich was definitely the move. Seems like the majority of sandwiches are. Need to swing back to give the chicken sandwich a try. Little disappointed, but will have to try again.

So disappointing that this place has closed...I was here in April of 2023 and the food was delicious. It is right off of a main thorough-fare in Woodstock, surrounded by trees with tall garage-door windows along the front exterior. The banister around the circumference of the restaurant is lined with pretty-white lights. We went here before a concert and it was the perfect meal. I ordered the macaroni and cheese with a side salad, my boyfriend ordered a cheeseburger with fries and we split the buffalo chicken wings topped with blue cheese. We were starving after hiking and sight-seeing all day and this was the perfect meal to end the excursion. Friendly waitstaff and great selection of beer. Please see the pictures below!

Bookmarked as my Catskill go to especially when I needed something yummy and quick but not fast food. This place is a gem. I have gone to Woodstock so many times, it is hard to find a place to eat without making a fuss about parking, reservation, it's a Monday night nothing's open, or the wait is too long. Dixon Roadside is by my side. Many options, vegetarian, fish, meat, and vegan (?? Please check menu for it but I would be surprised that they don't) funky draft beers or not, they have desserts too. The rainbow trout burger was delicious especially the wasabi mayo that gave it a real nice kick. The steak fries is a killer too. The Dixon burger has lovely fried onions inside. And the patty was nicely done. It's a quality burger for sure! They have outdoor seating too but in the winter it's a bit too cold but imagine sitting out there for a beer? We'll be back soon.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch at Dixon Roadside on the way in to Woodstock, NY. Oyster Mushroom and Kimchi Bánh mì were fantastic on the patio, as was Mac & Cheese with Cornbread and Biscuits (our son's selection). Really awesome food that has a plethora of vegetarian options. Items are incredibly interesting. We've stopped here before and it did not disappoint. Of course, being Woodstock, it is very dog friendly. We return whenever we are in the area.

Got attracted from other pictures. Visited here on Monday at 3pm. Burger is huge and super delicious. Service was awesome. Mac and cheese was amazing. Burger is so juice. The best burger in town! Must visit!

What a cute local place! Thanks to other Yelpers' reviews, my group of 4 found this place while exploring the area. Loved the deco and vibe of the place. **In a rush? Skip to the end for my tips.** There is outdoor and indoor dining. I saw a lot of people with their dogs in the outdoor dining area. It was a bit cold to eat outside the day I went, but during the warmer weather, I bet it would be awesome to eat in the outdoor area. There was so much to choose from! Here is what we ordered. bbq'd beef brisket - It was okay. Not amazing. grilled market fish - I think it was trout that day and it was delicious! Dixon burger - This was also delicious! side of brussel sprouts - Amazingly delicious! side of roasted baby carrots - Good! side of cornbread - Amazing! It's definitely a cute pitstop to grab food! Tips: -When you come in, there are menus by the entrance for you to review and then you order at the counter. Then, they give you a number and you wait at a table. And, someone will bring your food to you.

Update: went with a large party of 11 people and everything was excellent. Service was great and timely, and food was delicious. Huge shout out to Nick who made us feel extra special. Last visit must have been an off night. Btw I had the fried chicken sandwich - excellent!!

Pros: - ample indoor and outdoor seating, with lots of heaters - everyone who works there wears masks Cons: - 40 minute wait time for food despite ordering only 3 items :( - food lacked sauce and seasoning - our table and another table next to us agreed - except for the 2 adults at the bar and the cashier (who were nice), everyone else was a teenage server. Our teenage server had 0 interest in checking in on our order or refilling our water. After the 40 minutes of waiting, only with the intervention of the adult did we finally get our order WHAT TO GET: - chopped brisket sandwich. If you still think it's a bit bland, ask the cashier for more sauce on the side. I thought this was 4 stars but my partner though it was worse - dessert: get the pineapple tres leches shortcake WHAT TO SKIP - please do NOT get the pulled pork sandwich. It lacked any seasoning or sauce :(

First time trying it. So glad I did. So close to our house. I had the meatloaf sandwich. It was Amazing. Great choice of craft beers. I look forward to coming back in the summer when the outside deck is open

This was great in some respects -- we really loved the fried chicken, brussels, and beans especially. The brisket was good but I'd probably skip it next time in favor of the chicken, and my wife actually wasn't crazy about the mashed potatoes. The mac & cheese, biscuits, cornbread, fries, and pulled pork were all very good as well.

We stopped at Dixon to enjoy outdoor dining on their beautiful patio with our dog. This restaurant is so cute and fun!! The food was all around pretty good- the steak fries were a favorite by far! Some of the meats needed better seasoning, especially the pulled pork. The brisket sandwich was massive!! We also enjoyed their cocktails and nice selection of draft and canned beers.

We chose SILVIA because the menu is vegetable forward and as a vegetarian there were several dishes I had to try. Both my omni partner and I loved the mushroom lentil pâté, stuffed artichokes, and smoked beets we had for appetizers. The pâté is rich and flavorful and the pickled veggies it's served with are so good we only wished the dish came with more of them. The artichokes were perfectly tender and are stuffed with raclette and ramp (YUM), and the lemon breadcrumbs they're topped with pair so well with the cheese, and add a lovely brightness and zing. The smoked beets were also perfectly tender with a deep rich smokey flavor, and the chimichurri they come with does a nice job to add brightness (There's a theme here of rich flavors paired with brightness to make your palette pop). For an entrée we opted to share the local mushroom & pasta rags dish. the pasta rags were cooked nicely, soft but still toothy, and the mushrooms, black garlic butter, and thyme added a rich deep flavor. I was obsessed with the amount of parmigiano reggiano the pasta was topped with -- I could've eaten plate after plate of this dish. Their cocktail menu seems to be just as well thought out as their food with some unique offerings. I tried and enjoyed both Mezcal options. Service was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive. TL;DR: beautiful space, absolutely delicious food, plenty of vegetarian options, fun cocktails, great service. Go here.

But somewhere in the last few months, the kitchen's lost its touch. I had to send it back just to get it warmed. Then came their famous chocolate ganache balls we love with strawberry coulis. Except now, the scoops are deformed with zero coulis and replaced with caramel instead. Why change something that worked so well? Hubs and I thought maybe it was just an off night. I went with the tavern steak sandwich ($22). The fries were the steak kind but not too fat and wedge-y. There was a totally reasonable amount of Muenster and steak, and I found that the sandwich didn't really need the accompanying steak sauce. The mac & cheese ($14) was a delightful appetizer made with a whopping five different cheeses! Last Chance mentions both antiques and cheese in its name so we had to investigate both. Instead of a separate shop, the antiques are all around the restaurant, and our server said some are for sale and some belong to the owner's private collection but he seems possibly open to offers. The cheese and gifts are in an area on the other side of the bar, with the cheese behind a counter. I thought the cheese collection would be larger and have more NY options, but it was still a solid selection. If you plan on purchasing any candy or other treats after your meal, just let your server know so you can take your bill over there.

Walking in we were seated promptly though we immediately noticed that the interior was extremely dark. Not a big deal but worth flagging for older folks who might have a hard time reading. Our server was friendly and relatively attentive and walked us through the menu. We started off with some classics including their bread and butter (which was tasty and delicious) and ordered their P.E.I Mussels ($19) along with their Fried Brussels Sprouts ($15) to share. The portions were quite large for everything (great if you're in a larger party) but we immediately noticed that the mussels they served seemed a bit off. Many of them were not opened all the way (a sign that they might not be the freshest or recently passed) and had a bit of a fishy taste to them. We ended up not finishing them and flagged them to our waiter. The other items, including the 14oz Ribeye ($43) and baby back ribs ($28) were better, though a bit one-note. The bay back ribs in particular were extremely saucy and the corn bread was dry and a bit tough to eat. I had to use a knife to split it apart as it kept crumbling every time I used a fork. Regardless, it seems like a popular spot for a reason and perhaps we just went during more of an off-night. I'd still recommend checking it out but avoiding the mussels if you go.
