The meatballs alone would make me drive across 3 states. First day we went on vacation the person waiting on us was top notice, super friendly and helpful as we had never been here. We decided to go back to get the amazing meatballs to take back home with us (they have a little store attached which they sell them and other items.. a bit pricey but worth it!) We also ordered take out of the meatballs again. Trust me when I say they are delicious but the one thing that was a downer is the woman at the counter taking our order was not friendly at all. She was focused on the guy working and her phone more than helping customers. But even with poor service that day. I would still return. Hoping she was just not her usual self that day as I can't imagine she would still be employed if that was her everyday attitude.

Strolling along the street that is downtown Woodstock, initially the delicious smells wafting out of this restaurant drew me close. Walking into the joint, it was bustling at around 2pm on a Saturday, plenty of people ordering in or to go. Next time I'm in town would def want to try the meatballs here. Although I didn't eat in this time, the variety of local beers in the fridge and on the shelves piqued my interest. I grabbed a couple and brought it up to the front to pay. The cashier mentioned they were $8.50 each or 4 for $23.50(?), so I thought why not pick up a couple more. However considering this was one of the first spots I stopped by, I didn't want to carry them around so I told him I'd be back. An hour or so later I dropped by and the same cashier was restocking the fridge and remembered me right away, even picking out from the fridge for me the beers I'd brought up earlier to the register. A small gesture but super thoughtful and helpful! I was able to check out quickly and take my beers to go. So far I've tried the Arrowood Farm Brewery Black Sheep Brown Ale and the Catskills Brewery Ball Lightning and enjoyed them both!

Pretty small shop on Main Street but packed with outstanding flavors! They specialize in meatball dishes. They offer 3 kinds: beef and pork blend, turkey, and vegan. All are prepared in a totally awesome marinara sauce. I had a few of the beef pork blend - the best meatballs I have ever eaten. My wife had a meatball slider which consisted of meatball, cheese, and pickles. We will go back to this shop many times. They are the meatball masters! Menu photos are attached.

Damn, this place is a 12 out of 10. Craft beer and 3 types of meatballs over veggies. Yum!!

Some of the best food I've ever had. The meatballs are out of this world. Excellent selection of craft beer. Service is excellent and the food comes out quickly. On top of this, the owner is incredibly kind and clearly cares about his customers and product.

Cute little spot. We came in on a slow day and the service was awesome. They have an extensive craft beer selection. The meatballs are damn good! All the ingredients seemed very fresh. Including the pickled jalapenos on the sliders I tried. I'd probably go with takeout on a busy night. Worth a stop.

Wow. So glad we stopped here for our lunch as we passed through the iconic hippy town. The meatballs are so tasty. We got the open face meatball sandwich which comes with provolone cheese and marinara. We got a side of the Shark bites with Turkey meatballs. The food was hot, fresh and made with love. Shark bites are a specialty of theirs and it's a meatball wrapped in a biscuit and baked and served with a hot (temp & spicy) honey for dipping. The server was on point and after listen to us groan about not having any non-alcoholic brews when they have a 3 page menu of local craft beer then directed us to some non-alcoholic options (peach tea and lemonade that we combined.) The server also made a great recovery by comping our Shark bites when we bit into one of them and it had raw dough. She also had them make another one for us. The place is tiny so takeout is a great option. Will come again if we are ever in Woodstock again.

It was a Thursday so maybe things weren't as busy as normal but we showed up a little early and the back biergarten was open so we got some drinks as it was a nice spring afternoon. The Venue itself reminded me a bit of the nearby Levon Helm studios in that it's an open space with a balcony overlooking everything and seating and standing room on the base floor. One thing I loved about this show is the sound was great. We sat stage left but the PA was subtly piping the DJ and guitar parts from stage right. It wasn't a huge crowd but people were having a good time with some standing room in front of the bar dancing etc. The bartenders were super attentive and responsive during the performance. I have been to Bearsville, Levon Helm and now Colony and I really feel lucky to have such intimate performance spaces somewhat locally. All of the staff were super friendly. Will be back for sure!

That smoky wood fireplace smell We started with drinks, the guys ordered IPAs on tap...I went for the hot cider with a dash of bourbon. I found it light on the booze but I find that true most places. For an app, we shared a slice of toast topped with burrata. The thing was bigger than I thought. It was good. We decided to all order one of the specials, the short rib dinner with polenta and broccolini. Good Lord was it good. Huge short rib, delicious and tender, with a yummy Malbec Demi-glaze that was delicious. The rib sits on a big portion of polenta --seriously the best I've ever eaten. The broccolini was nice. I can see why they were running out of that dish for the night. Hubby ordered a mousse dessert that he enjoyed. I was too full to eat anymore. Our waiter was amazing with great recommendations and friendly as anything. I definitely recommend!!!!

We also had wonderful service from several staff members throughout our meal, so well taken care of. We started with the House-Made Pierogi, the onions are cooked down in butter and sage, the brown butter hits with richness, cool sour cream, then the pierogi melt in your mouth. The texture of the pierogi itself, is tender and pillowy, so the experience isn't just rich flavor, the experience is the texture as well. I had the roast chicken, which comes with whipped potatoes and carrots. A simple dish, packed with incredible flavor. The meat was moist and tender, the skin crisp, the cook spot on. The potatoes, might be Idaho, because the potatoe flavor really comes forward towards mid-bite. The buttery carrots are paired nicely with mint flavor. The sauce is Porcini-Tarragon cream, a very nice choice, really compliments the meal. I was impressed, and I think it speaks volumes to take a simple dish, impart it with rich flavor, technique, and to elevate it. My husband had the lobster spaghetti, but he's currently unavailable for my review. The ambiance is dimly lit, dark colors- rich like their flavors, some brick, and the volume lively. We sat by a window, which was nice at 730 for end of summer twilight. Next visit we'll make our reservation for the patio, which would have been lovely at that time, but we booked short notice- and felt very fortunate to get a table for such a phenomenal restaurant. I keep thinking back, and I'm pretty blown away. It couldn't have been any more perfect. We had an event prior, at Opus 40, Red Onion was the cherry on top! It was my birthday :)

Only the oshinko maki was good. The most tenured sushi chef was passionate about the product. No one else in the kitchen was doing much to help him, considering how many cuts he had to rescue.
