Never a bad cut, always punctual and I know the quality service I receive every time I come. She is meticulous and you can see that in her work. Several times a year, I have important events to attend from work trips to weddings and who doesn't love a fresh cut? Once I grew my hair back out, I started trying local barbershops, but none really stood out. Then I found Warhair in Burbank. I called first, and Rod was really helpful. He recommended Rudy, who he mentioned was newer to the shop but very experienced, with great availability throughout the week. I decided to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did. The shop itself has a great vibe -- very modern and clean, but still offers old-school barbershop touches like hot towel and straight razor services. What really impressed me, though, was Rudy's attention to detail. He actually looked at my head shape and explained that leaving the back a little longer would help balance out my flat head. No barber had ever pointed that out or given me that kind of thoughtful advice before. On another visit, I mentioned I was thinking about growing the top out and slicking it back. Rudy explained that going a different direction would make my hair look fuller, then took the time to style it so we could actually see what looked best. That level of care and honesty is hard to find. I've gone back 4 times now, and I can honestly say I found my barber. Highly recommend Warhair, Rod, and especially Rudy.

First time here, parked on a side street but peeped a driveway that may possibly lead to their own in parking lot out back. Forgot to ask. But plenty of street parking on the side streets or out front (hour parking). Cool looking shop. You immediately enter into a small coffee shop. The monthly specials looked enticing. Might have to book an earlier appt next time to indulge in that. Showed up to my appt a few minutes early and was helped right away by barber Damaris. Great first experience. Never rushed and she worked methodically. The bald shave was sensational with the balms and creams. My sensitive skin didn't act up. Next was the beard trim, also a first for me since I usually trim it myself. The fade on the sideburns to rest is buttery smooth and even on both sides. Will be considering this service every few months or so. It's nice to be pampered. Oh yeah, the massage was solid after a long day of work. I did enjoy the decor. And the playlist today was on point. Her response was a bit matter-of-fact -- not especially engaging -- but I appreciated having a clear number to plan around. Based on that, I gave my son $45 plus a 15% tip in cash to bring with him. When he went in, however, the haircut ended up being $50. Since he only had $52 with him, the tip ended up being much smaller than intended. I felt bad about that, because we always want to make sure the barber is tipped fairly -- and the cut itself was very well done. Overall, we were happy with the quality of the haircut and the skill of the barber. The only frustration was the difference between the quoted price and the in-person charge. A little more consistency and friendliness on the front end would make an already good experience truly excellent.
