If you're looking for a men's barbershop with an edge, look no further. Brandon is the guy. I was going to the same shop for six years and relocated from West Hollywood over to the valley. I've had trouble finding a barber shop that feels right for me. Got an excellent haircut today in shop that feels like home. Very satisfied.

So a good friend of mine recommended this barber shop. Her son has been going to Brandon since elementary school (he's in college now). Well I went today and she was right. Brandon is an amazing barber. My son is 4 years and he's an absolute terror...can't sit still and won't shut up. Brandon seemed unfazed by this. I asked him for a haircut that, "won't piss off my husband." Brandon knew exactly what I wanted, . Thank you Brandon! We have found our new barber. The shop is pretty dope. There's one chair. Yes that's right, one chair. So everyone gets a cut by the master himself. I like this. The shop is clean and well put together. There's even a little table with some liquor and shot glasses. I'm pretty sure this is for people with kids. Lol jk. There was plenty of street parking, (not sure if there's parking in the back). This new barbershop is an embodiment of the personality of master barber Brandon aka B-dogg. Aesthetic: There's a vibe here reminiscent of a vintage bar where you'll find; old-school rock playing, a table rocking different whiskey bottles (perfect for spicing up your basic-as* gram) and a laid back feel as if you're hanging with a homie. If you have to wait, time flies. The cut: When I moved to LA a few years back, I had trouble finding a barbershop that didn't leave my hair looking like the Texas chainsaw massacre. Luckily I cruised into Brandon's old shop one day (which changed ownership unfortunately), and over time quickly realized why he always had a line of at least three people waiting. You give him a picture of what you want, a description or even an idea, and he'll do his best to find what you're looking for and hook it up with the freshest trim. This is the best $25 haircut in LA, and I followed this dude over from Burbank Barbershop. I can't recommend this shop any higher. Brandon is THEE GUY to go to. This dude....he uses his sheers as a painter uses his brush. It's next level y'all. And his attention to detail is insane. Known him for a few years now and I've never once been disappointed. I got recommended to him by a buddy of mine and since my first cut we have hit it off. He only books by appointment so be sure to jump in to reserva and think at least a week out because he is usually booked out that far in advance. But seriously...you won't be disappointed at all. And he is just a great person. Loves to chat about his family, kids (the shopped is actually named for his daughter, Penny and his son, Julian), the world, sports, scotch and whiskey you name it. A real down to earth guy and a dope dad (goals right there). Couple his great energy with the shop itself and what you get is a real old school neighborhood barbershop feel. Like you could sit there for hours and chat about your worries, the day, get advice if you want and just shoot the shit with Brandon. Deep blue paint on the walls coupled with the outdoorsy/nature feel of darker stained and reclaimed wooden furniture and mirrors as well as some antique artifacts on the walls and it's a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere. He also has an awesome array of scotches and whiskeys sitting out that add to the ambiance. Think tobacco and vanilla beard oil for your beard mixed with a hint of Sandalwood in the air. Taking however long is necessary, Brandon finishes off each cut with a great straight razor cleanup on the edges and some great clove smelling aftershave to prep you for the day. Found this barbershop on a whim, trying to find a last minute haircut. Brandon was awesome. Super nice, friendly, and what you expect from a barber. As for the place itself, it is relatively small, with one seat, but this made the experience feel special, as if this place was catering just to you. Definitely call ahead or make an appointment to make sure the line's not too long. I called and there was no line. Hair cut is super cheap ($25) compared to the quality hair cut you are getting. Brandon is great and my girlfriend said this is her favorite haircut so far (I've been to several barbers in the last few years, where I paid much more). Sometimes it's the simple things in life. Some may say it's just a haircut. But the simplicity of it all makes it all the much more special to me. From the oversized comic book covers to the bar cart with good whiskey in the corner, the little touches are icing on the cake for Brandon's little oasis. Having been a client of Brandon's for the last few years, being able to walk into his very own shop today was like coming home after a long day and kicking off your shoes and pouring the perfect old fashioned. Even though there is only one chair in the shop for those few minutes you sit in it you have the attention of someone who cares about their work and works to ultimately please you. I have been very picky about who cuts my hair. I had been going to a guy named D***n for a long long time. he was at syndicate barbershop in lbc then he moved to the proper and I would go there even referring friends to him.Eventually he moved to chino and that was way to far to drive for a cut. My friend had gone to a location in Burbank called Burbank barbershop and told me a guy named Brandon cut their hair. I went to the shop asked for Brandon and got the cut. I liked it so much that I began to go once a month. and eventually Brandon opened his own shop and I can safely say there is no one I would rather cut my hair.
