Tonight my family and i went to dizzy castle for an event , it was a lot of fun! Every one was super nice. The HUGE castle was a blast for the teens and adults, my 16 month old son had a blast in the toddler zone as well. Dizzy Castle is awesome! Took my 2 year old for the first time today and we had such a blast. We're from Portland, but Dizzy Castle was easy to find and a quick drive. Lots of parking and big easy to spot signage. The whole place is really clean and well lit. Lots of seating, super cool tables, and well laid out play spaces. My kiddo enjoyed the toddler area and the castle play area, although there were a few spots in the big castle that she couldn't navigate on her own. She'll grow into it soon enough, and for now I was happy to follow her through the play structure and help. She had a great time on all the slides (and I did too) and even the bigger kids zooming around didn't phase her, the structure is roomy enough and she was just so excited. We sat down and had food, which was fast and really tasty. The vegan menu was really exciting for us since most other play spaces have very little we can eat. I was thankful for the coffee menu since I don't have the boundless energy of a 2 year old. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked, and there was at least one hand sanitizer pump mounted on the wall in the cafe. There were also quite a few friendly and vocal staff members throughout the play area reminding kids to go feet first down the slide and to watch out for the smaller children. I appreciated not having to be the parent always saying "please don't step on my kid!" to everyone else's kids. We had a free pass this time that we received at an event, but I don't really have a problem with the prices like some other reviewers. I'll be buying a pass next time we go - and we will definitely be going back. Paying $5 for now while my kid is little is great, and when she is big enough to run around without my help the $10 will be well worth the couple hours of quiet time for me. For all of the amenities Dizzy Castle offers (well staffed, free diapers and wipes, free wifi, lots of seating and a huge play space) I think the prices are pretty reasonable. I only have one very minor suggestion - a big clock hanging over the front doors would be great, I lost track of time and we stayed a little too long and my daughter got way overtired, which made for a difficult nap. Been here twice now and had a good time. The play structure is fun, though I think some places have larger ones. They don't let you bring your own food (unless you have a food allergy) and food is a bit overpriced for what you get. We may be back, but it probably won't be for a while or until we visit some other play places. However, it's worth trying out. read more

Coming to Vancouver from a small town recently, I am so amazed at the things to do in Vancouver with children. My kids had the best time here. They range in age from 2-8. We even had lunch here, and it was so delicious. I never once had to worry about my kids and if they were safe. Friendly staff and a great price. It must be a fun place to work too, everyone is super helpful and in great moods for the kids. We will be back, maybe even once a month. read more

Great place for the kiddos on a rainy day. Definitely a little run down and not as clean as its cross town competitor, however the toddler area here has more to offer. HOWEVER, almost every time we have come here, there are wild older kids terrorizing the toddler area where my 13 month old is supposed to be able to safely play. More than once she's been pushed, kicked, and knocked down, with me right next to her, when the big kids come tearing through and their parents nowhere to be found. Unless their inattentive teenage front desk person gets off her phone and monitors such issues, we won't be returning. read more

I used to bring my oldest son here so many times when he was younger and we lived in vancouver. Last night I ended up driving all the way up there from Hillsboro for both my boys to have fun couldn't even play for 5-10 mins their "rules" were not being enforced when we were inside there were kids running up the slide had kids climbing over us while were sitting waiting to go down the slide (for the kids holding up the slide to move). Had a girl that was walking behind my youngest literally just pushed him out of her way and hit his head seriously a 4 or 5 year old did that to my one year old. I had another girl completely push her way threw the tunnel as I had asked for her to wait while my youngest was trying to crawl threw completely walked all over him now he has more then one bruse from that girl walking over him I am very livid that is not okay. This was the first time in almost 3 years I have been here and it will be my last I will not recommend this place for anyone unless they want their kids to be hurt and treated like crap from other kids cause their parents don't know how to keep an eye on them or the staff watching the play area. read more

This place is great. When our grandson comes to visit, we take him here and he can play and have fun by himself. I see kids who have siblings and friends to play with and that looks like even more fun. The staff is great. We like to eat lunch while we're there - the food is surprisingly good, and very reasonable. I love that we can sit and chat and the kids just play and play. read more

My daughter had her fifth birthday party at Dizzy Castle. She and her friends had a fun time! Our hostess was great! We didn't have to worry about anything, she even offered to write a gift list for me so that I could send out thank you cards. The food was delicious, unlike some other kid party places. Love this place for my almost 1 year old! She has a blast with mommy and daddy! Although I can say I don't like that anyone can walk out with any child unlike Chuck E. Cheese there is a number stamp and you have to walk out with your matching adult number. So last 2-3 times we've been here the staff did a great job of keeping the big kids out of the toddler zone! And when my coffee tasted a bit bitter they were so quick to redo it (I would of happily just added more cream, I don't like to make a big fuss). We seriously love it here! Ok let's start out by saying we called to reserve a spot for a birthday party, we were told that it would be up to 195.00 we put a deposit down and when we entered it was packed we could barely get to our room , they blew the dizzy up in front of the kids guided him to our room and had to guide him to the birthday boys so he could hand them there cheesy dollar tree gift, he didn't even stay for puctures, we were also told we were the last party so we could stay a little later, at 10 min to 8 the started shutting lights off and everyone was frantic to gather their things and get out, when we proceeded to leave we were charged over 200$ for 1.5 hours of nothing good , we will NEVER attend here again nor will we recommend to any one we know. So 200$+ only paid to get in and have a small party room. Lame . read more

Probably the last time i will go here. I have a two year old and a 7 month old baby that love this place. The last two times i have taken my children there has been older kids in the "baby/toddler" play area. The older kids have no parents that were watching them. The rule is 3 years and younger in this area. No one, not even employees pay attention to this rule. My baby the 7 month old is just learning to walk. Everytime i set her down the older kids would come to that area and start rough playing. I put her in the back of a boat for her to play with a stuffed block. I thought this would be a good chance for her to move around without the older kids. The two older boys dived head first into the back of the play boat and smashed her up against a wall. I then got my stuff and took my crying baby home. The mother sat on the couch with her head phones in not caring. I called to complain and explained to the employee that i had to leave because my children could not play because of the older boys in the baby area. She acted like it was not her problem and never offered me a credit to come back. Its not about the money but i believe i should have been offered a chance to come back for free and get what i paid for today. I am not the type of person to ask for that but she should have offered it to me because i only stayed there for 15 min. And paid for me, my kids and my friend and my friends baby to be there. What a waste of a drive and time. This is the second time my kids have been bullyed by older kids in the baby play area. I suggest employees need to pay more attention to the rule of kids being 3 years and younger or you are going to lose more paying customers like me. read more

In addition to having a 2 1/2yo boy who loves to climb and jump on everything, I also have a 12yo sister who comes to visit me often. DC is a place that I can take both kids and know they will have a good time. Surprisingly the food is pretty good! I appreciate that they have free Wifi available and that they even loan out tablets for use by the adults while the children run around. The Wifi makes my visits to DC productive when I need to work remote but don't want the kids just sitting home complaining about being bored. When not working, I'm able to have a great time with the kids in a play structure that doesn't require me to scrunch or others contort my body in a disparate attempt to engage in some rambunctious fun with the kids. My toddler absolutely loves the games that are projected onto the floor and will spend long stretches of time squishing bugs or playing the piano with his feet. Overall, DC is a wonderful play place, especially on those rainy days when the kids are getting cabin fever. read more

I'm not from the area, but thought I'd try the place out based on the other Yelp reviews. A bit over-priced for the admission, but food was somewhat reasonable. My three kids and I made the trip North to Dizzy Castle from SE PDX one recent sunny day and we were not disappointed. After having a few local experiences at other play castles, I was happy to see the employees were aware, kind and responsive to all their customers, both big and small. My kids had a blast playing in the clean, spacious castle which was well-appointed with good visibility and several entrance/exits on the castle. They offer a great food with nutritious options. My son enjoyed his spinach tortilla on which they served his quesadilla. All the food was fresh and served in a timely manner (under 10 minutes) that day. Overall Dizzy Castle won our hearts over. My daughter loves this place. We have been several times including cosmic night tonight and my daughters birthday party. We looked at other kids places for parties and they were about the same price for 5 less kids. The staff is constantly in the play structure wiping it down and even playing with the kids. I was sad to read the other review about not being able to do gifts with a party booked because this is the policy of almost EVERY other kids place so I'm not sure why the person was so shock. The staff has always been friendly and willing to help even when they are packed. It is worth the $2 more the Kids club by a long shot and they have real food that is healthy instead of the frozen pretzel and nacho option. Unless going for lessons or invited by another child, we will only go here from now on. I'm glad there is finally a better option for an indoor play area in Vancouver. Thank you for everything. I love Dizzy Castle. I have 18 month old triplets so getting them out by myself can be a bit crazy. I love that there is a toddler area that is completely closed off and all of it was padded! There were lots of highchairs, which is normally not the case when we go places that are supposed to be kid friendly. It was $5 a kid (under 3) but they are running a special this month for $1 off each kid! The place is super clean and the staff is overly helpful! The cafe prices are also very reasonable (not inflated at all and the food is actually good) We will be going back!!! read more

I love Dizzy Castle, and I don't even have any kids. I come here for the awesome Vegan menu that they offer. The cafe has an broad menu and I think it is a great to have Vegan options to encourage kids to make healthier eating choices. The menu is amazing, they have a little bit of everything- pizza, salads, wraps, pan inis, grilled cheese, nuggets, oh and all types of smoothies and lattes and such! The staff is also super nice and friendly. While the whole cafe is not Vegan, the offer a separate gluten free menu along with the basic menu items that are the same as the Vegan menu (but with dairy). I would definitely recommend this place to any Vegetarian/Vegans in the Vancouver area that don't feel like driving to Portland for good food! You can also call your food in, which is efficient and saves the embarrassment of going kid-less to a place for kids. read more

While the younger kids in our group had a blast; the older kids thought that it was a "too little kid" and "small". This place is great for that age group. The castle and pirate ship are very cool aspects. If planning a birthday party there, the rooms are small. I would not recommend having more than 12 kids in the pirate room and not more than 15-18 kids in the castle room. The customer service was fantastic while I was there. The food is a great quality but the pictures online make their food look larger than they are. The large pizzas for parties were the size of a small pizza elsewhere and the pieces were cut into toddler size slices. The place was relatively clean, but extremely cramped, even in the main area. The whole feel of the place was too much crammed into too little of a space. There is not enough parking in the main lot but they did say there was overflow parking down the street a little ways. It would be 5 stars if it wasn't ridiculously expensive to throw a bday party. We recently celebrated our sons 8th bday. There was a $50 Deposit, $195(-50) for 15 children to attend. Unfortunately, you don't get a refund if some of the 15 kids didn't show ( $195 8/15 kids??) So thank goodness for us all the kids showed. Additionally, $12-$15 Per pizza. $6.99 for drinks and $6.99 more for refills. The party costed us $245 plus tax. Well worth it but too pricey. Overall, we had an amazing time. I HIGHLY recommend party host Kimberly. She is fun and full of energy. Further more, request for the cosmic room which gives you a flying in outer space atmosphere x2 hours with a visit from the dinosaur. Also has espresso for us tired parents. Order a white chocolate caramel frap with 2 shots. Yummy. We will definitely return for another party there. Highly recommended. Thanks for keeping the restrooms clean . I recently went with my 15 month old daughter - I was attracted to the idea that they had a big toddler area and they offered a coupon in the Clipper Magazine so I thought it would be fun to try out. I was not impressed with the customer service of the place. I wasn't greeted when I came in, I was not given a run-down of the place even after explaining that it was our first time there. I noticed before we went that they feature on their website that they offer free wifi. It seemed like the wifi attracted a rough crowd. Awkward. I do also find it weird that they promote surfing the web instead of engaging/interacting with and observing their children, but that's my opinion. Also, no staff was present or walking around when I was there. I only saw one person manning the front desk and one in the food area. I am impressed that they clean/sanitize everything DAILY, but this is heresay from another mother I engaged in conversation with. Not sure I'll return due to the bad service, awkward crowd, and it's also not a convenient location for us. I do have to say I was impressed with the size of their toddler area. read more

I had my son's birthday party schedule to be at dizzy castle. I paid my 50 dollar deposit 2 weeks in advance for the party. We booked the party package which included 15 kids. The day of my sons party all but 5 of our guests cancelled on us. I called dizzy castle to inquire about our options. I asked if they would be willing to pro rate our rate due to the lack of attendance. They refused! Either I was going to pay 150 more dollars to use the party room and the 5 children play or I could cancel. If I cancelled the party I wouldn't get my deposit back, which I expected, but I could pay the drop in rate of 10 dollars per child which would have been fine, but I couldn't bring my cake or anything inside the building unless we were using the party room. Needless to say, I cancelled the party and held it someplace else. I understand that they are a business, but they are a business that their target audience is children. Children get sick! That is exactly what happened to our guests. This business is more worried about money than their guests. This was going to be our first visit and I can guarantee they have lost my business, as well as all of my guests business. read more

I am a member of the Parent Board at Camas Montessori School, which has students from ages 2 1/2 to 6. Recently, we were looking for a venue to hold a social event which would cater to both our students, their siblings (older and younger), and their parents,and Dizzy Castle turned out to be the perfect place. Arrangements and payment was made in advance, and when we arrived, we found everything organized and set up for us, so that the check-in process was expedited and went smoothly. The students and their siblings were able to play to their hearts content, while parents were able to visit with each other in the quieter party room which was opened to us for this event. The hostesses assigned to our group, who were led by Destiny, were very attentive to our needs and provided cups and pitchers of water for us free of charge. Most of us ordered food, and I personally find that the food at Dizzy Castle is MUCH tastier than that of its competitor establishments. Before the evening was over, Dizzy the Dragon also made an appearance, even though we had not paid for that service, and this thrilled and delighted our little ones. Because we are a non-profit school, we asked if a portion of the proceeds from the evening could be returned to our school, and the owners readily agreed. If you are looking for a venue for a social event to raise money for a non-profit entity, and you need a place that can accommodate both children and adults, I would highly recommend Dizzy Castle read more
