He was flexible in scheduling (it's a mobile service, he comes to you), which I appreciated. I had a full interior detailing done on a sedan, which took about 2.5-3 hrs. Diego and his associate were truly outstanding in communication, price, and outcome. Unfortunately, the morning scheduled for the detail, 9am went to 9:30am and still no contact. I called Diego who apologized and immediately came over with his assistant. Within a few hours, they produced the cleanest looking car inside and out. Communicated with four other places in the area before picking DJ Auto Detail. Communication was prompt, clear, and friendly. Got my Honda detailed and the paint touched up. They got the oil out of the back seat and all the stains out of the upholstery. This is a used car so it came with peeling and chipping paint when I bought it but they managed to touch up the paint and suggested for next time redoing the paint entirely. Okay, let me start with WOW. My car looks basically brand new aside from the normal wear and tear on the exterior/interior. Before I get into how amazing my car looks, let me give you a picture of what my car looked like beforehand. I own two huskies, which means hair EVERYWHERE, no matter how hard I try to keep them brushed and clean. Doesn't matter what I do, hair is inevitable. My furniture, my clothes, and even my car when we take them on drives. Before winter rolled around, we did a lot of mini road trips to San Diego and Ventura and all around the LA area. So you can imagine the bits of dirt being tracked into the car and small pieces of trash from sitting in the car for long periods plus the hair. We also just recently bought a new home, so we spent a lot of time fixing up the house during winter before we moved in, which meant lots of trips to a nursery and home depot to make everything look great. Lots of dirt, wood chips, you name it, was in my car. We have finally settled into the house and we've finished moving everything in. Which means less trips to Home Depot and less trips that require hauling anything around. It's been at least 5-6 months since I was able to properly have my car washed and keep it looking nice. I was finally ready to be able to keep my car clean and looking good again. I AM SO FREAKING HAPPY WITH HOW MY CAR LOOKS. It basically looks like new and like I have never owned a dog in my life. It is absolutely beautiful and I am so thankful that my father recommended Diego to me. He did a full detail on my interior and it looks so good. I'm actually not embarrassed to get into my car anymore. Like WOW. Do not hesitate to spend the money on DJ Auto Detail. It is well worth it. So, ever since the pandemic I hadn't washed my car due to super hot weather and occasional rain. I was looking to get my car detailed since it had been over 7 weeks. I found DJ Auto Detailing and realized it was mobile only. Parking in my area is pretty terrible. I asked if we could do make some sort of arrangement. Diego said I could meet him as his place and have the service done there. I agreed and met up with him there. I have a cadillac cts coupe and upon reaching his area, I parked in his driveway which was very narrow for my car. Upon parking, I carefully stepped out the car to meet the guys. One of the assistants went to open my car and on doing so chipped paint from the very edge of the door hitting the fence. Mind you, I just parked the car. He told me he could fix the issue. So I left, they did the service and when I got back, they attempted to fix the small chip. Apparently they ran out of the product (filler paint i assume) they were going to use to fix the chip so they pretty much buffed out paint told me they couldn't fix it. The wash they did was mediocre for the Express Detail option. They polished it and it looked nice but certain areas weren't cleaned properly. The interior was vacuumed well and steam cleaned. The engine bay was also cleaned out and I did like that as well. I feel they're trying to get to a professional level but the attention to detail (in my opinion) is still lacking. read more

I wish I would have taken photos of the before because my car was a hot mess. Anyway, these guys were super amazing and made sure my car looked brand new. Upon arriving they made me feel comfortable leaving my car behind. I don't know much about detailing a car so can't say much about the products BUT whatever they use is great. Has no chemical smell residue nor did it damage a thing. He was friendly enough and went over some of the things he used and his techniques but I have the brain of a bird when it comes to those things and can hardly remember the specifics but if you're knowledgeable on these topics then rest assured that they will explain everything to you!
