The second night, while heading somewhere else, we saw the teeny-tiny sign in the window, saw a couple people inside, and decided to give it a try. There was nothing wrong with the food; it was absolutely average. My friend and I both had the pad Thai with chicken, and it was no better or worse than the pad Thai I've had anywhere else. I ordered mine very mild, but it was still spicy enough for me to guzzle my entire glass of water. Then I sat and hoped for a refill. It didn't happen. The restaurant is a bit odd. I gather they do most of their business in takeout: While we were dining, quite a few people came in to pick up orders. The dining room is just a few tables with plastic tablecloths and folding chairs. A single picture hanging on the wall in the only decoration. You place your order at the counter around the corner from the dining room, then take a seat and your food is brought to you. When you are done you get up and pay at the counter. No one checked on us while we were eating, although the girl at the counter was quite friendly. Being from California, where we are sometimes over-served in restaurants, I was not used to the payment system (the waiter doesn't bring the bill to you!), but we encountered this in most of the other restaurants we ate at in PEI, so I guess it's typical. If you're in the mood for Thai, you could do worse. If I lived in Charlottetown, I'd prefer eating in the comfort of my own home than in the restaurant. But the price was decent and the food was perfectly adequate.

After traveling for days and not having proper food, this food was a welcome relief. The udon noodles was perfect in every way except I think one of the mushroom or wood ears had a stronger flavour which over powered the entire dish. It was almost bitter. Not overly, but it still took away all the rest of the flavours. Mushrooms with Bok Choy was perfect. The flavours and crispness of Bok Choy was 5/5*.
