Here's an incomplete list of all the dryers that never seem to work: 3 7 9 19 10 13 16 17 25 27 32 33 35 39 45 57 61 62 67 I have been coming here on a weekly basis for ten years. It's always packed. Cannot comprehend how they never fix the dryers. The good: spacious. Late hours, friendly staff. You don't need a sack full of quarters because they use a card system. They changed the dryers over to free a few years ago. read more

This place is convenient because you don't need to carry quarters, that's it. The dryers are free but they turn off every 3 minutes so you have to babysit your clothes for an hour. Sucks read more

Literally the worst dryers ever. Cheap washing for a reason. Every time you put your clothes in a dryer, it stops 5 seconds later. Even if it worked before for the previous person. Ridiculous read more

RUN!!!!! They charged $115 to absolutely destroy our clothing. First trip to them they melted my daughters tutu we didn't mention it, second time lost a leotard no big deal, this time we had to complain about what was done all new lululemon and carhartt things damaged beyond repair. When we called we got the run around from Rude ghetto employees who refused to let us speak to management. We were hung up on and had our calls intoned. When i showed up an employee had the audacity to tell me i was "taking advantage of a small business" i asked how and no answer because i wasn't. I let them re wash my clothes got no call or update came in and it was still absolutely ruined at that point i asked for a refund of the service and they refused and argued some more. A refund wouldn't even cover ONE of the shirts they ruined but they said I'm a scammer and that I'm lying. I filed a civil suit since they didn't wanna handle this properly. A laundromat where you don't have to carry a bucket full of quarters? A win! To do your wash at DJM you have to put cash on a card and then use the card in the machines. The first time you get your card, its a $1.00 deposit ( which the sign says is refundable). You keep the card and just keep refilling it when you need more. Various size machines ranging in cost, the good thing about here is they offer free drying. Depending on what machines you use, the card knows how much free drying time you get. There are charts throughout that give you the price of wash = drying time conversions. Very clean, seems like decent upkeep. I think this is where I'll keep doing my laundry for now. read more

If dryers don't work with initial first 4 quarter on one dryer on high (with light clothes to dry)! Then they get no more of my money! On top all of the first 6-10 dryers where for attended... again will not spend anymore of money there!!!! read more

What can you say about a Laundromat? I drop off my laundry, and pick it up a when I get a chance. HOWEVER...the extra care the staff gives is more than I ever expected. Everything that should be hung is hung and sheathed in protective plastic. Everything else is VERY neatly folded and placed in a large plastic bag. As an added bonus, the women who work there (and they work hard) are terrific! We used another laundromat elsewhere when we first moved into Coram, which ultimately proved to be a huge mistake. This place is large, clean, and I suppose if you have to do laundry, this is the best place to do it. read more

I have been doing laundry here a while now and I would never go anywhere else. I use a wheelchair and everyone is very friendly and helpful. And what's better than not having to carry around a bucket of quarters when you get a laundry card to put your money on. Pay $20 and they give you an extra $2 free. This laundry mat is one of the cleanest ones I've been to on long island. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Dryers are hot and clean and not many down unlike the Maytag place on Middle Country Road in Lake Grove which every other dryer is down. And has always been that way. Love this place! read more

PROs: Recharging a payment card instead of using $20 in quarters. Free dryer use with a paid wash. Place is clean. CONs: Staff has TOO much use of the large dryers for customers that drop-off their clothes. The staff dryers are marked as "Attendant Use Only". Too many people use more than one cart and claim it as their own while they are doing wash which leaves not many to choose from. Staff also gets first dibs on the carts and they will take it back if you try to take it! I recommend getting more carts for your customers, getting your own carts for the staff and release some of the dryers for customers. Maybe have staff doing drop-off laundry during the overnight when no one is washing clothes. Over the weekend is when most people do their wash and with your staff controlling many of the machines, it makes it difficult for paying customers. read more

Laundry: not my favorite thing... but has to get done... I finally found a laundromat that is essentially clean and convenient. The automated card system is easy to use and no quarters needed. Washers are clean and plentiful. Drying is free with a wash. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. This is my second visit, and guaranteed not my last. read more
