The owner Melissa and her husband listened to the issues expressed by their customers and took action. The owners now manage the day to day operations of the laundromat. They are kind, genuine, and treat all customers with respect while balancing the need to maintain their business. I really like this laundromat. I've just moved to the area and I feel like the people who run it are kind and nice and everything is immaculate and clean TVs /Internet / . Machines all service properly. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because of the dryers- after putting in numerous amounts of quarters do not dry the clothes as well as they should. I'm sure that the dryers that are set aside for the staff are not set up the same way. I did not like going home with wet clothes. read more

The only reason I'm not giving this place more stars is my last experience with the woman working. Last wash is at 7pm and last dry is at 8pm. I walked in at 750 with my wet clothes and I got the third degree for wanting to dry clothes. I understand that they want business for both wash and dry, so I let it slide because ultimately she let me dry my clothes. What was absolutely disgusting was the fact that she started clipping her nails behind the counter. Gross and unprofessional. I don't care that I'm the only person in here. My wife and I are new to town and for the first time in about 18 yrs don't have hookups for washer and dryer where we live. Finding a good, clean, and safe laundromat was high priority. Miller's place checks all those boxes for us. Is it the cheapest, probably not, but saving a few bucks wasn't in the list of priorities. Janet, the lady who works there, was very helpful to us. I found some other reviews here that spoke negatively about her but maybe it was because they were rude first I don't know. I found if I'm polite and nice to start with people generally treat me the same way back. Overall this will be our go to place for laundry every week now. read more

Ok so I see the horrible reviews below and I am guessing this place is under new ownership or management because this place is so clean, the staff was super friendly, and the machines are so freaking convenient and user friendly!!! I have been going to the Rocky Point Laundromat which is a dump and this has turned me off to laundromat, but my experience here today has changed that. I will only come here to do my laundry from now on. No more fussing with quarters since the machines take debit/credit cards with the contact less option!!! 5 stars!!! Nastiest most miserable staff I've ever had to encounter. Every time they have a nasty comment and make it seem like picking up your dropped off laundry is the biggest inconvenience to their lives even though it's their job. The new owner is nice and friendly, but she's literally the only one. We try to be friendly every time we go to hopefully create a positive interaction with the staff but it rarely goes anywhere. I'd recommend finding anywhere else to do laundry unless you're comfortable tolerating such a miserable, rude, and unprofessional staff. read more

The women who work here are miserable and nasty and act like their job is a chore. I come here because it's convenient and spend way too much money for the low level of customer service. The employees are grouchy! Washing machines take credit cards and quarters and come in three sizes: 20 pounds / $2.25 40 pounds / $4.50 60 pounds / $5.50 Half hour cycles. Dryers take quarters. 7 minutes per quarter. They're open until 10pm every day. Last wash is at 8pm, last dry at 9pm. They don't like it when you come in to wash after 8pm but may make an exception if you promise to be gone by 10pm. They have ample machines to make paper money into quarters. Soap, bleach, and softeners $0.75. they have metal baskets on wheels for wet clothes. They will do your laundry for you if you want. It costs $0.90 per pound. They have arcade games and a loud tv. read more

They're definitely a clean facility. Only problem is I used my debit card on a $6 machine and paid cash for the dryer. Found out the next morning they charged me $14. When trying to call they NEVER answered. Called 6 times. I'll use them again, but just using cash ONLY! read more

Very clean laundromat. Not very large but It has never been too crowded. A little expensive but they take credit instead of having to have a bunch of quarters. The dryers only take quarters however but no biggie. Good location right next to Dunkin so I can get a coffee and donut while waiting. read more

Place was clean which is a must! Bigger washing machines were available and credit card/debit card can be used. Dryers use change only. Machines are available to make change. It was busy but machines were available. read more

Arrived at around 7:10 pm on a Monday , loaded up 2 machines. Getting ready to wash, lady told us last wash was at 7, told me sign was on door.. was not very nice about it either.. it would be helpful if that information was on the website because all it says is closes at 9.. could easily have finished our wash but had to take all clothes out and leave, will not be going back to your place again..no way to treat a customer read more

By far the nastiest service I have EVER experienced. this OLD blonde woman gave me the worst attitude when I went to drop off my clothes. Her tone of voice from the start was absolutely horrendous and she came off very annoyed I was dropping off clothes telling me " you know it won't be done today " I politely said thats not a problem. after she weighed my bags she huffed and puffed her way to the counter and when she asked me my name I told her and started to spell it out and she very rudely cut me off saying " I KNOW HOW TO SPELL IT " at that point I had enough and asked for my clothes back, at first she refused and asked me why. I told her her attitude was beyond disgusting and I did not want her services or to give her my money and had to ask for my clothes a second time. she then threw them at me making more than half of the bag fall onto the very dirty floor. I was fuming and enraged but seen no other person working insight to make a complaint to. I took my things and left and I will NEVER be coming back, I will be doing EVERYTHING in my power to get in contact with the owner and let them know how awful their customers are being treated, how their customers clothes are being handled and every single person who attempts to go to this laundromat how terrible the service is. I was injured and could not do the laundry. My husband dropped the clothes off here. I have NEVER seen anything so bad in my life. Good designer shirts should have been hung were a wrinkled mess and folded. Every single item (and there was a lot) was wrinkled. Every single shirt was inside out. I'm sorry but is that how laundry should be folded? The attempt to make things easier for me is now 2x the work. They could not have done a worse job. read more

So inconvenient and RUDE! Dropped off my laundry last night and went to pick it up today. For starters they don't take debit/credit (how inconvenient it's 2017) no problem they accept checks so I begin to write a check. They lady snaps at me "I hope that's a local check." The address on the check is a CT address because my new checks have not arrived because we JUST moved to NY! They lady refused my check and license because they were both from CT. Even after telling her that we just moved and there is nothing else I can do about it. Due to my schedule I won't be able to get to the bank and pick up my clothes till tomorrow. I now have no clothes because they have them all still! I've never been more angry! read more

This is probably the cleanest Laundromat on the island. There are plenty of machines even when it's busy and the employees are very helpful. Pam is the best. One time a washer got stuck with my clothes in it and the owner came quickly to fix it and they paid to dry them which was nice. read more

I was looking forward to going to this laundromat since it was so close to my apartment but shortly after going there for about 1 week I promised I wouldn't go back there because the dryers were not drying my clothing properly so I let the attandant know and she was so rude to me. She then went on to tell me to just deal with it and there was nothing she could do because she was not a repairman. I entered this laundromat with my clothes in tow at 8:23pm to wash because my home washer broke down. The attendant turned me away saying that the "last-wash" time was at 8pm. I asked her what time they closed and she told me 10pm. I explained that I only needed to wash not dry (since my home dryer is fine). She still turned me away. I use this place to wash my comforters and I know that a wash cycle is about a half hour which means I would've been done before 9pm (remember they close at 10pm). From a business perspective, who would turn away income for something that makes absolutely no sense. What was her motive? Did she have a problem with my appearance...I just don't get it. There were other patrons in there washing, so was it something about me personally? read more
