The store selection is good, not as much variety as a Home Depot or Lowe's, but still an amazing selection nonetheless. There is a rental counter in the left of the store when you first walk in which never has a line. Cashiers were efficient and lines moved quickly. Yellow price tags indicate clearance aka discontinued items. There is also a drive through lumber yard but I can't speak on that as I haven't done that yet.

I'm not one, technically, but I had a big project and decided to check things out here. I brought one of my kids here so some of the photos are courtesy of said kid, and may not reflect the quality of pictures I usually can provide. Please excuse those pictures, it was the only way to keep them occupied. HD Supplies/White Cap has good prices in general, but not on all things, mostly less residential things and more industrial items and the discount really is if you're buying in quantity, they have contractor's pricing if you buy in bulk. I had to buy a bunch of doorknobs, for examples, so some savings in that, and several faucets, which we ended up getting elsewhere, because their selection is more limited, but certainly if you weren't picky about style and such, this place has good prices for getting a bunch of the same exact items. All in all, it's easy to get in and out and get what you want here if you know what you need and you'll save $ if you're buying a bunch of the same thing, but so smaller items you can haul yourself. But if you need big things like doors, wood planks, etc. you can still get them here as they have good delivery service, and reasonably priced and even free IIRC if you buy a certain amount, although I didn't need delivery. Service is a bit slim, but if you can't find something, the counter guys are helpful and will point you the right direction. Otherwise, this place is pretty much self-serve till it's time to check out.

I guess my measly little order isn't important enough to get a response from them. At this point, I want to cancel the order - but they don't have an option for that anywhere that i can find. It was a cold, but at least it was a dry day. We drove all the way out here from West Sac, but it only took about 20-25m. Not bad on 50 going east. This is the original store iirc. They no longer have the store on 52 Ave near Sac State, but they still have the Sunrise one. We came here first thinking they have all the selection, but it turns out this location has all the NATURAL stones and only SOME of the engineered stones (read quartz which is NOT quartzite, yes, it gets confusing), so we did end up going up a few miles to the Sunrise branch too (see my review of that one shortly). This store has SO much to choose from! We felt like little kids in a candy store (except for the shivering from the cold, lol). My friend's trying to remodel a couple of bathrooms in her home so she's looking for something that's understated, but yet elegant and timeless, not flashy or loud, but still aesthetically tasteful. Unfortunately, she didn't find exactly what she was looking for in the material she wanted it in, for durability, but she found one that just *might* work so we went ahead and got a quote for material and labor and the price wasn't bad at all.
