Our contractors brought flooring for a new room that was completely off from our existing flooring, and we were supposed to install the very next day. I called in the afternoon stressed out, sent photos over text, and Jonathan patiently worked with me to identify the exact match to our existing floors. By the very next morning, he had already confirmed the match, sourced it, and had everything ready for pickup that same morning. The turnaround time and customer service were honestly incredible. Thank God Jonathan was so patient, responsive, and knowledgeable. He truly went above and beyond to source the flooring ASAP and saved our project timeline. Update- The owner acknowledged an error and apologized. This is rare these days yet the result remains unchanged. They have the products we are interested in, measured a model house and provided a quote. We found another installer that called them for a quote for the wood and The Floor Store salesman told the installer "they can't make up their mind" and provided him The Floor Store quote for our installation; cost us money and ultimately we purchased the flooring elsewhere. They provided our personal information to the installer we found. The Floor Store salesman is either petty or is ignorant of law. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The communication from Sarkis throughout this entire process has been absolutely terrible -- so bad that my husband and I genuinely started to wonder if we were being scammed. To start, our flooring installation was scheduled for Memorial Day. However, when the contractors arrived at the warehouse to pick up materials, they were unable to because the warehouse was closed for the holiday. That alone should have been caught ahead of time. What made matters even worse was the complete lack of communication about what was actually being installed. We were told our "flooring" would be installed on Memorial Day, which to any reasonable customer means both laminate and carpet. We spent our entire holiday weekend moving furniture and clearing out the entire house in preparation for everything to be done. Only after I was awaiting the laminate installation on Memorial Day were we informed that the carpet installation had never been scheduled. Instead of taking full responsibility for the confusion, Sarkis blamed me and said I "should have asked more questions." Apparently, in their terminology, laminate counts as "flooring," while carpet is considered something separate -- and somehow I was just supposed to know that. That is not how clear communication works. As a customer, I feel completely betrayed and disrespected. Rather than genuinely apologizing and trying to fix the situation, the blame was shifted onto us. We are now stuck in an empty house, sleeping on the floor, with no clear plan for when the carpet will even be installed -- possibly not until next week. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with a company, and I would never recommend this store to anyone. read more

An update 2 weeks later: The installer returned to replace the scratched boards in the kitchen, repair the trim, adjust the threshold transition, correctly set the appliances and clean things up. I appreciate the effort on these items, and have increased my rating by a star. The PM and I still disagree about the subfloor prep + expectations overall that were communicated to me during the shopping experience (by himself and the owner) and "it is what it is" as the saying goes. Overall I think my experience was likely an outlier, though an honest account of what happened. If I could start this process over knowing what I know now, I would still consider Floor Store as a service provider. read more

I worked with Frank to pick out an LVP that we liked and he came to the house to take measurements and determine the scope of the project. He provided a quote for me the next day. Their quote beat out the next company I got a quote from by about $4000 for a similarly priced product. We scheduled the install for after the painter and before household goods were scheduled for delivery. They had a small window and were able to accommodate my schedule. The install went smoothly with a crew who was polite, worked hard, and brought up any concerns for us to discuss along the way (we had a leaky valve).
