What other reviews are missing is what makes this store great: rock bottom prices. You will experience a different kind of customer service which is very curt and to the point with no smiling. The counter people will yell across the warehouse to get someone to help you. But to them this is just how they do it. No need to be offended or if you are, shop elsewhere. Great value for the money. If you are looking for a company to hold your hand and help you pick colors and make you feel good about it, then this might not be the place for you. If you are looking for a very low price and can pick out your own product then I highly recommend them. if I could give zero or negative stars here for installation, I would. They cut quartzite inside our open plan kitchen without checking with us first or putting up any protective sheeting. when we told them to stop they kept going. We called the store while it was happening and they were rude. We have carpet throughout the rest of our home. All of their materials state they will do no cutting of the quartzite inside - as it is dangerous and causes lung cancer / mesothelioma. There is now no way to get this quartzite dust out of our home. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. read more

Came in here looking for some quartz for a remodel and was disappointed in the selection for quartz. They did have some nice quartz but not everything is stock and no real samples to speak of and since the material is hung up it's hard to tell what it would look like laying flat. I went to Granite Outlet as.pretty handy DIYer. I was not sure if the process to buy slabs. Do I just walk in and look around? Do I have someone show me stuff I'm interested in? Do I go to the front desk? For those of you that don't get these questions, that's fine. You don't understand. These questions are extremely relevant to the handy DIYer(s)+ community. You would not want to walk into Hughes Hardwoods and look like a complete amateur! So. Back to Granite Outlet: They make is super easy...You walk in. Pick out something you like. Ask one of the workers to show you something if you cannot find it. They are super helpful, and although look busy, they always stop to help. Ask worker or desk to tag a slab (or whatever) and your done. Prices seem fair. Overall I highly recommend. read more

This business must be a front. They obviously don't care about selling Granite because These people have the worst attitude I've ever witnessed. Unhelpful and condescending. I'm a contractor and I was about to purchase granite for a custom home. I'm building when I was forced to interact with the troll woman at the counter. I couldn't even stand a three minute conversation with the woman before walking out. I'm happily taking my business elsewhere. Not only will I not be returning to these ass***** but I will be sure to tell every customer/contractor that I know in the industry to definitely not use Granite outlet in the future.. I was referred to this place by my contractor because they are the cheapest. But having gone here twice now, the customer service was horrible both times. Most items are out of stock. So when we asked about a quartz we liked, the lady was able to call other stores to see if they had them. As we kept asking her for other items, she rudely just says "if items are out of stock, they are discontinued." I'm sure she told us that because she didn't want to keep calling their other location. (But even then, if most of their items are going to be discontinued, they aren't left with many options.)We even said "okay, thank you." And she doesn't even respond. No manners whatsoever. Their pricing is excellent, however you will require some knowledge of the materials and your project before coming in. Please note that they DO NOT have full slabs of material here. To complete our kitchen island, which is about 72"x60", it would have required 2 pieces here which we weren't willing to do (we didn't want a seam in the island because it would have been very noticeable). I was bummed to discover this, as the next cheapest place was probably around 25% more expensive. I believe this is how they are so cheap--all of their pieces of quartzite etc are pre-cut and partially finished from the factory so there's less labor involved for them. If you have a smaller island, this place will save you a lot of time and money. read more

Don't come here expecting top notch customer service. You will be wildly disappointed. But, the ladies at the register and the gentlemen on the floor are helpful enough. I went here a few times over a 3 week span looking for countertops for my kitchen. The modern products were often sold out. I finally found some we liked and when we were looking at the slabs we wanted, I actually spotted my first choice in counters on the floor. They said sold out on the display, but after some digging with one of the gentlemen, we found 3 slabs in my top choice color. The prices are really good in comparison to other places. read more

Do not use their installers-Cuco and his employees do not know how to cut granite/marble!! They cut the piece (too long) and then they cut the sink space/holes too small! They left the countertops with an 1" overlay into the sinks which should be 1/8"-1/4". They grinded it down a bit but still too much of an overhang and mild is stuck under the counter. The holes for the faucets were off center and too close to the sink, so couldn't move the faucets. Had to cut part of the sink (underneath) to adjust the faucets. Use experienced installers! read more

I'm going to start this off with noting that I am extremely difficult to please. I do most of my own work and I'm an OCD perfectionist. The team from Granite Outlet was phenomenal. I was irritated at first, as my confirmed install date was initially pushed, from Wednesday to Friday, as the installers were behind schedule a bit. I negotiated a $100 freebie with a window sill, and accepted the delay. Overall, I understand, and was just happy to move forward. I did get a call the morning of the install, and they discovered a cracked slab, so there was a bit of a delay, but when they did finally get here, they were ready to go. The guys that came to install were friendly, and real easy to work with. They really had one focus, which was making me happy. The lead guy was really great at his craft, and understood I was particular on the grain of the stone, and wanted things to flow, as if they were from the same slab. He matched the seams perfectly, and I honestly couldn't be happier. Granite Outlet sells pre-cut counter depth slabs, so it's not like you're buying a 10x10 slab to ensure grain consistency, however they were so good, you'd never notice. The overall cost was surprisingly affordable. I can't recommend these guys enough. I am so happy with our results. read more

Run, don't walk, away from this place! If I could give them a Minus rating, I would! My contractor sent me there, I picked out some granite for my kitchen and Granite Outlet installed it. Their workmanship was so bad, there are no words to describe it! And they lie! A gaping seam with the wrong color epoxy, rough seams, edges so sharp people actually cut their hands when they accidentally grabbed the edge of the counter top, unbelievable mess inside and outside my home. My contractor sent Granite Outlet's employees back out to fix the problems and they arrived before my contractor. One employee told me "that's the way granite is," and when I disagreed, he told me it was the light. The other employee pretended he didn't speak English but later I heard him talking outside and he spoke perfect English. My contractor had to make them redo the repairs several times before they got it right -- or at least satisfactory. When they first installed the granite, they actually pulled solar lights out of the ground in my front yard, trampled plants, etc., instead of working on the driveway and they left a coating of granite dust everywhere in my yard and driveway plus pieces of granite and lumber. Of course, they didn't bother to reinstall the lights. And my kitchen was a disaster! When they returned to do the repairs, my contractor made them clean up their mess. read more

Horrible customer service at the front desk. We came to pick up our counter top and we forgot our yellow receipt so they said they couldn't help us. After several suggestions from us on where they may have a copy of the receipt the lady helping us reluctantly looked and found a copy. No smiles, no can I help you, no thank you, no nothing but a face looking like she couldn't get rid of us fast enough. I gave 1 star for the guys loading the slab. They were nice. read more

They have terrible customer service my mom and I came in to look for some granite for her countertops. We walked in and there were no other customers in the store. We walked around until a man told us to pull around back to get our stuff and my mom said oh no you misunderstood we're here to look and hopefully pick out something. The man got on his radio and told us to go to the front. Now by this time one other couple (Caucasian) walks in . They were greeted, offered water and my mom and I are still standing there like Umm where did these employees come from all of a sudden? And they ignored us while assisting the other couple. So finally once they got what they needed my mom then asked her question about some granite she had found and like that had no price . So the man gave us a ridiculous price that didn't match the other prices! So we started to leave when my mom said she needed to go back and let them know about their customer service. When she did the man named huey luey idk told MY MOM how they had other stores and maybe she should try the one off 52nd st where she could get the service she wanted!!! The store off 52nd is near Franklin in the south so y'all do the math!! don't shop here! They suck!! read more

This was my second experience ordering and working with Granite Outlet. Both times, ordering was easy and they were very accommodating. The customer service was excellent both times, so unsure where the poor customer service complaints are coming from. We just redid our kitchen in a house we just bought and used granite outlet for our quartz countertops and installation upon our realtors recommendation. Wow! They did a great job. The installers (Bao Long was one of their names) were very nice, listened to all our requests and executed the job seamlessly! They demoed the original tile and no issues with that either. And it was an amazing price! Not to mention, there were no hidden costs or additions to our original estimate. So happy! read more

After reading the yelp reviews I was nervous about having Granite Outlet demo my kitchen and install my counters, but I'm so glad I went with them. The people at the warehouse do not hold your hand and help you decide what to pick out, it is a self-serve atmosphere but that is why their prices are so amazing. No one was ever rude to me as other reviews have said. I requested a quote and David came out to me house a week later and measured my kitchen and provided me with a quote. When I went to the store to purchase my quartz, installation as only a week out. The 2 workers who tore out my old tile counters and backsplash were on time, curious, did not leave a mess, and did a wonderful job installing the new counters! They listened to me when I asked for the seams to be cut where the quartz was solid and not a pattern (if possible). Even my most noticeable seam still looks great and overall the countertops look amazing. read more
