Lockeford Auto came over with a battery charger to help get me going. No charge. Recently, some SoB broke into the storage yard and stole the catalytic converter from my RV. I dropped off my keys to Josh on a Friday. By the next business day, the replacement parts had arrived, and I was put into the schedule about two weeks out (due to their previous commitments). An opening arrived in the schedule and the Lockeford Auto team pulled my RV out of storage, completed the repairs, and placed it back in my storage slot. My wife and I worked very hard to pay for this vehicle, so writing a public review is not something I take lightly. Since shortly after purchasing the truck, I noticed movement in the driver's seat whenever I turned. At approximately 22,000 miles, I brought the truck in to have both the transmission and driver's seat inspected. I was told the transmission was operating properly and that no issues were found with the seat. The visit was covered under my extended warranty, and I was not charged. At approximately 82,000 miles, I returned to Chase Chevrolet due to additional transmission concerns and again requested that the driver's seat be inspected. Once again, no transmission issues were found. However, this time I was informed that the seat track required replacement due to a manufacturer defect. I specifically asked whether the issue posed a safety concern and was told it did not. The dealership ordered the part and completed the repair, but I was charged a $200 deductible. I explained that the issue should have been identified during my first visit and requested that the deductible be waived. I was told that I should have brought the truck back sooner. My concern is that I did bring the issue to the dealership's attention years earlier, while the vehicle had only 22,000 miles. Had the defect been properly diagnosed at that time, I likely would not have incurred the deductible or experienced the ongoing inconvenience. Unfortunately, I am now experiencing additional driver's seat issues that the dealership does not appear willing to take responsibility for. I live approximately four hours away, and I have lost work time, spent money on fuel, and made multiple trips in an effort to resolve a problem that I did not create. What is most disappointing is not necessarily the repair itself, but the lack of accountability and customer service. As a business owner, I understand the importance of standing behind your work and treating customers fairly. Being told that this situation is somehow my fault, despite documenting the concern years earlier, was frustrating and discouraging. I have always been loyal to Chevrolet and hoped for a better experience. My goal with this review is not to criticize for the sake of criticizing, but to share my experience and hopefully encourage a resolution. I invested over $60,000 in this truck and simply want the vehicle and customer service experience I expected when making that investment.

Long story short... I dropped off the car on Friday and within about 2 hours the diagnostic confirmed it was a valve cover leak. The part was ordered, quoted a fair price, and I had the car back by Monday evening after the weekend. Maybe I got lucky with the timing but I have to say to get that work done in such a quick turnaround really made things a lot easier logistically having one less car. If you need work done quickly and at a fair price then Ron and his team at Automeister will get the job done. I will be trusting this shop for as long as I'm in Stockton and driving a Bimmer :)
