    Burrito

Gotta be the smallest burritos we ever brought. Definitely not going back. We got 5 burritos and paid over $64.00.

Size of Cali Burrito. Standard size

Ordered off of Doordash because they had 40% off up to $10. I got the Cali Burrito original price $13.65 which is advertised on Doordash as "all the goodness of our Super Burrito, but with a twist! Packed with crispy fries, melted cheese, your choice of savory meat, fresh onion and cilantro, tangy salsa, creamy sour cream, and our signature sauce. It's a flavor-packed feast wrapped in a tortilla!" The only thing that was in this burrito was my protein of choice which was carne asada, rice, beans, maybe like four fries and a tiny sprinkle of onions and cilantro. No sour cream, cheese, or signature sauce at all. I asked for green and red salsa on the side and the green salsa had exploded beforehand, I'm assuming due to the heat and the red was just okay but not spicy and not very flavorful. They also only gave me one tiny jalapeño in vinegar and the radishes had a weird taste to them. The asada was tender but was nothing special. The ratio of rice, beans and protein were really good though, there was an even amount of everything and the tortilla they used to wrap the burrito was soft and chewy. The size is standard so don't believe the other reviews when they say the Cali Burrito is huge, it's just normal sized in my opinion. Overall won't be coming back since there are so many other spots for better burritos.

We tried the food truck on 8 Mile Rd. Our order was taken quickly. There is no shade, but the table was comfortable. We got the CaliBurrito with pork. The meat was tender and mildly spiced. The burrito was delicious. And there was plenty for two. If you are traveling on Hwy. 99 and get hungry, try this place.

This rating is specifically for the tacos! I highly recommend ordering their tacos off door dash and getting them with all the fixings when selecting your options. Their tacos are so incredibly tasty and their salsa is on point! I usually get red and green. The service is fast too when ordering on door dash. I usually get the shrimp but recently got the carne asada and enjoyed it as well. Love that they have so many options for toppings!

Stopped at the food truck today at my son's soccer tournament. The service was fast and friendly. The space was clean. I like being able to see where, how, and who is preparing my food. This place was organized and clean. I ordered the Birria Tacos. Oh my word. Best I've ever had. I like my food super hot and I'm usually disappointed. Not here. Highly recommend.

We tried Fuego off the 99 after seeing amazing videos on Instagram and great reviews. Unfortunately we were met with disappointment. Service was fast and friendly no problem but the food was not up to par an couldn't finish the meal. First I do want to point out the food looked nothing like the pictures and videos online. Very disappointing. I was looking for the super cheesy pull in the fries amd loaded asada fries but instead got old / cold unpleasing fries. The super asada fries were saturated in grease so much it was dripping the cheese curled up on the fries the meat was seasoned ok. The super burrito was very hefty so I thought it could be redeemed but that too was super greasy. The beans were also hard. It smelled of old dirty grease. We couldn't finish our meals and I was super hungry just feel like my money was wasted.

If I could give Jesus 10 stars I would!!!!! Y'all came thru for me today and made my sisters bridal shower one to remember !!!! This morning a business here in Stockton that we booked a month ago canceled on me last minute & I was 2 hours away from my sisters bridal party. I searched on yelp and reached out to FUEGO & I got a response ASAP-- I can't begin to tell you guys how much I appreciate y'all!!!! Thank you so much for coming thru! I'm forever using y'all for our parties ! ! Thank you Jesus G & your team !!!! Appreciate y'all so so much!!!!

At this point we have learned to sample new places before making our usual big order so we stopped here for to try some of their taco offerings. The truck looks nice and employees were fine but we were disappointed in the tacos. I only ate one because it was so bland and I thought it was possibly because I wanted mine mild, but there should still be some seasoning, like salt, used on a milder taco. I don't think it was me though because my husband ate the other four and said they all tasted the same - like nothing. They were also quite oily. Hardly any grilled onions and one lime for 5 tacos. We were disappointed.

4.5 stars!! We came for the Super Burritos because a friend said they were decent. I'm always a little suspicious because it's Morada and I wouldn't actually consider this place a food mecca for obvious reasons. To top it off, Mexican food is also my favorite type of food so I know what good Mexican is supposed to taste like. (Meaning I'm picky) The Super Burritos came with with a mini plastic baggie filled with some chopped carrots, 1 jalapeño, chopped radishes and one lime. I would have preferred at least 4 to 5 limes because I like to squeeze the juices in. If you decide to eat here, there is one bench available where you can sit. It easily seats 6 people at the most (3 on each side). This food truck is located right next to the Chevron gas station if you're looking for a marker. Most people take their orders to go but it was a nice enough day to eat outside in the fresh air. I ordered a Chicken Super Burrito and after one bite, I knew that everything was on point. Tender shredded chicken that was seasoned well with mexican rice, refried beans, cilantro and onion. 1/2 star off-- *only* because I wish they had some salsa fresca in here. Love me some freshly chopped tomatoes but they didn't add them. If you're looking for good Mexican food, don't pass this place up. It's in a great location right off the freeway and next to the Chevron Gas Station.

Very kind staff and short waiting period, has a bench to sit at next to the food truck. Birria Fries w/ Salsa Verde - 8/10 Obviously a little soggy, but still heat. The outside fries were nice and crisp and added a nice contrast to the meat and soggier fries. The birria was nicely seasoned, juicy, and tender. Very filling. Definitely recommend Horchata con Cafe - 9/10 Gotta be the best horchata I've ever had, so smooth and robust. I love how the coffee benefits the cinnamony flavor of the horchata. Definitely recommend.

I recently tried the Fuego Taqueria food truck for the second time, and I was really hoping that the carne asada fries would be less salty than the other location. Unfortunately, they were still too salty for my taste. As I've mentioned in a different review, I'm willing to give another meat a try because I want to like this spot--the food looks so good on Instagram! However, I won't be ordering the carne asada fries again. If you've tried this location, I'd love to hear what you like about it and if you suggest trying something different.

    Asada burrito, Fuego style

Our second time trying Fuego Taco Truck. Service is quick and convenient, right off the eight mile 99 freeway. We ordered the asada Fuego burrito, asada tacos and asada quesadilla. I wish my burrito was more spicier considering it be FUEGO style. Overall generous amount of meat.

The food was AMAZING. I asked everyone to let me know what their favorite dishes were but they were all so delicious it was hard to narrow it down to just one or two. Our main entrees were the lemon dill salmon, the chicken with creamy mushroom sauce and the smoked tri tip. Everyone raved about the sauce on the chicken. I also included side dishes along with the Butternut Squash Soup. The soup was sooooo good. I would order all of the items again. I can't wait to have another dinner party and use Sabores Catering again. I was able to relax and enjoy my guests, not spend the entire time in the kitchen. For one reason or another, he just wasn't able to get our attention, which is weird considering we are all sitting around him and he's playing with fire. I also recommend ordering the food with less butter and soy sauce, since places like this tend to be heavy handed with both. The restaurant has made an interesting choice to offer soup OR salad with your $40 meal. It comes across as stingy, but I've been to places where the table gets overcrowded with plates and bowls so I didn't mind too much. One thing to note about the place is they do not have an exhaust above the grill. Instead, the exhaust vent is at grill-level. Your clothes will reek of smoke either way but I could definitely see people with asthma having difficulty at this place.

Buckle up, I rarely have to do reviews like this…read more This teppanyaki spot on Miracle Mile is a classic case of "small but promising." The location itself is compact, but surprisingly well laid out. When we walked in, I was impressed by how many teppanyaki tables they were able to fit into the space. There's also a small bar seating area that feels quaint and appropriate for the size of the restaurant, and their alcohol selection was surprisingly wide. Unfortunately, the experience unraveled once service began. When we arrived, there were only about six people in the entire restaurant. The same young woman was acting as both the server and bartender for everyone. She took our drink order right away, brought waters, and gave my husband his Starry. After that, things stalled. Two more guests walked in, and she greeted them, brought menus, took their drink orders, made their drinks, and continued helping other tables while my drink never appeared. After about 15 minutes, I asked where my drink was. She said she would make it right away, but then continued helping other tables directly in front of us at the bar. When I asked again, she finally mentioned they were out of one of the ingredients for my drink... soda water--something that should have been communicated much earlier. For context, we ordered the spicy edamame, the smoked unagi roll, and the shrimp and steak teppanyaki meal with an extra side of steak. Our bill ended up being over $140, so this wasn't exactly a quick, inexpensive bite. Service continued in the same pattern. She took our food order, the food came out, waters were refilled, but none of the sauces we had requested ever arrived. We were never asked how the food was, and we eventually had to ask for the check ourselves. To be fair, the server was polite and sweet whenever we did interact with her. However, the overall service fell well below basic expectations for both a bartender and a server. Being friendly doesn't make up for missed orders, lack of communication, and long waits--especially in a nearly empty restaurant. The food itself was decent, but the customer service overshadowed the entire experience. Personally, I would rather have a mediocre meal with fantastic service than a decent meal paired with frustrating service. Overall, the experience was disappointing enough that I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this location to others. If this is how they've been operating for as long as they've been open, it's honestly surprising they've maintained a customer base at all.

However, I had the opportunity trying out one of the more well-known butcher shops to serve San Joaquin County. This is none other than "Fagundes Meats & Catering" which has been a staple in Manteca for decades. Their actual brick-and-mortar location is off of N. Main St/E. Louise Ave in the heart of Manteca while their food truck ventures out to various locations for a variety of community events. In this case, I saw them serving hungry patrons at the Manteca Watermelon Street Fair that took place during the weekend of 6/6/26-6/7/26. To those that know this business already is that they are famous for their tri-tip. In addition to that, they also have other amazing protein options including rib-eye, brisket, pulled pork, Italian sausage, linguica, chicken, and the order I went with, their pork belly. I ended up going with their "Pork Belly Kabobs" and went for the combo deal which included a side (I went with their macaroni salad) and a drink (I opted for a Diet Pepsi). Total price for everything was $17 (which included tax + tip); not bad especially at a public outdoor event. I will say that the pork belly was quite delicious; a little bit on the salty side but nonetheless still a fairly decent portion in each and every bite. I paired it up with their homemade BBQ sauce which had a sweet yet tangy flavor. The macaroni salad was just average for me as it had too much of a vinegar taste while lacking a whole lot of flavor. Overall, I enjoyed this meal as it held me through the majority of the afternoon. I am definitely curious to try their other meats if I end up visiting their actual butcher shop. Overall, the service was excellent considering I was at a busy outdoor event. The line moved quickly while the prices were quite reasonable, even these days where meat prices have become quite outrageous. With that said and done, I am giving the mobile food truck portion of "Fagundes Meats & Catering" an above average four stars. Hopefully I can make a future visit to their butcher shop in the coming months so stay tuned!
