She did her best to ensure we had a good experience while we waited by offering us a courtesy ride to a local restaurant. The gentleman who drove us has been here a long time. He's lovely. My wife and I are planning a cross country journey in our truck.. we stopped into a Just Tires to…read morehave them check our tire pressure etc. The guy there told us to put more air in than the manufacturer's suggested... and we trusted him, for no good reason other than he worked in a tire shop for crying out loud.. so we allowed him to do so. On further investigation - basically google lol- I determined that it was NOT a good idea... so I decided to drive down the road from where we're staying and happened upon Agoura Car Care. I pulled in and told the guy what I discovered and how our tires are now what I believed to be over-inflated. He agreed and said "no, you absolutely do not want to have them that far over the psi for your truck/tires.." and he proceeded to let out the right amount for us. I shared with him that we were about to embark on a cross country journey and he asked if anyone checked my spare? I told him that the other guy didn't even ask about it.. so without hesitation he popped down and slid under the truck and checked. 20psi. well below and he filled that up. THEN, he opened the hood and checked all the levels and oil. All looked good. However, he suggested that we grab some extra coolant just in case and told us the right kind to get. So we did. ;) A few things... 1. This man's name is Daniel. You just don't meet people like him very often in life in this day and age. 2. The shop was closing up and he went out of his way and he took the time to help us. 3. And did it with ease and a smile. He was genuinely happy to help without hesitation. And he didn't even know us. Thank you Daniel... you are a good man and we are so very appreciative of what you did for us. Go to this shop. There are good people there. Good, kind, honest, knowledgable and helpful people!

I scheduled a 9:00am appointment and was told it would take about 1-2 hours. When I dropped my car off, they said they would look it over and call me before doing any work. After two hours with no update, I called and was told they hadn't even looked at the car yet because a technician had quit and they were busy with emails. I understand things happen, however, if that was the case, I should have been called right away instead of having my entire morning wasted. It had been two hours and no one even looked at my car. On top of that, the communication was poor and the attitude on the phone as well as in person felt dismissive and unprofessional.

Pretty much everything about the experience there was so much better. The 40k mile service is basically a glorified oil change (oil change and new cabin air filter) I was a little early but was still checked in quickly and professionally by Tony prior to my actual appointment time. He clearly informed me of the work to be done and an approximate time it would be done. While waiting in the lounge a technician came in and gave me a spare set of keys he happened to have that fit my brand of roof rack mounts. That was unexpected but cool. The service was done quickly but the best part was that while checking out I was simply told that it was all green lights on my vehicle nothing additional was needed. I was honestly expecting a Jiffy Lube style full court press to add additional services. All in all, great experience.
