My moms Lexus got rear ended we had a very hard time finding a shop to do the repairs. Everywhere was booked out for months and had an extreme backlog on parts (nationwide issue). I had initially gone with another place but the turnaround time was a bit over 2 months! I needed my car fixed asap. When I went to DMA everything from start to finish was very prompt and the communication was great. The turn around time was no where near the 2 months like the other place. I researched and decided on DMA Solutionz since they had good reviews and was Veteran owned. I had a front fender repair. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The craftsmen work was fine however the communication was terrible.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would call weekly to find out the progress on my car after two weeks but always got voice mail.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Finally at the end of week three I spoke with someone and advised my car would be ready in a few days.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I then got a text there was an issue with the paint, some sort of chemical reaction and the car would not be ready for an additional week. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After follow up texts and not getting an answer I drove up there on a Thursday (week 5) and told my car would be ready Saturday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I got there on Saturday I was advised the wrong mirror had been ordered so I would have to come back for it to be installed. Oh, and there was a haze on my windshield so I texted and sent a picture asking what it was. No answer so I ended up getting it professionally cleaned at Green Valley tint. Stopped by the shop, the man in front desk gave me a friendly look as he was ready to help me. I explained my situation. Without any hesitation, he talked with a technician. Technician took a look of my cargo parts and the rooftop tracks. He was confident in his skills. In next an hour or so, I walked away with a happy face and ready to hit the road. The front office has a great hospitality- he kept. He checking with us as if we needed water and communicate with us as we are deaf customers. I will return back if anything arises. I'm disappointed because this place just seemed money hungry. My car had gotten vandalized with paint on the hood. I'm young and couldn't afford much. I called them and told them the situation and they said they can take a look at it. When I got there, they took a look at my car. I even started peeling the paint off... it seemed like some old paint that was easy to get off. I told them I just needed the paint off. They started speaking separately away from me which already gave me a red flag, knowing they were trying to see how much money they could probably get out of me because I'm young. Then they guy walks back over to me and says it'll be $1500... I said "just to use paint remover to get the paint off?" He said yes but they'd also need to paint over it after. I told him I wasn't looking for that, just some help with removing the paint! It didn't need to be a professional job. He didn't seem to want to service me... and told me it wasn't possible without paying $1500 and if I try to go anywhere else, they will charge me the same so I might as well accept that. I felt like he wasn't trying to help me at all just scam me of money. I told him no thanks and I went home and called my dad, whose a mechanic. He told me I should just get some paint remover and it should come right off. I went and bought $12 paint remover at Home Depot, and ALL THE PAINT CAME OFF!!!!! Without any damage to the car. These guys were t even looking to genuinely help you. They only want to take services that you insurance will pay them a lot of money. I'm sure they do a great job at their work but These guys were just trying to scam me and it's super disappointing. This has happened before if I go somewhere without my dad. So be careful going to these guys and make sure you get all your information down so they don't try to get more money out of you. read more
