A few tips for getting the most of your membership: *Know that inventory changes regularly; what you see today might look different in 2 weeks. The most successful users regularly check inventory to snag the best resorts! *Understand that Exchanges have better inventory than Certificates; check inventory on both to maximize the value of each. *Sometimes you might have to let a certificate expire if there is no inventory that aligns to your travel plans. *You can book using a certificate for someone else if you put them as a guest (fee or free guests depending on your membership level); example: Orlando always has a ton of availability for certificates; we almost always can find someone going to Orlando and will let them use the amazing certificate offer. 7 days for ~$399 is a fantastic price! *Be willing to book WAY in advance or very last minute as that is often the two windows with the best inventory. *As a member, you have access to Getaways, which are also well priced! Pros: Interval has a very very large inventory globally; you can go almost anywhere The prices are generally very competitive The majority of resorts offered are fantastic, but always do your research Interval always is upfront about pricing and fees. You must read thoroughly so you are not surprised about resorts fees, taxes, etc. Support is excellent. They are easy to reach (800 #) and the CSR's are patient, knowledgeable and friendly. Cons: The app and website is a bit dated and can be buggy. They have made some recent updates that have made it a little better. But you'll need some patience to navigate. The concept of depositing weeks, doing an exchange, using a certificate etc is not obvious; you will have to take the time to learn how it all works. It is not recommended for All Inclusive resorts: generally the price is higher than a bundle that includes airfare on another platform (like Cheap Caribbean). There are a few exceptions in Cancun where I found the price to be competitive. Overall, we have been very pleased with our experience with Interval. We have been able to travel to Hawaii, Austria, Cancun, Breckenridge, Lake Tahoe and dozens of other places using our membership. After our timeshare fees, membership fees, etc, the average price per night is $109. You can't touch a resort of this caliber for that price. So yes, definitely worth it!
