Biggest job he did for me was a top to bottom interior and exterior painting of a 3 story, 6 unit apartment building that I was renovating. Work involved lots of wall patching and prepping. Such a good person to work with with reasonable cost. Since I am a repeat customer, Joe is always available to assist me. As a first time customer, you may not have the same response - to be expected. Quality of his painters is amazing. They typically do not use masking tape, have the skill to work without masking tape which makes their painting more efficient. If you hire Joe, you should probably get a price quote to confirm that his prices are good and to be comfortable with the price. My sister also uses Joe and always insists on a price quote (she is a little anal compulsive). She pays more than I do, but likes the security of knowing what her cost is. Once you have worked with Joe for a bit, just let him do the work, you will not be disappointed. Honestly, I am reluctant to provide this post. Want to keep Joe readily available for myself. However, I do want his business to prosper. Mixed emotions.

When they encountered dry rot (and it was unfortunately widespread--out here in the Ingleside, we have to paint more frequently), they pointed it out, including up on the roof, updated the invoice, and fixed it. The place looks immeasurably better and is in much better shape. Rafael was great at communicating throughout and flexible, taking the time needed to get the work done right; he worked to ensure that the crew were neat; and when the crew missed something, he followed up to ensure it was fixed. He even threw in some caulking where it was needed around the kitchen sink. The job wasn't cheap, but the price was fair. I would definitely hire Rafael and the crew again.
