Always a great experience when I come to DN nails, I usually come to get their amazing pedicures but today I tried a manicure and they did amazing, I love their work and they are always very friendly.

Raw, bloody, painful nails that are misshapen with gel in the cuticle

As someone who never leaves reviews, I felt I had to for DN nails. I recently moved to the Naples area and was looking for a go-to nail salon. DN nails had excellent reviews, so I decided to give them a try. I went in with builder gel on my nails, and needed the old polish removed and a new builder gel color put on. I was told on the phone when making my appointment this would cost $65. A little pricey, but it's Naples so I understood. This experience easily became one of the worst manicures I have ever received. My nails are uneven, misshapen, there is polish all in my cuticles, and the worst part is that they filed the side of my nails down to a point where they were raw and bleeding when I left the salon. Photos included. My nails are now incredibly painful and will likely take days to heal the damage that was done from the file. In addition to all of this, when I went to check out, I was told it was going to be $85, because of "take off", instead of the $65 I was told on the phone, even though I had previously mentioned having builder gel on when arriving. So not only did they do a terrible job and cause me literal pain but they also took advantage of me in terms of cost. I understand that builder gel is a newer type of manicure. However, if you cannot do it PROPERLY then do not offer it to customers! As someone who has been getting consistent manicures every 2.5 weeks for the last several years, the condition of which they left my nails is honestly bizarre. When trying to find a salon in Naples, please make a different choice. There are plenty of options to choose from.

Here I am in Florida and I stub my big toe on a door jamb, cracking the nail down the middle. I thought a bandaid would be okay, but a huge chunk of nail came away exposing the tender nail bed. (Have I skeeved you out yet?) I turned to my Yelp community to find a nail salon and landed on DN Nails and Spa, a bonus .7 miles from my hotel with quality reviews and no manicure horror pictures or reviews like some other places. I called for an appointment the next morning and was pleased to get in so quickly. I'm glad I did, because this is a sparkling clean, attractive salon with lots of massage chair pedi stations and manicure stations aplenty. There is a large flatscreen (tuned to Fox News, it's Florida...) and pretty Vietnamese sculptures and decor. Although I was not getting polish (how weird would that look on this puzzle-piece toenail?) I looked over the large selection of lovely colors. My pedicurist, Nina, was remarkably careful and very gentle cleaning up the mess of my big toenail. She managed to clip away the remaining shards without me jumping from the chair and give the remaining nail some shape as well as cleaning up my nine other toes and my feet. Bottom line, I will visit this shop again in the near future. $28 for a basic pedi ($30 with polish and there's a $35 mani-pedi special) with a leg scrub and massage is a great deal.

Definitely the best experience, so relaxed and felt so pampered and well taken care of. Everything is so clean they pay attention to every detail to make sure you leave happy. I'm happy they are open 7 days a week and offer so many services in one place for men and women ,Nail care ,best spa pedicures ever with the most comfortable chairs to enjoy. They also offer Waxing, massages and so many options to choose from for a day spa .

I have tried many salons in the area over the years, but today I found a hidden gem. The customer service here is over the top! Super relaxing experience, and pricing is VERY fair. Got a French dip manicure, and it came out super cute, better than I could have expected!! Also want to comment on the cleanliness of this place. So many nail salons in the area fail to use clean supplies, yet this place is SO CLEAN!!! Sterile equipment that gives such a welcoming vibe. I'm so happy to have found this place.

My granddaughter got her nails done. By the end of the night that same day it had all come off. I called and they said they would give me a $40 credit for the next visit. When I went in they refused to give the credit after I got my nails done. Also, the place is dirty and smells. read more

My daughter treated me with a pedi and mani for my birthday. The environment was clean. Not enough workers. They kept accepting walk in. We had an appointment but it didn't matter. We waited with our feet soaking in the water. My daughter's pedicure chipped the next day, even though it was shellac. Very rushed French tip. They charged us $50 for pedicure and $20 for French tip. $70 and it chipped the next day. Poor quality and rushed job to serve more customers. My manicure started chipping off after 5 day read more

Save your money and time! They sneak in extra charges without your consent. I booked because I received a $10 coupon for a spa treatment, but my spa pedicure ended up costing $120 instead of the expected $70 (or $60 with the coupon). Here's the breakdown: $15 for cutting my nails $15 for metallic dust I never asked for $20 for gel polish I never requested $10 for an unknown charge When I confronted the owner about these unexpected charges, she reduced my total to $90, but I was still disappointed. The owner tried to blame a "language barrier," suggesting I might have misunderstood the services, but nothing was communicated to me at all. Very unprofessional! To top it off, they promised a discount for paying with cash, but that never happened either. Would not recommend! I would NEVER go here again. read more

Disappointing Experience. 50% of the time they do a great job. When they are good, they are very good, BUT when they are greedy the experience is extremely disappointing. I need to find another nail salon. Today, my appointment was scheduled for 10:30 AM. I wasn't even helped until after 11 AM. Then my daughter and I were getting a pedicure from one nail tech at the same time. Seriously? Walk-ins were helped before we were. Never got my massage. They asked to be paid before the service was completed. Now I know why. They never planned to provide the entire nail experience. It is not the fault of the nail techs. It is the fault of greedy management. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID!!! read more

Never in my life have I had a pedicure like I've had from D N Nails! I am so picky and I bounce around a lot looking for that perfect place. It's like I don't want to even tell you about them!!! We chose DN Nails since they had the highest ratings in the area. It took about 3 hours to get the basic pedicure and gel manicure. They did not do them at the same time so just be prepared to spend time there. They were very meticulous on the cuticles which was nice. There was no music or TVs on so it was pretty quiet. My gel manicure started chipping the next day.. unsure if there was enough top coat put on. Very nice people just not very organized and slow. read more

Since moving to SW Florida a year ago, I've been looking for the right nail salon that is friendly, clean and takes the time to get my nails done just the way I like them. I've been overjoyed with DN NAILS & SPA!! They do everything with excellence! Ginny is THE ABSOLUTE BEST nail technician I've ever worked with! She takes her time and is meticulous, which I greatly appreciate. AND.....as if that wasn't enough, they just recently installed high end massage chairs for their pedicure stations and ohmygracious! are they fantastic.... They even do your arms and hands so that just makes an already amazing pedicure just perfect! All of this.... As a former manicurist, I'm extremely hard to please, I like "perfect" nails, not thick, lumpy, filled crooked or sloppy polish. Daniel was fantastic, my nails were absolutely PERFECT. I can honestly say it's the best fill I've ever had! He's not only a perfectionist, but super nice and personable. I'm on vacation so my only regret is I'll have to settle for less than perfect when I'm home. He's truly the BEST! read more

Wow AMAZING nail salon. Jessie was amazing grand opening is 20% off. Place is new and clean. I paid $48 for the DN nail Pedi with gel polish, paraffin wax on heels, cooling leg mask, amazing 10minute leg and foot massage, a short but WONDERFUL neck and shoulder massage and came out with beautiful toes! This salon has 4 stars and I'm not sure why unless there is no expectation for a good pedicure in Naples? The owner is not very friendly and this is the sloppiest pedicure I've ever had. He did it very quickly, very sloppy missed spots, didn't even cover the tip of the nail with polish. I bet it will last a week at the most and anytime I questioned him on anything he was rude. read more

Love this place! I've tried almost every nail place in the north Naples/Bonita area and they all were terrible and over priced. Came to this place after another place cancelled my appt and this will be my new go to place! They were really attentive right from the second I walked in and did a great job on my nails. All were the same length (which is a common problem at other places I've gone to) and they were gentle and thorough. They were very fast too. I was out of there in less than an hour for a gel manicure. read more

There were two men there & the one who did my nails did a very good job not Too friendly until it was time to give a tip, that being said I rather have a good shellac manicure than a friendly person... When I left the other man seem to be the owner was very nice! I will go back especially since a shellac manicure is $30 & if you get a loyalty card / you can get a free manicure, although that would be the case if they are consistently good.... read more

I popped in one day because I had a special event and my regular salon couldn't fit me in to their schedule on short notice. I was extremely pleased with the quality of work (I received an acrylic fill-in) and also the cleanliness and decor of the DN Nails facility. The gentleman who did my fill-in was very friendly as well. I would definately recommend this nail salon. read more

Best nail salon I've found from Naples to Cape Coral in the past two years. Great prices, never rushed, and the paint job actually lasts (as it should when paying extra for gel!). They are so friendly, CLEAN and pay attention to detail (they go all the way to the cuticle). Love this place and worth the drive for me even coming from Estero. Very interesting experience I came in because I saw the $35 mani/pedi deal. Pedi was great. Loved the salon very nice and clean. When it was time to do mani he was very rude and dry. DN nails and spa is amazing! I was walking up and Daniel greeted me at the door with a friendly hello and a smile. I felt welcome right away, i told him that i had a horrible experience at a different salon and he took me in with open arms, and personally made sure that i was happy and comfortable. As i sat down i looked around and the place was so clean and the decor was beautiful. The time and effort that Daniel put in to fixing my nails is something i greatly appreciate. And his work is flawless!!! I am a very happy customer.This is now my regular salon i will go to. I have been using Daniel for my nails for nearly 10 years. I was thrilled when he opened his own salon with his wife Nina. They are sweet, gentle people and their salon is clean and spacious so you do not feel like you are sitting on top of the person next to you. When I want to give my little girls a special treat or a little extra sparkle at Christmas, I take them there for a nail trim and polish. They love it and is affordable at around $10.00 per child. I'll be back! I got a mani-pedi on July 4th and upgraded $10 for the spa treatment. My nails were done with perfection! It was a very enjoyable and relaxing experience. My feet, legs, arms, and hands are still very soft. Since it was the Holiday, I received the special treatment, in a quiet, relaxing place. Great price! Very clean place! I am on vacation from England and I needed my nails done after I had a terrible nail job done in Miami. The manager of DN Nails took off the old nail polish carefully and re-did them perfectly. I have never had such tidy nails! When I went it was quiet (around 1pm) on a Monday and they could see me straight away. Perfect 10/10. read more
