Mike told me that we need to be smart about it because the labor cost of removing the turbocharger, repairing it and putting it back it back was over one thousand dollars! On top of that repairing the problem related to the code doesn't guarantee the check engine light won't come back on! It also doesn't mean there might be another problem with the turbocharger. He offered that I can shop for a replacement turbocharger and he would do the same. I found a new OEM turbocharger for a good price and he installed it for me! He was incredibly efficient, finishing the oil/filter change and inspection within an hour. He also reset the check engine light and theorized that the light came on because the gas cap wasn't completely secure. This turned out to be true, because the light hasn't come back on in months! Additionally while inspecting the car, he noticed that our skid plate was only partially secured. He mentioned not having the part but could use a zip tie to prevent dragging. I'm glad to have found Hassan and plan to come by the next time we need an oil change or any car maintenance needs.
