Last few times (over 3) I went, I did not receive quality service. When I first found the spot, I thought I had finally found my place to unwind, I get the VIP pedicure & had such a VIP experience I was actually excited to get one of the real top tier pedis. But then, something took a turn & the last few have been so bad, no massage.. just barely rubbing lotion in. Once I even asked if the gal could put more pressure & she nodded yes happily but didn't. Most recently, I brought my daughter for her 8th Grade promotion, the tech she had was so rude to her. I hate when they treat teens like shit, my daughter is actually very respectful unlike most, plus my pedicure was garbage again. I also got a manicure that time, I am a mail carrier, I work on my feet and have carpal tunnel. I need the rejuvenation that the deluxe manicure and VIP pedicure markets but that's not the quality that's actually given. I went again today for convenience because they are near my house & I have plans but only got a basic pedicure because I can't justify spending VIP money for basic service. I've tried a few nail salons in the North Peoria/ Glendale area and have been disappointed every time. Unfortunately, it's hard to believe how many nail salons don't give the customer what they ask for or are extremely impersonal/ rude. I've finally found my home salon at TC Nails. Each and every staff member/technician is friendly, listens to what I want without question, and is competitively priced in comparison to other salons. Even from the initial phone call, the gentlemen was extremely friendly and informative. My first appointment was with Nicole, and we had a great conversation while she did my nails in RECORD time! My 2nd visit was just as great, as Brandy did exactly what I wanted, and was super punctual with my appointment time. I have found a new nail tech and am very pleased with her work! Upon arrival, Sinh sat with me to look at the nail design I wanted. I explained my desire for which nails to have which look, we chose colors, and I confirmed I wanted them all in matte finish. She took her time to meticulously perform my acrylic fill, taking note of specific locations where the previous tech (different shop) had left my acrylic thin and brittle. Sinh fixed all of the issues with ease, shaped my nails accordingly, and began to paint away. Everything you see was done freehand and I am very impressed! The owner did make mention that my stonework may not stick on the matte finish as well as they would on gloss; however, I have had my nails stoned before on a matte finish and they stayed in place for a month, so I was willing to take the risk I'm happy and will certainly be back with my next fun design. read more

I don't complain about anything. I went in there to get my nails filled less than a week ago. The owner of the nail salon was extremely rude to his customers while I was in there but i kept to myself because I wasn't personally dealing with him. After leaving the salon I looked closer at my nails and you can see the old growth of my nails under the fill. I called to see if I could go in to get them fixed and the owner was extremely rude on the phone. I didn't mind having to wait until a later time to come in, it was the way he talks down to you like his staff did nothing wrong. Then he continues to send me a rude text message. I would not recommend this place as a walk in or call ahead. I called and asked if they had availability for two pedicures in about 15 min they said yeah come on in. So we came..waited an hour to finally be seen then the four people they did have available on staff started on one person I had reserved for and three other people who "had appointments" I know as a walk in you are waiting BUT I did call ahead and ask. If there wasn't availability then just say that and I would have called the other four places close by me. The only reason I stayed was because my mom had a wedding to go to or I would have walked the fuck out. Honestly this was the worst experience I've had getting my nails done. I got a full set today, the nail tech seriously seemed so rushed (he did a full set in 25 minutes) and unhappy. He cut my skin, my cuticles were burning and the shape is terrible. I would not recommend and won't be coming back. read more
