I am also black, have also been followed in stores for no reason, and absolutely have no time for those exhausting games. But this is the closest crystal shop near me. So I went, expecting to deal with nonsense. Spoiler alert: no nonsense in sight....at all..?! First of all, I was trying to figure out *how* one could be followed around when the entire store is open concept. There would be no logical reason or way to follow anyone around when the entire store can be seen from a central location (the register). The reviewer's claim is illogical given the space, which leads me to believe it didn't occur exactly in that way. And that's just the logistics haha, the staff was perfectly fine and one of them was black too. She came up to me once, which was normal. I think I would've been offended if they pretended they didn't see me in the store and no one offered any help haha. I'll be back. They have a great selection of all kinds (books, crystals, incense, jewelry, etc)

They are both so friendly and welcoming! After just one visit I was greeted by name every time after that! They have about 10 different teachers although I have not had a chance to take classes with all of them. But two of my favorites are Betsy and BeAnne. They have two completely different styles of teaching but both are fun and challenging! The studio is very clean and has natural light from the many windows. The best part is that they have mats, blankets, bolsters, blocks, everything you need for class all to use free of charge! My only complaint is that they don't have a place to refill water bottles. Yes, they have the bathroom sink and they sell dasani water but I would really like a water fountain or any filtered water area outside of the bathroom. In the large scheme of things this isn't a make it or break it thing buuuuut I figured I would mention it :) Overall this is a great studio and I've already bought a class package as I will be a frequent customer!

I was introduced to Svaroopa yoga here and definitely became a fan. I have also taken Hatha with Kim and she is a great teacher as well. They are welcoming to people of all levels and abilities so don't feel intimidated if it is your first time taking yoga. I've taken class with men & women in their 60's to high school boys who were taking Hatha as an addition to the training regimen. Plus, if you are in the Roswell/Alpharetta area the location is great - downtown Roswell with plenty of parking.

She walked around during the class to help with form and technique, in addition to instructing from the front, and knew everyone by name - even me! It's really easy to spot the location as you approach the shopping plaza from the south, and it took me less than 5 minutes to get here from I-285. The studio is nicely decorated, giving a comfy, welcoming feeling when you enter. This is in stark contrast to some studios I've gone to that are basic and drab. There is only space for one class at a time, but the floor is huge! I'm thinking there would be more than enough room for a class of 30 people. There are barres (the portable kind) for hosting ballet classes, and weights of all sizes for fitness classes. The floor is kind of slippery, so if you tend to dance barefoot a lot and have soft feet (like me - definitely slipped a couple times lol) I'd suggest to at least wear some jazz footies with a grip bottom. There is ample cubbie space to store your belongings during class. There's even a good amount of waiting room for parents if you're looking to hold a class for children. Also there is a dressing room in addition to one unisex bathroom. On my way out, I spoke to the owner who was extremely friendly and mentioned that the studio has several time slots open for rentals at the moment. Dance instructors - check this place out!

After some quick waiver signing & paperwork, I joined the 6:30p class where Matt was coaching. Matt was extremely attentive. He gave very specific cues and tailored his coaching based on the athlete's abilities. He remembered my name during the whole class, thanked me for dropping in, and made sure to tell me "Good Job" as well as a Good Bye. I am an experienced crossfitter, and I did appreciate that he watched my form and didn't just comment to make a comment. He was very purposeful without being over bearing. He gave me encouragement as the workout got tougher, and was paying attention enough to know my pace & to know how many more I could get in before the time cap. The workout was extremely challenging and definitely appropriate for all levels. There was a class warm up and some mobility work, which is always welcomed, especially after traveling & sitting all day. I found the amount of work (warmup, mobility, strength, WOD) to be extremely mindful of time & effectiveness. Things weren't just crammed in to fit in. The flow of the class was smooth and not over worked. I did purchase a FitAid & a Progenex Recovery packet and the check out process for that was fast. The facility was extremely clean and well maintained. The restrooms were clean, water was cold, rollers were available, lots of weights and 15kg bars, and there was lots of chalk available. Although I didn't use the showers, I was told there were 3. They use WODify and the WOD was posted on a large TV. There was a traditional whiteboard with LOTS of goals and you could tell it is a dynamic box. Members were conversing before and after which is always a good sign of a robust community. I would highly recommend this box for drop ins or even if you are new to Crossfit. I can see why they won the best of Atlanta award and I will definitely return when I am back in town.

These well trained instructors are very good--Katie is funny which sometimes easiest the pain. Although I miss the cardio reformer class on Sunday (Megan another favorite instructor), I've come to grips that things are different. I love this studio be it in person or in the Matrix. Thank goodness my pelvic floor nudge me to continue with Stability.
