Chicken Kebabs
Greg P.

This place was soooooo good. Went for dinner on a Saturday night and it was delicious. The servers were also very good. Repeatedly checked on us. Manager as well. Cool location. Would definitely return. For appetizers tried the candied bacon, the angry meatball and the teriyaki wings. Would absolutely recommend the bacon and wings. The meatball was like a meatloaf but still good with the garlic bread. For entrees we had the buttermilk chicken, my son had a burger, and his mom had the chicken kabob. My son likes his burger plain but they added cheese. The manager immediately apologized, got him another and took it off the bill. We didn't even complain. Just asked for another one fully expecting to pay. Just too notch treatment. Everything was super delicious. Great experience here. We sat inside but the outdoor looked very comfortable also. Not too loud. There's a huge bar to sit at. When I get back to Austin they will be on my list again.

We are coming in from San Antonio and had a whole weekend planned out starting with this place. First, due to heavy traffic we were 30 mins behind schedule, we called and they made sure that our reservation will still stand. The staff was extremely sweet and friendly! We came in super hungry and we ordered the candied bacon, angry meatball and wings for starters. Everything was very tasty! We also ordered the chicken kebabs which chicken was very tender (although the entire meal needed a bit more salt) we also got the friend chicken and this chicken was just soooo juicy! And for my kid, a plain burger, meant bad bun only.. unfortunately it came with cheese and we politely reminded them it should have been plain and dry.. the manager immediately took action and soon a new burger appeared.. he was gracious enough to take care of the burger himself as well, which was definitely not expected by 100% appreciated! Overall will definitely be back next time we are in town!

For a chain restaurant, this place is awesome! The quality of food and cocktails are spot on. Simple food done right. The skillet Mac n cheese ranks on top 5 I've had out in a restaurant. The "beetle juice" cocktail is so refreshing. Espresso martini A+++!!!! The chimichurri steak (filet) Melted in my mouth. Our service was flawless.

Fancy casual? Upscale chill? It's hard to describe but overall, I'd say it's a special occasion place that isn't stuffy. You'll certainly pay for it, but at least you're getting high-quality food and drinks. I absolutely adore the grilled artichokes, which don't need the tartar sauce because they're already so rich and flavorful, but it kills me that it's $20 for a starter with 4 trimmed halves. The guacamole with sweet potato chips is also superlative, and reasonably substantial in terms of portion size and satiation. For the best value, definitely hit up the lunch menu, where you can get a "wok out" bowl with tofu; a highly competent vegan option. I only go once every year or two, but service is always on point and I never walk away unhappy with my meal. Just make sure you have the budget for it!

So much yum! Brussels sprouts were a total hit for the appetizer. My California salad with crispy chicken was a dream. I hope to recreate this salad at home - so tasty! Server was polite and friendly. We scored a corner booth which was cozy and great for hearing everyone around the table.

Fall off the Bone Danish BBQ Ribs with coleslaw that was extremely tasty!
Tammie B.

The ribs were very good, the coleslaw wasn't the normal run of the mill side and was excellent. I addition of kale in the slaw went great with the dressing. The Mac and Cheese starter was ok but nothing special. I'm an Espresso Martini lover and I have to say the Iced Espresso Martini was delicious. Our server Cooper was very attentive and knowledgeable. The dining area was very clean and had cool art on the walls. I would definitely eat here again!

Doc B's has been outstanding lately. Everything was so tasty and well balanced. The staff is very pleasant and does a great job as far as service goes. 10/10 recommend coming here and trying my favorite plate the chicken kebabs I personally substitute the rice on the and get jalapeno potatoes but there is nothing wrong with the rice everything is well executed. Any of the pizzas and the chimichurri chicken wings paired together is a good sharing option in my experience. Our favorite appetizer is simply the guacamole with sweet potato chips ,it's refreshing and not overly filling so you can still enjoy your entree. The restaurant ambience is a little loud because it's always packed and there is an option to sit outside but I personally like being inside because you get a little better attention from the servers. Everting is clean and well kept and the drinks here are very good. You will never leave hungry and there really isn't anything I wouldn't recommend trying. I can say that the prices are comparable to anything else in the domain but you get great quality for what you pay at Doc B's . Don't let all the variety at the domain hold you back from coming here it's a solid choice and I've been to every restaurant here. I'd say top5 for sure. Parking is a bit of a nuisance like most places here so be ready to walk if you have too.

Oven Roasted Chicken Wings Crispy Jalapeno Potatoes crazy beautiful(cocktail), everything was good.
Shashikala P.

We almost go at-least twice a month to Doc B's, as my son loves it, and it's one of those place in domain that is our family favorite too. Ambiance is good, we mostly sit outdoors, service is always great, last two times Evan took care of us, and he's awesome. We don't eat anything with beef or pork, and in Doc Bs, even with that restriction they have so many options, especially with chicken, cocktails are bit pricey, but it's same in all the places in Domain, but they are solid, my go to drinks are Beverly Hills martini, crazy beautiful and the internal affairs. Hubby usually gets done local drafts. Food: my son loves habanero honey glazed fried chicken with jalapeño potatoes. I like naked chicken wings(Thai sweet and spicy sauce on the side), or chicken kebab, which I usually have leftovers almost always. Hubby likes there , the number six sandwich. Their kungpao Brussel sprouts are addictive(but it's not a regular thing). And even though we have been here N number of times, we are always so full and never make it to dessert, but this time had decided to try dessert, hubby and me shared house made Oreo ice cream, I love love ice cream and there Oreo ice cream is one of the best Oreo ice cream I've ever had, and that warm not too sweet chocolate sauce was just perfect. Thank-you Doc B's for another amazing meal

At the domain for the day and needed a late lunch. Been here several times and never disappoints. Nice atmosphere and we had an amazing server. Had kung pao brussel sprouts to start and they were delicious. Group had knife and fork Cobb and a barbecue chicken salad. Group loved our meals.

Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Grilled Salmon Wok Out Bowl, Iron Skillet Mac & Cheese

This place surprised me. We were thinking of eating at some other place but the other place looked really pack so we ended up here. I didn't have high expectations but the food was delicious. We ordered the mac and cheese, fried chicken, and salmon wok bowl with lo mein. Everything was delicious and we were stuffed. All of our food came out fast and we were done eating in an hour. Our server was nice and this place is kid friendly. Overall, I'd come back here again if we are in the area.

Wedge Burger with side of Sweet Potato Fries

Doc B's is in the Domain. It's near the Nordstrom. We wondered in because we were hungry for lunch. The bathrooms have an interesting red glowing ambiance. The menu is two sided: solids on one side, and liquids on the other. We asked the staff member who was assisting our table which items were gluten-free. He pointed out which ones were, and also mentioned many of them could be made so. Food came 15-20 minutes after ordering. Service was not particularly slow, nor speedy. I ended up getting the Wedge Burger with a side of sweet potato fries. Wifey got the Mediterranean Shrimp Salad. The burger was a pleasant juicy combination, and filling. The sweet potato fries were sprinkled generously with salt. The salad was refreshing with large, crisp shrimp. When paying, there seemed to be a little hiccup with their payment system. The staff member had difficulty loading the check for our table. There also seemed to be a QR code for paying too, though. Five minutes later though, the issue was straightened out. I can imagine returning here for another meal.

Came here for dinner with my coworkers. We got seated at the outside patio on a nice warm night. Great place to get good food and socialize. Service was excellent! The servers were very nice and attentive getting us drinks and food. We got a bunch of appetizers, chicken wings and sweet potato chips and this was different but we also got sweet bacon strips. I'm not actually a big bacon fan but these were delicious. For my main entree, I got the salmon with Kale mix and it was very tasty. I also got an espresso martini which they made super strong so I actually only took a few sips since I'm a lightweight and it was already hitting me. Prices weren't bad.

Be sure to stop by Doc B's Restaurant whenever you visit the Domain. It is elegantly laid out with both indoor and outdoor seating. The tables are large for bigger groups. The outdoor seating is covered, providing some shade during the hot days of summer. There is also a large bar located inside. It has happy hour from 5 to 7 pm and offers some good discounts particularly on the wine. Doc B's takes reservations and it can get crowded. We did have reservations and was given a table within a minute or two upon arrival. Our server came next to take our drink order and to answer our questions. He was an excellent server. I ordered a Love Street Draft Beer and a Mediterranean Salad with shrimp. The beer was cold and good, especially on a hot day! My salad was also very good the shrimp were large and there were at least 5 or 6 of them. The other ingredients were fresh and crisp. We had a nice time and we're never rushed. Thank you Doc B's!

From the moment we sat down, the service set a phenomenal tone for the meal. Our server, Avery, genuinely took the time to ask what we were interested in, thoughtfully guiding us through the menu with recommendations that were, frankly, unbelievable. Every single suggestion was spot-on. As for the food, every dish that arrived at the table was a masterpiece: The Brunch Plate: A beautifully classic, elevated breakfast. The sunny-side-up eggs were cooked to absolute perfection, seasoned with a light touch of pepper and spice. Paired with perfectly golden, crispy hash browns, savory sausage, thick-cut toast, and a rich fruit compote, it was a flawless, hearty start to the day. The Beet & Citrus Salad: A vibrant, refreshing standout. The earthy depth of roasted red and golden beets paired wonderfully with bright, juicy citrus segments, creamy crumbled cheese, and fresh greens. It was beautifully balanced, incredibly fresh, and a perfect contrast of textures. The Pesto Pasta: Absolutely spectacular. The pasta shape held onto the rich, flavorful pesto sauce perfectly, which was tossed with fresh spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, and tender chicken, all finished with a generous dusting of parmesan. It was savory, comforting, and packed with bright, fresh flavor. Between the flawless, attentive service and the phenomenal quality of the kitchen, they made this Father's Day incredibly memorable. We will absolutely be back!

The chicken fried steak was thick and tender. It had breading but the breading did not take over the entree. The mashed potatoes so nice and fluffy. The ribeye was perfectly cooked at medium rare and the asparagus was the perfect size. Our table was brought a wonderful croissant bread pudding! A treat for the taste buds! Vida Verde Kitchen -- A Hidden Gem That's Worth Finding…read more Austin is overflowing with trendy restaurants where the food is decent, the lighting is aggressive, and the wait time requires a light snack and a personality shift. I tend to avoid those places. Vida Verde Kitchen, thankfully, is not that. Tucked into a great area but slightly hidden (the kind of spot you feel proud to "discover"), Vida Verde feels like a restaurant that exists for people who actually want to eat, not just post. The menu is a thoughtful fusion of Tex-Mex, fresh flavors, and Americana--familiar enough to be comforting, but creative enough to keep things interesting. Yes, it's a bit overpriced, but the food earns its confidence. The guacamole is an absolute must, and anything leaning Tex-Mex is consistently solid. I can vouch. The wait staff deserves real credit here--knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in the food and experience, which goes a long way these days. The atmosphere hits that Austin sweet spot: industrial touches softened by lush green foliage. It's stylish without trying too hard, which is rare and appreciated. If I had one note? This place needs a happy hour and a few more solid specials. Do that, and Vida Verde becomes dangerous--in the best way.
