They have happy hour seven days a week (3 to 6), food & drink. On the upscale side, but good for kids or picky eaters. Service was great. Food was filling but not too heavy.

Large party and the service was great. Took a little bit long to be seated but other than that, great time with the ability to have family style dinner with our group- still thinking about the lamb ragu.

I only come here with friends who haven't tried it and insist on it. I've now dined here at least six times in the past few months that I can honestly say... I wish I loved the food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What I do love is the ambiance, the decor, the wonderful service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But the food? Sadly, average. Especially disappointing at this price point. Maybe it's the business-first owners, maybe it's a lack of passion, but their pasta is subpar. The spicy red sauce is not flavorful. I even asked for "extra garlic" this time to try to kick it up somehow. Nope, still boring as a jar of Prego sauce. The bread is also average. The salad is okay, just nothing creative. The whole menu seems like it's playing it safe and can't bother to bother. Tastes like a large restaurant chain even though it isn't. I wish they reinvented their menu AND their approach, since they have a lovely location, fun atmosphere and attentive staff. Sigh. I'll end on a high note: my coffee was excellent.

Juliet is consistently just "meh" to me. It feels a bit over priced for pretty run of the mill mediocre food. The service is always decent, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the building is very cutesy inside and out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So it does score some points for that. I just don't ever get impressed by the food.

Came here for a group dinner. The server and supporting staff were very friendly. There is a wide variety of food from pizzas to pastas to seafood. I had the butternut squash ravioli. They were more like dumplings with butternut squash paste inside. It was OK. I probably should have gotten a pizza. The restaurant is good for casual group dinners as they split the bill and there's ample parking. I'm not sure I would plan an event here but if there's another group dinner, I wouldn't be opposed to going because the service was friendly and the restaurant is convenient for groups.

Maria came to the table with smiles and absolutely kindness. I arrived on the later end of brunch. I ordered the Bolognese and a side of scrambled eggs. It was edible. A bit unseasoned for me. So, I asked for salt & pepper to rescue me from the blandness of this meal. Decent side portion. Garlic bread was delicious. Other than that...This was my second visit to Juliet and I think I like this spot better for dinner, not so much brunch.

We'd been eyeing this place for years. Finally we made our way over. We had a kind of weird experience starting off - the restaurant seemed to be empty but the hostess was adamant about seating us at the bar. We agreed to wait there until a table became available outside, but she still insisted that we sit at the bar. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Eventually, we moved to the outside area that was technically still managed by the bartenders, which wasn't a problem, but we felt unsure about why we weren't sat in a more common area where other people were sitting. There were def open spaces.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the frozé, the frozen espresso martini, a gin and tonic and a queen margherita. All were delicious. For food we ordered the lobster arancini and the pepperoni sausage mushroom pizza - very fresh, and everything came out very fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Aside from that awkward seating thing, everything else was great. The guys tending the bar were awesome. Food and drinks were awesome. The space is beautiful. We will be back![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Finally got to try Juliet Italian Kitchen where did not know there was a North Austin location. This restaurant was classy with top notch service and the food was amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor was modern Italian.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu had some great choices so for lunch selected the Pasta Primavera. It was an unexpected take on this dish where at first looked like three enchiladas but was pasta wrapped around wonderful filling that was mouth watering with nice flavor. The bread that was on top was the best I had in a while where was so soft and fluffy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I you are looking for a place for a romantic setting or business get-together then this place is perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I met a business colleague for lunch at Juliet's Italian Kitchen in the Arboretum shopping center. The restaurant has traditional Italian food with an updated flare. We both ordered the Cesar salad. It was bit heavy on the Cesar dressing. I ordered chicken piccata (chicken breast with wine caper sauce), spinach and polenta and my colleague ordered mushroom manicotti. The manicotti came with Italian bread, which I am told was delicious. My chicken piccata was perfectly cooked...slight crisp on the outside and super tender inside. The spinach and polenta were equally good. While we did not have any drinks at lunch, you can see from the bar an extensive collection of spirits, and their wine room which had a broad selection of wine choices. Our server was helpful and attentive. Our food was delivered fast and steaming hot, which was greatly appreciated. Juliet's features both indoor and outdoor seating on its spacious patio. The vibe of the restaurant is modern sophistication. Whether you are coming for lunch or dinner meeting, date night, group meeting (enclosed portion of the restaurant) or a meet up, Juliet's excels in its Italian culinary skills, and distinctive service.

Hey cousins lean in! I have visited this location twice this year. The first time was for a Valentines and the second was to celebrate a good friend's birthday. Reservations were quite easy. I came to the up app and follow the instructions. The option to sit outside on the patio with live jazz. Music was definitely going to be a vibe, so I made a reservation for four. Seating and reservations were quite accommodating One of the favorite items in this location are the photos on the wall and the beautiful glass wine cellar. I am not necessarily a wine person that knows anything other than the beauty of it. We did order a wine for my friends birthday, along with several hors d'oeuvres and individual plates. We listen to the jazz music, did a lot of catching up And bugged "Shay D" our waiter who took great care of us. When things aren't on the menu just know that you're at an Italian establishment and they can make it for you. At least that is the way our waiter made me feel. After helping in accommodating all of our request, our waiter brought out a nice dessert to celebrate our friends birthday. By this time, the jazz players had already left, and the restaurant on the patio area was pretty empty. We took an opportunity to do some photos, place some music, and just laugh and dance. my friend had an amazing time and our go bags were quite yummy. Thank you, Shay D for your assistance and helping us have a great celebration, and thank you Juliet for a great experience

Highly recommend the lasagna! Our waitress had great recommendations and she told me to go with the lasagna and meat sauce which was a great choice! The portion size was massive! And I loved the ricotta cheese! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was really nice with dim lighting, and had a traditional Italian feel[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Bland pasta, lifeless pizza, and zero fresh flavor -- Juliet's Kitchen (Arboretum) was a total miss from first bite to last. Came in expecting fresh, flavorful Italian food... left seriously disappointed. We ordered pasta, pizza, and drinks -- every dish was bland, flat, and tasted like it was made with low-quality or not-so-fresh ingredients. The pasta sauces had no flavor, the pizza cheese and toppings lacked any freshness, and nothing stood out as worth coming back for. My manicotti pasta looked nothing like the one pictured in another review here on yelp. The chicken picotta was rubbery chewy. Disgusting taste overall. Our server was friendly and pleasant, but the food was the main event -- and it missed the mark completely. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience is okay, but with no music or energy in the room, it felt lifeless.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For the prices and the promise of "Italian," this was a let-down from start to finish. (Minor thing - but also of note that I noted in my reservation that we were celebrating a birthday. We went in and stated that again, yet no one acknowledged the special occasion -- not even a simple "happy birthday" by the receiver or hostess, that's super odd etiquette for a so called nice restaurant).

If you're seated near the opening, the sun comes straight in no matter what. It gets extremely loud--so loud we couldn't hear our waiter explain the menu. Large groups (8-10 people) made it even worse. Add in the heat (on a mild Austin day, no less), and it's just uncomfortable. Service was poor. Our waiter was friendly but clearly overwhelmed with too many tables. We couldn't get his attention when we needed him. Bussers were no help--they dropped items and rushed back inside, ignoring attempts to flag them down. We accidentally ordered two "family-style" salads because no one explained it. That pretty much sums up the service: rushed, unclear, and inattentive. If you need anything--water, utensils, clarification--you have to interrupt them mid-drop-off or you won't get it. The prices don't match the experience. Food was decent, but portions and sides were disappointing. We got four tortillas for four people and couldn't get more. My steak had a great sauce but nothing to eat it with--no rice, no beans, nothing. For the price, that's ridiculous. Parking is also a hassle. Very little self-parking, and valet is pushed hard. The most frustrating part? As we left, there was plenty of staff standing around inside. Meanwhile, the patio--where service actually needed help--was understaffed and chaotic. Bottom line: overpriced, loud, hot, and poorly managed. Sit inside if you go, or skip it altogether, again the prices don't match the service !

There's no food offering, yet the environment feels designed for daytime dining rather than an evening bar experience. From a design and hospitality standpoint, it's difficult to understand how this made it to opening in its current state. Even a VERY basic understanding of lighting and ambiance would suggest this setup is fundamentally mismatched--ESPECIALLY for something like a date night. No coffee bean decorations on top, but full of flavor. No cream inside...sort of reminding you of a Black Russian. Served in a ribbed coupe glass. Round two: French 75s with Hendrick's. Punchy lemon flavor, a tad sweet, lower champagne notes but still giving French 75. Garnished with a dried lime slice instead of a lemon. Served elegant in those ribbed coupe glasses (which fit the aesthetic perfectly). The cocktails are well-crafted and intentional. They aren't overly boozy, but they are balanced, smooth and polished. Bathrooms? Immaculate. Unisex. Private stall rooms with their own individual doors. Efficient and modern. No long lines. Opportunity to mingle with the opposite sex in the bathroom if that suits your fancy. Foxtail feels like a good place to start a new chapter. We had good conversations and we enjoyed staying out just a little longer than we planned. Their Happy Hour (4:30-6pm weekdays) is officially on my radar for the future. I'll be back. I want this place to be routine. 9 out of 10.

A good friend and her friend hosted their milestone birthday celebrations here last week and we had…read moreso much fun!! What a great location to host an event. The staff were amazing, the drinks were delicious, the band was awesome, and the snacks they provided were yummy...especially the fries! She and her friend had the area reserved from 5 to 7pm ish. The theme was jazz so folks were dressed up in sequins and shiny outfits. They provided snacks and two cocktails per guest by using golden tickets. Loved how there was a performance to making some of the drinks (got a video of one). We were informed ahead of time to make a reservation at 7:30 pm so we could sit in the main area and continue the celebration with more food, drink, and listen to jazz music by a very cool band. I am sure I will find myself at Foxtail again for a future event or just a quick hang out with friends.
