I got a very basic French tip acrylic set. As I was getting the set it didn't really feel right. Now I'm sitting here soaking my hands in acetone in order to get the nails off because one they are in so much pain and two they looked like so weird??? Would never waste a penny here again. The man that did my dip manicure was rude, cut 2 of my fingers because he was so rough on my cuticles. They were bumpy, uneven and peeling in less than 1 week. Well, worst nail salon experience I've ever had. I made an appointment here because my usual place was booked the whole weekend. Walked in and had a man named Bob, I think. He was rough with my hands and straight up told me he wouldn't allow me go to shorter with the extension so I was left with a length I didn't want and wasn't comfortable with. Then he proceeded to play an action movie on the tv and then talk about how he didn't know how anyone could relax, I definitely wasn't relaxed at all. Paid what I would pay anywhere else but the quality was awful. Looked great from afar but got cut multiple times by the dremal. There's obviously issues with the nails and they are bumpy. Never coming back for dip powder nails. read more

Although I do not live in Arizona, I actually come here EVERY time that I visit. I like the hospitality and service..Most importantly, I really like their gel styles. I usually get a new gel color with acrylic fills in addition to the pedicure. Weekends are usually packed so I stay away from those times, but always make an appointment to ensure your spot. But I've seen people wait and it's not that long, since the staff is usually pretty good with timing. Also I've had done a leg waxing here, very cool! The facilities are very clean and the service I find to be extremely top rate. (NYC salons do not have that type of 'feel good' customer experience, for some reason) read more

I have only used DOC nails for my pedicures. I was very pleased with the service and the staff. Each time the always check the water temp before asking me to step in the foot bath. My favorite part is the foot and leg rub.. The location is very clean and relaxing. Prices are pretty affordable as well. Thank you thank you thank you for fixing my horribly done nails!! I previously went to nail 8000 in Mesa and the nail tech did an awful job and cut every single finger! A week after I had my nails done there my nails began to peel and fall off. I am oh so glad I came here. I was immediately greeted by a friendly woman(didn't catch her name). Yikes. I went here because the nail salon I was going to go to had a power outage. Mistake. First, the gel color selection is meager, which okay whatever, I'll work with what I got. When I sat down the guy doing my nails was super rushed (no, it wasn't busy) to the point where he was using the drill on my acrylics and he would lose control and it would roll around to the pads of my fingers and ever cut my cuticle at one point. When another woman came in for a pedicure he then took the implements he had used on me and put them on the pedicure station. Who needs disinfection right? I hope state board sees this. When it came time to polish my nails, the gel was so "wrinkled" looking and the nail tech just told me it would even out with top coat and yeah, it feels even but you can still see the wrinkles underneath. 3 days later, my nails are peeling and guess what's underneath? Gel polish that is still wet from not being cured properly. THREE DAYS! Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. read more

The shop is clean, they do good work, they charge affordable prices, and they speak English while working on your nails - not a deal breaker, but a nice change from most nail salons. I would give less than 1 star if I could. I walked in there on 6/24/16 since I was in the neighborhood and didn't want to drive out to my normal salon in Tempe and spend upwards of $100 regularly. I was greeted when I walked in and I told them I was looking for a fill and a pedicure. I stood around for about 10 minutes while the guy who was supposed to do my fingers tried to figure out what the owner meant when she told him to do both at the same time. While I was waiting I looked at the CD cases of intricate designs and different gel polish colors. I decided on a few colors and thought it would be best if I just did a simple chevron design on 2 of my fingers with the rest solid colors and a French tip on my toes. The guy who was working on my fingers cut me multiple times with the grinder, barely listened when I told him to please maintain the almond/pointy shape of my nails and just shorten them a tiny bit. NONE of my nails are the same length and none are even close to the same shape - not even on the same hand, let alone the same finger on the opposite hand. Not only that, he had to call over another girl to help him with my other hand. He asked her to do my left hand while he did my right. With the two of them working on opposite hands there was no way symmetry was going to be obtained. I mentioned it and they ignored me and continued on doing piss poor jobs on both hands. Apparently straight lines are difficult for the man. But that's not entirely surprising - he and the lady doing my toes conversed the whole time, admittedly in English which was surprising, but she asked him about his health/blood pressure and stuff and he said it was under control and she asked him if he still drank and stuff and he said yes, every day. She said something along the lines of - doesn't that make you an alcoholic then? He simply stated, no, alcoholics go to meetings; I'M a "Professional Drinker." Trust me, in the non-straight, non-symmetrical lines on my nails, it shows. As for the lady who did my toes, she ground off the top layer of the gel polish then attempted to soak off the rest of it using acetone, a cotton ball and tin foil. It didn't work, so she used a nail file to attempt to file the rest of it down. She wholeheartedly abused the cuticles on my toes and very painfully pushed them down without allowing my feet to soak in the water first, nor applying any sort of oils or anything. She applied "callous remover" to a pumice tool and scrubbed the soles of my feet, but didn't actually remove any dead skin - it's still there. She put lotion on my legs and a hot towel, and I guess she attempted to massage my feet, but all she really did was pull on my toes and more or less tickle my feet and acted as if she didn't speak English when I asked her to actually apply pressure. They charged me $80 without showing me the breakdown, and like an idiot I paid even though I really didn't like the way I was treated nor the way anything looked. By Saturday night, my thumbnail polish was chipping, as well as the polish on all of my toes. I paid extra for gel polish on every single nail, and they baked both my fingers and toes and because of the poor quality of their work, they began chipping immediately - which I've never had happen at any nail place I'd ever been to before. It always takes at least a month before things start chipping/breaking or simply growing out too much. I have attempted to rectify this with the owner of the salon by voicing my concerns and plainly asking for a refund, I told her I didn't trust any of them to actually be able to do a good job and that I would just like my money back. She stated that apparently she doesn't give money back - that even though I didn't like the way stuff was done she could redo the polish for me personally. I repeated myself saying that I don't trust even her to do my nails wel According to her it's store policy for no refunds - I saw no such sign as I was in there having instantaneous buyer's remorse - trust me, I looked. It seems to me that she's probably had this sort of experience in the past where she's lost money because her employees are terrible at their jobs. I, for one, will never go back. I will never recommend any of my friends to spend their money there, and if you are a random person reading this, I suggest you don't spend money there either. Unless you enjoy getting your nails done by a self-proclaimed "professional drinker," someone who can't even do a basic French tip right, an owner that will always look for ways to take your money, and the entire staff that refers to a client as "Black Veronica," (yes, she is actually black), then by all means, go, waste your money on subpar services. Her refusing to give me back my money will be to her detriment. I intend to speak negatively about her poor customer service, skill set and employees on as many outlets as possible. On a final note - if my review was TLDR, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT! read more

So excited to find a great place to get a pedicure. I got a pedicure and my daughter got a mani-pedi. This is the best place we've ever been. The salon is clean, nail technicians are very friendly and the pedicure was the best ever. Toenails were trimmed unevenly, cuticles were not cleaned up, polish was applied unevenly and streaky(didn't even last 3 days), toenails were not cleaned up. No massage. No lotion...nothing.
