I wear my nails all natural and was looking to get them buffed up in preparation for my engagement. If you're getting acrylics this place is probably great, but despite bringing a reference photo and coming with my nails long so that they could be shaped into anything, the technician essentially butchered my nails -- fingers and toes. She didn't buff the ridges off like I asked her to multiple times and her idea of shaping was literally just cutting off the entirety of the whites on my toenails. For my fingernails, she chopped almost all of the whites off claiming she was "making them even" then cut the sides into a truncated coffin shape (coffin only looks good on long nails, and my reference photo was not a coffin shape!). She left them Jagged and Uneven, even after I asked multiple times for them to be filed down or corrected because of how insanely sharp they were. I work with children and nails that sharp could cause injuries. I could have done a way better job at home and should have saved myself the money, but I was really hoping they'd be able to do something extra perfect for my big day. Instead, my nails look like I asked an 11-year-old to just chop real quick -- anything but professional. Also: Fragments of the edges of my toenails that didn't cut cleanly were left shoved under the left and right edges of my nail bed after she tried to cut up the sides and I told her not to because that's one of the fastest ways to cause in-grown nails! Basic stuff any professional should know. I'm deeply disappointed. TL;DR: The technician I had was friendly but not professional at all. Don't come here if you want them to shape your real, human fingernails without adding acrylics or anything like that -- they'll chop them like you chop your preschooler's nails when you're rushing out the door to daycare. I have hyperhidrosis on my hands & feet & the lady ( Maria ) that did my nails after I mentioned to her my condition, took any chance she had to say out loud " oh my god your hands are so wet ! " after mentioning her husband has the same condition & kept asking me why I dont get surgery for it.. I didn't take that as a red flag I continued to let her do my nails.. (they look all bull & crooked) then I ask her if it's okay to do acrylic on my thumb on my toe & she said yes & procedeed to call me out again ! I've been going here for years and they are the only place that doesn't hurt me (I'm overly sensitive and scared to get pedicures) everyone is so nice and gentle and everyone has done a great job. They say things that sound mean but it is their lack of English speaking ability. The shop is clean and the ladies working don't speak their language as much as other nail places do. My sister and mom have been going here for at least five years, and this was my second time to Honey Go. I'm visiting from Minnesota, and it has been months since my last pedicure. Sophia was fantastic, taking time and care asking if my big toes were okay, since they both were unfortunately ingrown. She totally fixed my problem and took her time in a gentle fashion. I chose to try this place out because of its location. It's so close to my house and would have been so convenient. My mother and I wanted to get a pedi. We both chose the cheapest pedi of $25. We also decided to get gel polish. When it came time to pay the total was $90 for the both of us. $25 each for the pedi then they charged us $15 each for selecting gel polish and another $10 for the type of gel polish that was selected. I give them a 3 star based only on the ladies being nice.l otherwise it would have been a one star. I didn't like the extra charges for everything. The pedi itself was 5/10. They didn't include a massage all they did was hot rocks which I can get for that price plus more somewhere else. I have never heard of two extra charges for gel. $25 more for gel and the type of gel. If you like their work and know what they charge I recommend but walk-in not knowing what the price looks like I don't recommend. read more

I run a business in the same plaza as this establishment. I will never ever recommend anyone go here . I went here because they are close to my business. As soon as I walked in the owners wife was rude , told me to sit at chair 8 as i walked to the chair , I was greeted by a chorus of laughing nail techs . I'm Asian I'm interracial, And I'm proud . I said hello to the nail tech at 8 she refused to acknowledge me while she talked crap about my appearance, along with the other nail techs . While they continued to laugh while she continued to ignore me , then she got up , and turned her back to me , all while still running her mouth . By the 5th minute of this treatment, when I'm a kind person . I got up , all of a sudden walking out , not a word . I refuse to be treated like garbage when I'm nice and greeted them with a smiles , thank yous and hellos . All Insecure women , that behavior will run this business into the ground , because I refuse , after going to nail salons for 20 plus years to be treated like that . EVER ! My daughter who has special needs( cerebral palsy) and I have been to this shop several times since moving to the area and usually we have a pleasant experience. Today was different, we were the first client and they placed my daughter to be seated like normal. My daughter has no control over her right hand and we come here because she is usually treated with respect like one would expect but today during her gel polishing I guess she messed the polish up a time or two which happens and that's why we pay extra for gel polish but today the technician had another tech come and hold my daughters hand down I could have done that I was sitting right there, I thought she was just being helpful. When we left my daughter tells me the tech that was servicing her told my daughter that if her polish messed up again she would just be done and her polish wouldn't be finished. I understand that it's challenging to polish my daughters hand and if it were a matter of using up their polish or it taking a bit longer I would have gladly paid for the bottle of polish and for the extra time but instead my daughter was made to feel bad and after the technician was done she made a large sigh of relief which I originally laughed with her about but now after my daughter shared the things that were said to her and how she felt my laughter has turned to tears. I understand that the technician was blessed with functional limbs but everyone isn't my ask is to put yourself in a special needs persons place and think about if that is that how you would want to be treated or how you would want your kids or family members treated? I'm sure you wouldn't and as a result I can no longer patronize your business. I'm not trying to give your company a bad review but I do hope that the next special needs person with hand issues leaves feeling as pretty as they came to feel. I found this salon through Yelp when I was in the area and needed a bit of a work-up (nail fill, pedi, brow and lip wax). Kim did all of it and did a great job. The pedi chairs are the best I've ever sat in! They give a serious massage and this place is worth going back to just for the chairs. Kim was meticulous (a perfectionist) with my acrylic nail fill and pedicure. No rough edges or gel splotches on my skin when I left the salon. This use to be my go to place but I may be looking for a new place now. They are always so rushed doing my pedicure. Don't give my feet time to soak and soften. I've gotten 3 different types of oedis and they did the same thing for all three. This last time she used dull nippers and cut me. She told me that's ok. Also when I leave my feet look more dry than when i go in. When I pointed it out she put lotion in my feet and said that I need Vaseline . I use coconut oil and they don't look like that. They need to return back to when they cared for the customers more than pushing customers through to make the money. read more
