Service was awesome, the staff is super friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is great as well. The food was very ok and there aren't many vegetarian options. The Mac and cheese has meat, the brussel sprouts have meet, and there is no veggie burger option. We ended up getting salads which were very substandard, and the nachos without the brisket, which were pretty bland. The the fried corn cobbettes and deviled potato salad were good. So couldn't wait to try this new place, we try to support local over chain whenever we can. Loved the decor and layout, plenty of elbow room, and while it was one large room with high ceilings it wasn't overly loud. Started with the Smokehouse Nachos, they were OK the BeerBQ sauce which seems to be their own lacked any real kind of flavor and the queso was very pale. The brisket was amazing but once that was gone very lacking. Note we didn't do the jalapenos but you shouldn't have to have those to get some punch. I had the Big Loud Trucker, said it was Texas Toast but it was bread pure and simple. The creamy tomato salad on top it was caught my eye but again, lacking in flavor, runny and just bland. The burger was fine but for $14 just not all that, I expect more than just ground beef patties at that price. Sweet potato fries were very good but you shouldn't have to ask for ketchup in a place where it's mostly burgers and fries. Also, no salt or pepper on the table. Hubby had the ribs he said they were good but not as good as we had at another local Clarksville restaurant just a few days before. The "bread" was more cake like, when I think bread I think Liberty Grill (soft, warm, slightly salty) and it was nothing like that. We will give it another try but the first impression is this place needs to punch up the flavor!!! read more

So the beer was good! However, my burger was not. The burger was cooked well done when I asked for medium and it was drenched in bourbon jam. The fries were soggy. My friends and I all ordered small orders of wings and they were dry. Not really gonna give this place a bad rating when it was only one meal. read more

We visited Dock 17 this past weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday. The atmosphere was nice and our server was very pleasant, but the food was not wonderful. The flavors of the main courses were good, but hot food should be served hot, and cold food served cold, which was not the case on Saturday evening. Even though the service was promt, most everything that came out of the kitchen had cooled to room temperature. The queso on the greasy 'nachos' was congealed and the meat was refrigerator cold. The mac n cheese was overcooked and luke warm, which made it inedible. Even the meat on my burger and the mashed potatoes were too cool to really enjoy. Great atmosphere.. no question about that.. hit or miss on the service is absolutely the issue.. lack of knowledge about their menu and bar.. if you're going to serve high end, then you had better know it. Burgers are fair after trying several. Filet was extremely good. Not sure if it's a true Delmonico Ribeye, but just my perception and opinion.. if you can get a server who cares about what they are doing, you should enjoy the evening. read more

I had a horrible experience after ordering a carry-out order at this place. First, I had to make the order at the bar, the greeting stand does nothing but ask if you have a reservation. After placing my order at the bar, I was directed to take a seat and the order would be "right up". I sat at an empty tall table adjacent to the bar and had just started to check my phone when a female "greeter" person came by and told me that I could not sit where I was be cause it was reserved for future patrons yet to come in. There were two other tables adjacent to my area, but she insisted I move. I explained that I was waiting for a carry out order and was directed to sit in this area. She wasn't interested, just repeated her direction to move. I complied, and was asked by a server in the area why I had moved. I explained and she insisted itv was OK to sit where I had been. I told her take it up with the Nazi Princess from the hostess stand! I got my order long before ANYONE ELSE came into the area and the table was still empty when I left! 2nd time here with the family. Overall, not super impressed with this restaurant. We ate outside this time, smelled like straight poop outside, tons of green flies, which those are the ones that like poop. Kids kept asking what smelled while trying to play corn hole. We went to celebrate a birthday, asked if they had anything for birthdays, said "you can pay for a dessert." Started with the loaded pallet for 4, which was more like for 2. I saw the table next to us get the loaded pallet for 2 and looked just like ours except an extra scoop of potato salad, really!! Everything still is not bad on this except the bread, disgusting, horrible pairing with what's on the platter. Everyone got burgers, my wife loved her Smokey and the brisket burger, asked for medium rare on my Sumo burger, came out well done. Kid's burgers they didn't like but they loved their Mac and cheese. I've yet to have a good burger here after 2 tries. Unfortunately, with the right management and people in the kitchen, this place could crush it. Until they get there service and food quality in check I will NOT be going back! We went there for brunch and it took over 1.5 hours just to get our food.. after we ordered it. The burger was dry and over cooked nothing special at all. The only good thing was the hash brown casserole. But the waitress and food took so long. So a week or so later we decided maybe it was a bad day last time and would give them another chance. We went there for dinner, had reservations at 6:30 and never got seated until after 7, and that's only because we took 2 tables for our party instead of the one table that I requested. Once again the food quality and service was terrible. After ordering the starters (appetizers) they finally came out 50 mins later, with the food 1.5 hour after ordering it. The burgers were over cooked very dry, again nothing special. The decor and atmosphere is on point but there very poor service and food quality will be the reason that I will NOT be back! If you go expect LONG wait times and poor service! Obviously I put this on the management! read more
