Are you kidding me, with these prices? All I could bring myself to order were the Brussel sprouts. They ended up being undercooked, soggy, just a mess. My friend ordered a burger with fries. The burger was tiny, burnt, and lacked any flavor. The fries were cold and so salty, you need about a gallon of water with them. Overlooking the Housatonic River, Dockside Brewery is a new joint perfect for a summer evening. Me and my buddies booked an 8 o'clock outdoor reservation. We were there by 8 but our table wasn't ready yet....no big deal we decided to sit at the bar. They told us they would text us when our table was ready. About a round of drinks and a half hour later, still no text. My buddy went to go check on the table and they told him that there were still 4 parties ahead of us. It was kind of a let down since we booked a reservation & they weren't able to deliver. We ended up settling for bar area seating since we were ravenous. We started with some Chips & Guac since they didn't have salsa (Dockside, you got to get on the salsa train!). The guac was pretty tasty but they didn't give us enough chips. We had to ask for more which is a slight inconvenience. However, for some reason I have a pet peeve about places not providing the perfect chip to dip ratio so it's a sticking point for sure. My buddies recommended I order the pizza. I was a little skeptical since they are a brewery with a bunch of different bar food. Luckily the boys didn't let me down because the pizza was pretty fire. The char & sauce were on point! In terms of the service...10/10. Chloe was top notch & provided next level service. Overall, the ambiance, food , beer & service were fantastic. They still need to make some adjustments to make this place go from good to great. The reservation mess-up is unacceptable but since they are new and opened during COVID, I will chalk it up as growing pains & give them the benefit of the doubt. I definitely will be back. read more

Some of the slowest service I've experienced in the area. Seated in a party of 7 at a table outside -- the only one without an umbrella, of course -- and took ~15 minutes for a server to come over. She apologized for the wait; we ordered drinks and food, and asked to move to a table nearby with an umbrella. She told us to check with the hostess; we did and were allowed to move. Drinks came; maybe 20 minutes later, one pizza came out, but no other food. The server came by 10 minutes later, said the food should be right out. 50 minutes after we sat down, I finally got up to ask her to check on the food -- the server went up to the kitchen and helpfully informed us that the kitchen had lost our ticket, and she apologized, that the manager would be out to see us as well. Another 15 minutes later, food finally came; no manager. The waitress came back halfway through our meal and offered **green tea shots** as a consolation prize. We're all in our late 20s-early 30s -- thanks, but the jig is up on green tea shots, they're sugar water with a spritz of alcohol, dude. She comp'd dessert instead, but we had to ask her to remove the 20% auto-gratuity. Really a shame that she had to take a low tip based on the kitchen's screw-up. Manager not coming over was pretty unforgivable; whoever s/he is, s/he shouldn't be a manager if that's the response to customers who waited over an hour for their meals. Won't be back. read more

My husband and I have been 3 times already (we live right up the road) and absolutely love it here. We are so happy to have a place like this within walking distance. I don't even like beer and there are several beers I have had here that I really enjoyed (Mango Tango, Cobbler, Fruit Stripe). The cocktails are also delicious, especially the Frosé, which is my absolute favorite. The food is really good! We liked everything we have ordered, especially the Mashed Potato Pie (sooo good omg). The Salad pizza was also spot on. And the guacamole! Service has been perfect every time we've gone, and we have been on a very busy Saturday night and in the middle of a weekday. The best part is probably the view and the ambience. Great vibes. Definitely recommend checking it out, even just for a beer with a beautiful view! read more

Not just a standard Brewery, this place is great for all, you don't have to be a beer snob. Don't get me wrong, the Beer is amazing, and they have an amazing list of local guest beers to choose from , frozen drinks, and Titos on Tap as well. Where this place stands out is the outside areas and the food! I have yet to have a bad meal here, and if you want to sit out in the sun and watch some boats go by, this is your place. Come by car or boat with ample transit slips for short stays or overnights. Even with the vast outdoor seating, this place fills up quick all summer long, so get there early or be sure to make a reservation well in advance. Enjoy!!! read more

Met a friend here for lunch and shared a pizza and a side salad (they made that up special for us since it wasn't on the menu.). We spent a ridiculous amount of time there but never felt rushed. We just left the igloo (party of 6) and it was an incredible experience! Highly recommend! It was heated, the food and drinks came out sooo quick. Waitress (I believe her name was Shaina) was amazing. They had a speaker inside that we can play our own music. There was also color changing lights which made the experience so fun! First time here. We were going to an area close by in CT and wanted to try something new, a new CT brewery (for us anyway). Had good reviews so we made a reservation (still During onset covid-19 times) and stopped in. At first we didn't know what to expect being right on a main road. After being sat and discovering the many varieties on their menu we started to settle in. They had a really good selection of many local beers (including their own) and a good selection of food to fit anyone's pallet. Service was good and we tried a couple of their on site brews as well as some seafood options. We were pleasantly pleased with all the choices we had and the service was also really good. Visiting from Florida and they refused to serve us drinks because "they can't verify our ID" after I showed them my second form of ID and offered other resources. The server took out IDs back to a manager who didn't even come out to look at our face but quick to turn us away. Absolutely ridiculous an establishment like this doesn't have a scanner to verify. I went here for a dinner for a best friends birthday. We had a reservation at a certain time and we're on time for it and we're very excited for dinner. Unfortunately that took a turn for the worse. Upon arrival the bouncers (who looked like they were 17 years old...) were incredibly entitled and immature they acted as if they were doing gods work. The bouncer said "21 and over IDS please" One of our friends was not 21 and therefore we were denied entry. We stepped the side and called the host and explained the issue. The host understood and told us no problem they would accommodate us. They soon came downstairs to walk us in told us we were good to follow them to where the bouncer (who looks 17 years old) then stopped us with his arm and still refused entry out of spite. There were no plans to drink and this was simply a birthday dinner. I have never experienced anything like this before. I have been eating out all my life and this is the first time anything of this caliber has happened. I am embarrassed for the bouncer and his low sense of dignity. I blame management as well for not training the first person you walk into at a "restaurant" properly. This is deplorable. I would not be surprised if there was a discriminatory motive, since the bouncer was a young white boy and our under 21 friend was LGBTQ and Jewish. read more

I really like this place from the breathtaking view of the dock and the great service, and the food was great too. And I think the prices are just fine for the area they're in. I got the steak fajita power bowl which was really good. My brother got the calamari which actually wasn't that good; it didn't have flavor and was rubbery. The sausage pizza was amazing, just know that it's more of a personal sized one. The spinach dip bowl was also so goof, but definitely lacking in size. Also some of the drinks were too strong, which I don't mind at all. I think it's a good thing, but some of the people I with wasn't thrilled about it. Excellent in every sense. You have to make online reservations six days in advance. Table was great. Staff was incredibly attentive - waitress was on point with service, bus boys continually cleaned up. Food was served in to go containers which was great. Beer was ice cold. And the food was so good- We had the brussels sprouts, Philly cheesesteak eggrolls, meatball pizza, a black and blue burger, and the steak power bowl. We've been here three times so far, twice in the main dining areas and once in the igloo park. Each time the food had been great and the service has been fantastic. Everyone there is friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed every food item (appetizers, main dishes, desserts) and drinks that we have had. Boneless wings were a joke. Husbands Buffalo wrap was horrible, not good chicken as the same was with the wings. Had dockside beer (closest to what corona would be) not good, didn't drink it. The philly cheese egg rolls were delicious and shrimp appetizer was good but that's all I can tell you about our positive dining experience.
