I have visited Dockside Brewing a few times now, and it never fails to impress me with its great outdoor seating and beautiful waterfront view. The ambiance is perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal or grabbing a few beers with friends. I especially enjoy their home brews. Feelin' Juicy is a great beer that they brew in-house. Although it has more of a waterfront restaurant vibe, its beer stands up to its brewery name. During my most recent visit, my group opted for getting a few shareables, and although everything we tried was tasty, we did find that every dip had a spicy kick to it. While some may enjoy the heat, it would have been nice to have more variety in flavor profiles. Nevertheless, the food was still enjoyable, and we appreciated the generous portion sizes. One minor downside that I noticed during my visits is that the place can get quite crowded, especially during peak hours. While it's a testament to the popularity of Dockside Brewing, it can sometimes lead to a feeling of overcrowded and cramped. However, the staff does their best to manage the crowd and ensure everyone is cared for. Overall, my experiences at Dockside Brewing have been great. Had an amazing experience at Dockside in Milford, CT! We ordered the 3 lobster rolls with fries and coleslaw, and it was love at first bite! The coleslaw was made with a light vinaigrette, which was a refreshing change from the usual mayo-based slaw (and a total win in my book, since I'm not a mayo fan ). But what really made our experience stand out was our waitress, Ava . She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Great service, great food - we'll definitely be back! Tell Danny, we said hello from Martha and Todd Swarney! One thing to note, though: the bees outside can be a bit bothersome and sometimes kill the dining experience. They're pretty persistent, so be prepared to swat or shoo them away. TIP: OPEN A COUPLE OF CANS OF TUNA (in water) AND PUT THEM AROUND (30-50ft) AND YOU'LL SEE THEM DISAPPEAR. Very disappointed in this location if you are NOT White you will not feel comfortable here we were completely disrespected by the hostess to begin with then the owner which I can only assume he is because he never introduced himself or apologized for the racist inappropriate behavior of his hostess he's a rather Large man approached me solely looked at me I explained to him what happen he turned to the hostess said some words never said a word to us, why we did not leave at that very moment not sure!!! as the evening went on we were ignored DOCKSIDE in Milford CT are RACIST!!!!! Do yourself a favor and don't spend your money with them I did and I'm very disappointed in not seeing ALL the red flags from the beginning. Oh and Yes we had RSVP made 7 days in advance and were still ignored!!! just take a good look around the place it speaks volumes... So sad but True. FOOD NO GOOD!!! read more

You can't please everyone....a lesson we all learned early in life by those in charge of helping us pick a path. Dockside's response ........Hold my unique and bold draught beer! Dockside has the great service- the view- the beer- and frankly- the food isn't bad. They are a spot for 20 something's to 50 something's and no one seems alienated - everyone comes together. That's what the local town pub brought back in the day and what Dockside emulates today. If I could give more stars - I would. If you haven't been on a warm and breezy summer night with someone you love - or a group of buddies- or just throwing back a cold one with your father and your brothers.....you have missed one of CTs best Brew Pubs. read more

Dockside Brewery is a solid destination for craft beer enthusiasts and those looking for a great time. I don't drink beer but the friends I attended with do and advocate for the beer selection. Their impressive selection beers pairs well with the full bar, offering something for everyone. The multilevel, spacious layout provides plenty of comfortable seating, whether you're indoors or enjoying the outdoor views. Despite the large crowd it often attracts, the service is fast and efficient, ensuring you never wait long for a drink or bite. I have been coming to dockside since the opening and have had great experiences. I booked a reservation for the igloo bar for my birthday and was quite honestly I'm pressed. Inside was festive and padded seatings and a personal speaker you could hook up your music to. It was the greatest place to celebrate with a special thanks to our waitress Lauren. We had a big party with constant ordering of drinks and food and she was on the ball. Special thanks to her for busting her butt up and down those stairs and making sure we were comfortable and happy! Thanks dockside! read more

I've only given one star because I have to. The most racist establishment I've ever been to. It's absurd. Took my ID with no problem THAT WAS FAKE and didn't let my black friend who's ID was real in. Terrible place. Called the cops over nothing. I highly suggest going to any other brewery. Better beer selections and better food along with better staff. read more

I respect that dogs aren't allowed inside or outside at the restaurant. Your place, your rules, no argument. However, do not tell me it is because of the Health Department, that just isn't so and making them out as the bad guys is inappropriate. read more

There are a few spaces by the door but we never take them. There's a nice patio when the weather is nice and you can look out on Long Island Sound. There's a lot of activity by the seawall if you're into people and dog watching also. It's a great spot and I'm glad we're returning soon!
