We went to Doc's in the for dinner first couple of months we were in Easton. The menu is pretty simple but that seems to be common here. I ordered the meatloaf which was amazing. I don't remember what the other half ordered but it had crab and he enjoyed it. The serve was decent- nothing amazing, nothing terrible. I haven't been back since but I don't know if it's because 12 dollars for meatloaf seems high (although it is the shore) or if the place just didn't really inspire me. I'd go back if I still lived in Easton but it wasn't on my top places in town or the surrounding area. Worth a stop if you are in town and looking for a good place to eat especially since the pub seems to have gone downhill recently. read more

Cute place. Atmosphere is relaxing. Tables are too low for the bench seats. It's somewhat uncomfortable to bend over when eating. Not sure how they messed that up when ordering furniture. Super friendly staff, we brought our Golden Retriever, and they didn't miss a beat, set us up and even brought her a bowl of water. Nice There were no complaints on the meals, airline chicken was anything but what I remembered ( yep, I remember when you were served a meal in coach, that you'd usually make more jokes about than bits of). A definite great find if you are in the area. The ONLY reaseon tey got a 4 star instead of 5 was the service. Our waitress was running ragged. Someone needs to do some hiring. I know it's difficult in bar/restuarants to get/keep good staff but we almost walked out. There were 2 people delivering food but not offering to refill waters or sodas. I can understand not doing bar drinks. That said... If you loved real cream of crab soup, mmm-mmm YES!! this was phenomenal!!! We had the seared scallop small plate. I'd order as a meal. DELICIOUS! I'll begin by saying that the staff was very polite and friendly, and the service was great. We ate our lunch inside at the bar area which was clean but had that typical dank bar smell. The menu is generous without being overwhelming, and the happy hour selections looked decent. My spouse ordered the Doc Sliders, and I had one of the Specials, Fried Oysters over Salad. The trio of sliders were a yummy variety. My salad was very tasty, but I was a bit disappointed with the oysters. I prefer small and sweet, and these were large and wet. Our only complaints were petty. The utensils were sad. The cheap metal fork with narrow round tines made eating the salad difficult. Also, the 80's/Michael Jackson playlist was out-of-place and annoyingly distracting. Overall, glad we gave it a try and we look forward to going back. read more

A welcome addition to Easton! The decor of Doc's is upscale pub and a great new option for a cold one. I can't speak to the food since I only drank but there were many people enjoying the wings around me. I was there on a Tuesday night and the place was jumping. Since it was still April, I think almost everyone was a local. Another good sign as far as I'm concerned. Unlike most of the lower-end pubs and bars in St. Michaels that don't care about repeat business, Doc's feels like it is in the game for the long run. read more

This is a great place in Easton. It's the local hangout, but also good for visitors! This location is very popular because it has pretty good food, a nice bar, a nice layout, and a nice atmosphere. I got the cream of crab soup which is VERY good! It lacked large portions of crabmeat, but is still VERY flavorful! 5/5 for the cream of crab soup! Additionally, I got the fried calamari which was excellent! It's flash fried and coated perfectly! It wasn't over cooked like most calamari at restaurants. It was served with a sweet chili sauce and a mayo-based sauce. Cooked to perfection! 5/5. I would highly recommend this restaurant! One of the best in Easton! We had the seafood nachos as a appetizer, highly recommended. They were great. I had the crab cake sandwich, also great. My girlfriend had the prime rib egg rolls, which were not as great as the other options. I would have rated this higher but the cook was very slow, even though it was not busy. My friend and I stopped in for lunch today on the recommendation from Diana Towers a partner of La De Da. When we first walked in we were greeted by the hostess who was all smiles and welcoming. She sat us a table and informed us someone will be right out to take our order. My friend went to the ladies room while I waited. The waitress (unfortunately, I don't remember her name) came over about 5 minutes later and to our drink order. I asked for two waters with lemons on side. She came back about 10 minutes later to take our orders and dropped off the waters in red cups. I ordered the salmon melt and my friend ordered the shrimp and grits. Our meals took a while to come and as we sat we notice others coming in and getting faster service than us. I must mention everyone in our section had the same waitress except one other table and us. The waitress we had seem to pay more attention to the other table than us. As we watch we noticed the other waitress mentioning specials to her customers and was more polite. When our waitress finally did come to our table my friend mentioned to her about the special and asked her why weren't we told about the specials. Her answer was as she walked away , "they were in the front". We both felt her answer and behavior was unprofessional and rude. When our food came out my fries were hot and the rest of our food was warm. However, the food was really good. The waitress didn't come back to check on right away to see if we needed anything. I needed more napkins but our waitress was no where to be found. The hostess noticed and gave me some napkins. My friend needed more water and again no waitress, so I asked the hostess. When I needed a carry out box, you guessed it, I asked the hostess. The waitress came back after we had finished our meals to asked us how was everything. My friend explained, her rudeness and disregard to our table but she didn't care. So in the end we gave our tip to the hostess. I would have given this restaurant five stars if our waitress customer service was as good as the hostesses was towards us. Overall the food was great. If I return to this establishment again and see that waitress again, I would request someone else or walk out. read more

Wow! What a great evening at Doc's! I was traveling from Western Shore to the Eastern Shore of Maryland and stopped to Doc's for dinner with two friends. We were immediately greeted by Leah, our server. She was excellent.
