What constitutes a four star breakfast joint with a limited American breakfast menu, pretty tight and limited indoor seating, cash only, and no particular specialties after the fried muffin? Breakfast in Easton is exactly what it says it is, and does all that standard short order fare perfectly. Service was snappy and the food came out promptly, but not suspiciously so. While it was a bit cold the morning we went, the outdoor seating in this little back lot hash joint was inviting. We did get a little stare (as noted in other reviews) from the locals as we walked in but if you can brave that it's a really nice option for just regular old breakfast.

What I ordered vs. What I got (sheeesh).... SO, this was a very quaint place....very small. I especially realized upon entering that this is a place for the locals only. They do not cater to new customers, don't even try. Also, the customers stared me down, gave me dirty looks. They did not want me in "their" breakfast spot. No worries, I will not return (HA!). I read the reviews so I knew that it was in the back. This is something you would not know without reading the reviews or just knowing (no signage). I wasn't greeted when I walked in - even though all eyes were on me. I had to actually walk all the way to the back and ask to order (I still left a tip by the way because I am not that kind of person). My order took about 30 minutes even though I was originally told that it would be 15 minutes. This wasn't a big deal, as I noticed it was pretty busy for this small place. Inside was full - they had a handful of tiny tables (2 seaters - about 4 of them) and they had about 3 bar stools. Outside they had several small tables - all full. So, I didn't mind waiting - this way I knew my food would be hot and fresh. yessss!!! a win.... Ultimately, the food was well....not worth the wait. I knew when it did not smell like food inside - especially when cooking bacon you get the smells!! I ordered : (2) potatoes toast blueberry pancakes I got (received) : 1 order of potatoes toast blob of something (I am not sure if it is pancakes or if it is even done) I decided not to eat the pancakes for my safety. Also - the butter they gave me on the side had something floating in it. The toast is rather thick so it is something that you have to be used to. I like my toast airy and chewy with crisp edges, so it was not for me. The potatoes (the whole reason that I went) - I thought that they were like smothered potatoes, skillet potatoes, potatoes and onions (whatever you call them where you are from) - but these potatoes had no onions and they had the skin on them and they were pretty thick cut so this is not something I am used to either BUT they look absolutely yummy. So....yeah, no!!

Great place to grab breakfast. Small and only open in the mornings but worth the trip. Basic menu but all cooked to order. A local favorite to enjoy.

Cute place for breakfast, small only 4 tables and 3 bar seats. It's all locals eating there which tells me it's good. Small menu but for breakfast it's eggs, home fries and toast. The food was cooked quickly and service was good. Ask for the raspberry jam it was delicious. It's worth finding which was a little challenging it's on the back side of a building.

    Lovely garden setting.

Food is great. Service is great as well. He makes his own bread and pastries which are delicious.

Good breakfast, reasonable price. Feels old school and authentic. I've gone several times in just a few weeks.

Great morning stop for a classic NJ breakfast sandwich. Indeed, an outstanding NJ breakfast sandwich. Great prices, too.

We asked to be moved to the dining room. Staff was extremely rude and stuck us in the back in the dining room by ourselves and ignored us until we asked to be served. For $155 per person, we expected a much higher level of quality and service. The service throughout the meal was extremely slow, the food was mediocre at best, and the brunch setup felt confusing and underwhelming. There was a buffet for salads and sides, but then guests still had to select an entrée from a dinner-style menu in the middle of the day. The dessert buffet was nearly empty by the time we got there, and we ended up being served parfaits instead. They didn't even provide parfait spoons, and we had to ask for a knife just to scrape the bottom of the glass. The property itself is beautiful, but unfortunately the dining experience did not come close to justifying the price. We left feeling frustrated and disappointed, especially for a special occasion like Mother's Day.

It was good , but if I had it to do over i would have ordered the breakfast off the menu. Everything was delicious, mostly breakfast foods . You could have your eggs made to order if you'd like. The breakfast from the menu had pretty much everything- it looked like a perfect portion. I would say the service was a bit on the slow side , they were expecting us , but it seemed like a lot for one waitress.

Unfortunately, we were so excited I forgot to take pictures of the food, but it was really good. I got avocado toast which was decent and my husband got the smoked bbq pulled chicken sandwich. My husband loved his. While everything was great, we felt a little mislead from the name. The coffee menu was literally just a sign that said specialty drinks and then it looked like a bar more than a coffee shop. Despite that, we loved it and would happily stop here again. I also asked where the baked goods were from because they looked unique. They were sourced locally from a girl that worked at the restaurant across the street. Definitely stop on here for a local gem.
