Both were fantastic and perfectly cooked - the mushrooms were fresh (not canned, thank goodness). Also - I'm kind of a sucker for a good crust and this HAD IT ((chefs kiss)). Can't wait to come back!! As a side note -- there are two separate entrances... the front entrance is to the dining room and the back entrance is to the bar. It felt welcoming, whether people were staying at the resort or just coming in for dinner, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. For my main dish, I went with the burger cooked medium-rare, and it hit the mark. Juicy, full of flavor, and paired with crisp fries that were actually seasoned well. Between the quality of the food and the friendly service, the Crystal Tavern left a good impression. I'd definitely go back and try more of the menu next time.
