We are regulars for Thursday wing nights and love them. Naked, hot and crispy. This week I tried Wednesday's Steak night and it was amazingly good. Strip steak done the way I ordered with vegetables and potatoes $19.00 bucks. Can't wait to take the wife. TUESDAY taco nights are also good. Great wait staff. I love the Rolling Rock on tap. This place is such a gem. Someone told us they had the best wings in the area so we decided to give them a try. when we pulled up their wing menu online we were very impressed with all of the options and flavors. We've tried so many flavors and theyre all incredible but my absolute favorite is carolina gold. Unbelievably delicious. Not to mention the people who work here are SO nice. I'm truly so happy we live pretty close to Wits End because we've made it a new tradition whenever we want wings or great pub food. Love you, Wits End!! read more

Nice quiet local pub. The bartender the one time I went is my neighbor (actually never knew it). They have a decent tap selection and a bunch of bottle selections. The beers are cold and the owners put snacks out periodically at the bar which is nice. I've only eaten there once and had the wings which were very well made, perfectly cooked and the sauce was very good. I came here after hiking the AT to High Point. These down-to-earth people are among the friendliest I've ever met; one local bought my friend and I beers. The bartender was attentive, the food was very good and the crowd was friendly. The owner went out of his way to joke around with us. This is a very hiker-friendly bar in a hiker-friendly town. I Called to place 2 order of wings and asked for my total to pay over the phone, she said your total is $36.78 and when I asked why that much, the professional lady who picked up the phone hanged up on me.I called again and asked why she hanged up and she clearly said that she hanged up because I am arguing about the price and hanged up again when I asked for price recheck.It's common sense to argue about price when you tell me my total is $36.78 and the menu says $9 per order.Called a third time to ask to speak to a manager since i am a regular client and big supporter for local businesses and hate seeing some unprofessional people like her ruining business reputation, she was rude and unprofessional again and asked me to call on a different day to talk to a manager. Random bar, perfectly located to service the needs of the exhausted Appalachian Trail hikers. Stopped by to grab a friend hiking the AT to whisk him away to NYC for a weekend. I really wanted to like this bar but...friend and I both went in on a Thursday afternoon to grab beers and burgers. Place looks great; large, clean, pool table, music, TVs atm but there were four men at the bar who were there before us and they were consistently loud and very crude. I'm not easily offended but these guys were way outta line, one in particular. I'm sure they were locals but I am too, I live 2 miles away and while I don't expect ppl to be quiet in a bar I do expect a little basic respect with my lunch. Was embarrassed because I brought my friend w me telling her the burgers were great. They are great and the service was great and my beer was too but those guys, nope.
