So it's been a couple years since I've eaten here. It's gone downhill IMO. Came here yesterday with a group of friends. Our server did her best since we had a crowd. She did a good job but the food quality is certainly not what it was & the prices have gone up. I had the salad & soup. Salad consisted of a handful of greens, one grape tomato with some really watered down ranch dressing. The soup was supposed to be chicken pesto pasta soup? I asked, yes really , okay. There was no soup about it. And it was gross. I was just going to pay & leave when my friends were ready but the server asked me if I liked it seeing it sitting there. I said no but it's fine. She wanted to make up for it & asked if I would like broccoli cheese instead. I said Ok sure. It has to be better why not. It wasn't. Again I said nothing. It's fine i wasn't upset I just accepted that it wasn't good & I just needed my check. She was honestly sad she couldn't help so that says a lot. I tipped her well. I'm sorry to see this happen because the owners are nice. My friend had the house burger with sweet potato fries. She wasn't impressed either. This was our first stop at Doc's. The plan was to scope this place out and come back for line dancing lessons at a later date. Nice enough country western themed bar with a dance floor and band stage. As I can not comment on what goes on here after dark it surely looks like it must be a good time. This was a lunch stop today. I did see the burger on a prior Yelp review, and that drew us in. The burger, unfortunately, looks better than it was. The meat was like a hockey puck, and the bun was days old. And don't get me going on those coated fries. The menu covers off on typical pub food. read more

Awesome venue! Good menu and great drinks. Every night is a different theme but normally tied to music (karaoke, line dancing, etc). The owner is extremely nice and friendly. There are lots of places to eat in Sierra Vista actually, but I recommend you give this place a try! I'll be back for sure!! read more

We are visitors in town and looking for something to eat. We found this place on google so we headed there. As soon as we walked in I wanted to turn around and walk out! But we stayed and I am sure glad we did. We ordered our food with the bartender and sat down. This was karaoke night. We had a blast watching and singing along with the karaoke singers. The food portions were huge!! Food was good but the people and atmosphere were fantastic. I have not enjoyed a place like this in a long time. People were friendly and kind.. this was a great time. I walked in at around 4:30pm on a Thursday, an hour before dancing began. The place was relatively quiet. A few young girls were playing on the dance floor. I sat facing the dance floor as the seats around the bar were all taken and I didn't want to hog a table by myself. There is also upstairs seating but that's only open when it gets crowded on the ground floor. I ordered a Coconut Porter ($6.50) and a grilled chicken sandwich with fries. The fries could have been crispier and the chicken more savory. The meal was OK. Service by Stephanie fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable here. Most burgers and sandwiches are $13.99. There are 12 beers on tap. Michelob Ultra, Coors Light, Bud Light are the cheap domestic beers My Porter is from the Maui Brewing Company out of Hawaii but there are beers from Barrio And Dragoon Brewing companies out of Tucson as well. The tables quickly filled by 5:30 as an instructor came on stage to show some basic line dance moves. There were mostly women on the floor. People of all ages were on that floor having a good time. I've been in several times and each time it seems to get worse with service especially on the weekend nights. The bartenders seem miserable and act annoyed when taking my friends and I drink orders. They have bluntly ignored us and continue texting on their phones. We always want to leave shortly after getting there even with paying the $5 cover charge. We usually walk next door to Punchy's where they are quick with service and friendly. They have put a lot of work into Docs but they need to hire staff that actually want to be there and provide good service so people want to come back. read more

this is my opinion of doc's food and beer and i have 70 years of dining out experience. i consider $15.99 for a foul-tasting hamburger and an inadequate serving of bad tasting fries an outrageous price to pay. i ate the fries and disposed the hamburger! the brand of ketchup severed with the fries did not taste good and had a cheap taste to it. i could have purchased much better food at a local hamburger stand for a much cheaper price! a glass of draft beer was $6.50. i could have purchased the same product in a bottle for about $3.49 elsewhere! i will never go back there again. the service was excellent and the ambiance was a good mixture of country and western. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch. Thought I'd try the Green Chile Cheese Burger. What a pleasant surprise! Being from West Texas, I've had my share of Green Chile Cheese Burgers, as most burger places have some version.. All were good, but Doc's version, having a half pound of truly great tasting beef, cooked to order, was very juicy and tasty. The Green Chile added a nice flavor without overpowering the rest of the "fixins".. Very filling, enough so as to be enough to carry me through dinner tonight. The fries were very crisp outside, steamy inside and seasoned just right, not too salty. My wife had her favorite Mushroom and Swiss burger. She said it was also "excellent". So, if you have a craving for a burger and want to skip the usual fast food places, treat yourself to one of the many styles available at Doc's. They offer a lot of other tasty plates if you might prefer something else. For us, it was well worth the trip.. relaxing atmosphere, courteous and professional staff and great food. It was actually ok, other than a few issues. We went on a Thursday, which is line dancing night, so there was plenty of entertainment. The food was good, kind of pub-food, mixed with a little not-so pub style fare. All of which was good, other than the grilled chicken sandwich had a chicken breast 1 1/2 inches thick. We went there last Saturday night to watch nightlife. The music was great but the service was terrible. Took over 30 minutes to get our food and drinks. The prices were very expensive. We had hummus and veggies,plant based chicken nugget basket with no sauce and had to ask for it,PB&J drink which was like a shot and a shot of patron and it was over $50 bucks even with my discount card. I got no receipt from the waitress. Went to the bar to order a tea and nobody acknowledged me and sat there over 30 minutes watching the bartender slam ice like she hated what she was doing. She had the shiny cowgirl hat on. My BF had to finally get another girl's attention to get me a tea.
