We were passing through town and decided to stop at Crystal Palace Saloon for dinner. We were looking forward to the experience and arrived hungry and excited. Overall, the food was just okay. Across the board, it lacked seasoning. I ordered the pork ribs--the BBQ sauce helped--but the mashed potatoes and corn were quite bland and needed salt and flavor. My husband had the country fried steak, which was cooked well but also could have benefited from better seasoning. It was a bit disappointing. On a positive note, the atmosphere was fantastic. The bar area is very well done and exactly what you'd hope for in a historic saloon. We especially enjoyed going upstairs to take in the view from the second floor and exploring the decor--there's a lot to see, including old paintings and vintage roulette wheels. It's also pet-friendly, which is a nice touch. The staff, including the waitresses and bartender, were dressed in saloon-style attire, which added to the overall experience. If we were to visit again, we would likely stop in for drinks at the bar and choose a different spot for dinner. Prices were reasonable for the experience.

Stopped here for a quick bite and a drink. Everything tasted great, the chicken as well as all the ingredients on my Caesar salad were very fresh. The Bloody Mary was great it had the perfect amount of spice. One of the more quiet restaurants in Tombstone, if you're looking to get away from the crowds for a moment. The bathrooms were pretty clean. Would recommend!

The food was great and the atmosphere was enjoyable. We had the country fried steak and an open face chili cheese burger.

Thank you Damian for hooking up a vegan girl! Chef Justin made me a veggie pizza, no cheese on a spinach tortilla. It was a perfect thin Crispy crust topped with mushrooms, bell pepper, onion and jalepenos.

Family took a trip down to tombstone over the weekend and ended up here for lunch. The restaurant was spacious and had a good historic western vibe. Server along with other employees all seem very nice and friendly. Food was ok. Food ordered: 1. Wings Basket: It was fried perfectly, but wings are bland so you're relying on the sauce to make it taste good. 2. The Duke: Burger patty with roast beef on it. Pretty tasty, lots of flavor but messy. 3. The Cowboy: good flavor and if you add jalapeño, it kicks it up a bit 4. Fish and chips: this is my favorite. Love how the batter is not too much. If you love fish and chips, you have to try it here! 5. Chicken tenders: This was not too bad. Good option for kids.

They are dog friendly. The main floor looks like a great old saloon. A huge bar and back bar. There is also seating upstairs both inside and outside. We chose to sit outside overlooking the street. The stagecoach tour passed right by us. The food and drinks were great. My Sombrero Burger was very tasty. My wife enjoyed her Nacho Fries. I loved the Huckleberry Margarita. Our server, Chris, was friendly and efficient and very knowledgeable about Tombstone. He took excellent care of us.

This is a historic place and definitely one any native Arizonan must check off their bucket list. Drank a beer at the circa 1800's Crystal Palace in Tombstone. Same place as Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday. Now you're someone! The burgers and fries are standard bar fare and make the mark for nostalgia. The prickly pear margarita serves the southwest flair and is tasty to boot! the antique cherrywood bar is definitely a centerpiece so take a few minutes to ponder the stories the bar itself could tell you about all the action it's seen.

Yay stopped in for a drink. The big wooden mirrored bar is stunning. This Saloon has a lot of history - been around since 1879. Apparently, Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday used to come here. My husband had a draft IPA; I'm doing Dry January, so got a bottle of Sioux City Sassoarilla which was actually really good; made with real cane syrup. They often have live music on Saturday night. But not tonight, so will check out Big nose Kate's.

Neat old bar with decent food. Service was great. Very attentive. House salad and wings for me. All tasty. No blue cheese tho. Chicken fried steak and fries for hubby. Good. Nachos for 11yo. $20 seemed spendy to me for nachos. Great (some local) beer on tap and fantastic 1800's bar back with costumed servers. We went during down season but it was enjoyable.

Cool place with a bit of history and a stunning bar. The drinks were strong, the food was decent and the service was friendly.. Ribs were fall off the bone, onion rings crispy, open face roast beef was good and the gravy tasty. No complaints from a hungry tourist in a tourist town. They had the Monday Night Football game on which was a bonus

If you want to experience eating at a western saloon and don't mind the wait, this place has the ambiance and feel of it from the decor, paintings and the bar is something to experience. Established in 1879 it's worth checking out. They mainly serve American food and the place is very family friendly to include pets. Granted, the wait took 30 minutes only because it was during lunch hour and is to be expected. We enjoyed ourselves nonetheless so it was worth the wait. I suggest to check the weather beforehand because it was windy the day we went, so it was dusty from the unpaved part road of Main Street.

Arizona 01-2024 Tony and I went into the Crystal Palace Saloon & Bar mainly to check out the bar. I am big into architecture and decore. This place was awesome! Tony and I first sat at Bar & ordered a few drinks. Then we moved over to the table and ordered Chicken Tender & French Fries. The food was very good. There was no live music or shows which would have been e tremendously nice, I would love to go back. Highly recommend and the food was good!

Between the live music and the old historic vibe, I think it's one of the coolest experiences in town! The history behind the place is also really interesting. It's the second-oldest restaurant in Arizona and opened in 1880. The building used to be the Grand Hotel before it burned down in 1882 & was rebuilt, and there's a lot of history connected to it. The food isn't luxury dining, but I've never been disappointed with a burger or sandwich with some onion rings (really tasty btw). My girlfriend also loves the Macho Nachos. Overall it's just a fun spot with good prices, good service, and a Wild West-sized load of character

Freshly arrived from checking-in to our nearby hotel and thirsty from the 8-hour drive, our party decided to grab cocktails and a bite to eat somewhere along Allen Street. We quickly realized that most shops and businesses close around 5 o'clock (which was approaching), so choosing the Longhorn, with its extended hours and large menu, was a no-brainer. We started with a couple of Bloody Marys and a blooming onion appetizer. The Marys weren't particularly spicy but were well-made and traditionally garnished. For an extra charge ($5.00, I believe) you could even purchase a souvenir glass. The blooming onion was also prepared well - not greasy - and came with a tasty dipping sauce I also used on other foodstuffs later. For dinner, my wife and I split the Dunkin' Burger (with french fries) while our friends ordered the New York Steak, baked potato, and a salad. I, personally, didn't think the dipping au jus did anything for our burger since the Angus patty was flavorful and the Texas Toast was soft and crunchy, so I opted to spread some of the onion's heretofore mentioned dipping sauce on it, instead. No complaints from our friends on their steak, which was still sizzling upon presentation and came with a large dollop of garlic butter. Do note, the Longhorn charges a plate-splitting fee, but we were informed of this in advance. We waddled out stuffed and satisfied. The following morning, we found that most businesses didn't open until 10 o'clock; so, being early risers, back it was to the Longhorn for breakfast! I was really blown away by the Country Fried Angus Steak and Eggs I ordered. Hefty, thick yet tender, and topped with a rich country gravy, the steak took up the entire plate (leaving room for the eggs only on top of it all). My wife's simple order of French Toast and bacon paled in comparison, though it was equally to her liking. It was a great way to start our long-anticipated day of exploring Tombstone's shops and attractions. The restaurant's decor beckons diners to explore Tombstone's history through the period photographs, artwork, and artifacts that adorn the walls in the two main dining areas. The backlit stained-glass murals are beautiful, casting a golden glow throughout the interior, and the furnishings perfectly reinforce the town's western motif. Another praiseworthy facet of the Longhorn Restaurant is the staff. Our two servers, Melissa for dinner and Shelby for breakfast the following morning, were so sweet. Melissa, learning we had just arrived into town, offered to snap several seated photos of us, and Shelby gave us a variety of suggestions for points of interest, attractions, and events that would be taking place the day we were there. Our sincere appreciation is extended to both these friendly, hardworking ladies! In all, we really enjoyed both our visits to the Longhorn Restaurant. Prices were actually cheaper than what we anticipated in a town relying largely on tourist dollars, the food and service were on point, and the overall vibe fell right in line with what a lover of western history would expect. Thanks to all; we hope to visit you again next trip!

I say okay! My bad I looked at yelp and when I clicked on their "website" option it took me to Facebook. She very rudely told me she didn't write the website. Okay? Awkward. She said they only had bar food and pizza. I asked what kind of bar food, and as soon as she said chicken wings I interjected and said okay great how many! And what flavors. She is super rude on the phone, and without prompt tells me she's super busy and doesn't have "all day" to read me the entire menu. I'm like, "I'm sorry I get that there's just no visible menu to order from" and she starts berating me that she doesn't write the website. She's so incredibly rude, at this point I'm literally holding the phone with my mouth open. I ask her what her name is and she HANGS UP THE PHONE ON ME. I call back and ask to talk to the owner because that sh** was OUTRAGEOUS and she denies hanging up and suddenly insists she didn't hang up the phone. I get it's a small town but no amount of ignorance or lack of socialization calls for that level of rudeness. I had the meatloaf dinner and my husband had Copper(something) pasta dish. Both were lukewarm at best. The flavors were still good but it wasn't a hot dish by any means, and the meatloaf was a bit saltier than I remember. For the pasta dish, the warm bread was hotter than the pasta dish itself. We didn't send it back because I noticed the server was handling dishes returned to the kitchen at the next table, and our dishes weren't cold or anything, they were just warm. I still maintain they absolutely deserve four stars because I suspect the kitchen might have been having an off night and the food was very good (just the meatloaf was a tad salty). We really enjoyed the mushroom appetizer and the beer selection is excellent.
