The large gaps left at the bottom was allowing my neighbors dog to get out, until we fixed it. The exposed old posts and nails are unsafe for my child and dogs. I called the company about these issues and claimed a 5" gap was "standard practice". They said they would fix the exposed old posts and nails, but here we sit 3 weeks later and nothing has been done. I would recommend looking elsewhere. Not only does this seem like a fast and lazy job, but with the posts at 10' plus apart, the fence really moves and feels cheap.

The folks who did the work suggested foam backer rod to fill and then a self-leveling sealant. I am 75+ and I don't have these things on hand nor can I operate a caulking gun. Marty called back within an hour and after discussing my issue gave me a reasonable and doable fix, which was to fill the gap with silica or builder's sand and I can use my house broom to level out, etc. He is coming next Spring to look at the drive to see what we might do with that!
