Once to get copies of some keys and the second time, to get my high heels repaired. I actually waited a while before bringing my shoes in because they are pricey Salvatore Ferragamo pumps. But having seen him work on other people's shoes and seeing all the equipment he had indicated to me that he was an experienced cobbler. And I am glad I came to him. I had heel tips that needed replacing. Ferragamo actually included extra ones when I bought my shoes so I brought them with me. The price? $7. I'll be back.

I've never had this happen before. Even with our other handyman, plumbers, etc. - if you can't do the work, you don't get paid for NOT doing the work. We were told that this would cover gas expenses - why take a job that is out of your network? They knew our address well before coming out. Also, some of our intake conversations were over text, so I wish we discussed the job over photos so they knew what we wanted to do in terms of the job and give us a proper quote. Just felt very scammy and weird after them asking for money without starting the job.

Showed up as promised on time for a problem with our rolling gate dead bolt lock and added a really good plate to it to make it work securely. Seems like the ground moves here and sometimes the lock just does not fit properly. Then a month or so later we had another issue with it again and they came right out same day!!!! They adjusted it slightly and there was no charge for the visit and service. They considered it follow up service on previous work. That is totally amazing and made my day since I was sick with a cold and so glad to have this issue resolved. We need our gate to lock and be working to be and feel safer and to keep our dogs safely inside. Also gave my boyfriend some advice about possibly using a welder in the future if needed. I have say when we first moved here and this happened we used another lock service and the owner was okay and added a plate, but it was not a sturdy plate and when we had another problem months later he removed the plate and did not leave it with us and charged us. Then we needed that plate and he had taken it. Also his partner when we called late one night between 11 pm and midnight, was furious we had called so late even though they claimed to be available 24 hours! Doctor Locksmith is a breath of fresh air and we will continue to use them and recommend them to our friends. I cannot say enough good things about a company that keeps their word, offers fair prices and is working to build repeat customers and business. read more

Locksmith was very nice, came promptly and fixed the lock quickly. He drove about 30 minutes, and picked the lock in about five minutes at 8pm on a Thursday. For all this I was charged $457 (see screenshot). Locksmith also showed other purchases to show this is a common price charged. The previous 2 times this was done for me by Freedom Locksmith, the box had shrink wrap on in, but the 2 guys had already broken the seal on the shrink wrap, despite me having asked the second time for this to NOT be done. When searching for a new locksmith, I accidentally put in a quote that sent the information out to 7-8 different locksmiths and Next Door Locksmith was one of them. I went with him because he knew exactly what I needed without me having to repeat myself via email message several times. I again asked for the box to come completely unopened. Next Door Locksmith agreed. He came with the box, but it did not have any shrink wrap this time, which I found a little odd and questioned him, but it was more imperative for me to have a new lock put on. This installation was about $75 more than the previous 2 times with the other locksmith (Freedom Locksmith). When having the receipt emailed to me instead of sent via text; the transaction receipt was from Freedom Locksmith. When I sent another message questioning the Nissin G. about this, his response was that he is the same person and that he never worked with me before. Which he did the first time. The second time he sent a different guy and this time it seems as though he's just creating additional business names on Yelp for an unknown reason. Either way, the cost of this service was a lot more expensive than the 2 prior times for the same service from the same company. I'm giving 3 stars only because of the cost and my concern of this being the same company I used prior, but them using a different name.
