5 star experience from day 1! I just bought a townhouse and I needed some critical work done for exposed live wires from the main electrical point into my house. There was a hiccup with having to dig a hole in the dirt 5 feet deep to replace a metal riser. They had to have SRP come out and turn the power off, and when SRP came out they could not find the breaker. Dodge Electric worked with me for over 2 weeks to find the breaker, and change out my metal riser and make my home safe. They explained everything to me the whole way through and I was never upsold or uncomfortable. The work was done professionally and everyone I spoke to treated my concerns quickly and knowledgeably. I couldn't be happier about choosing Dodge Electric for a built in grill project. I contacted four electricians. Two missed their appointments and didn't call to reschedule and one made his appointment but took two weeks sending me a quote for exactly what I thought I wanted. Sensing this company and their quote to be a bit sketchy, I called Dodge Electric. They came out to the project, asked me some questions, poked around a little and explained that I didn't want what I had asked them to do; there was a better way and I'd be much happier with the results. Dodge electric came highly recommended from a few valley Tesla owners and now i see why. I had gotten a few quotes from other companies to install a 240v 50amp in my garage for my Tesla. Dodge electric beat most companies by a few hundred. My garage is detached in my backyard and my breaker panel is in the front of the house. Most companies were wanting me to hire a landscaper to come trench my yard, however Dodge was creative and was able to save me money by running the conduit near my fence that i share with my neighbor. We recently moved to Gilbert and found Dodge Electric on yelp and asked them first to come out for an estimate on several jobs and then we asked them to hang four chandeliers, two with pre-existing light fixtures and two were going to be brand new. They did an awesome job but just as important, while doing the job they asked for input to make sure the new chandeliers were lined up exactly where we wanted them and that the height of the other chandeliers are also what we wanted them to be. To be fair, I had a 5 star experience and a 1 star experience. I think their niche is ideal for most clients. They seem to prefer high volume inexpensive jobs that can be scheduled and performed quickly. If you need a ceiling fan installed or an outlet installed, this is the company to go with. However, when I needed a bigger more complex job, they didn't seem at all interested in accommodating me. They would not allow me to pick a date and time for this job...even months in advance. They also charged me a trip charge when they told me on the phone they wouldn't. I was surprised by how I was treated. I had used them at my personal residence and my company. There wasn't any sense of appreciation or loyalty for previous work. Therefore, if you are a company or require a complex job that requires a lot of personal service and thought, I would not recommend this company based on my opinion and experience. If you are seeking to establish a relationship with personal service, I would not recommend them either. If you are someone who needs something to be done quickly and ethically, I would recommend them. For me, I own a company that requires routine electrical work. I realize you get what you pay for. If you want First Class then you have to pay for it. This is no different. read more

Excellent work by Tyler and Chaz installing new LED light fixtures. I very much appreciate their help troubleshooting why the ZWave light switch I purchased was not working with one new fixture. They explained that ZWave light switches typically require a Minimum load of 20 watts but my new LED light fixture consumes only 15 watts. I was able to replace the ZWave light switch with a different product (Zooz Z21 ver3.0) which now recognizes the 15 watt LED light fixture and everything works perfectly! Chris and Tyler just walked out the door and I wanted to be sure to leave a great review while the experience was fresh in my mind. I called and requested service about 2 weeks ago to install a ceiling fan and mount and install a TV on our back patio. We made an appointment for "first thing" this morning. I also called a couple of days ago and asked whether we could also install a ceiling light fixture on the patio and take a look at our kitchen can lights which seemed dimmer than they used to be. Jordan was very helpful and said it was no problem to have the team do those two additional items as well. Chris and Tyler showed up promptly at 7:30 AM. Chris took one look at the can lights and suggested that we switch them out for LED downlights. They volunteered to go to Home Depot and purchase the parts then include that as a materials charge on our bill. They had the TV mounted, ceiling fan and ceiling light fixture installed within 2 hours and were off to Home Depot. They returned promptly, replaced the can lights with LEDs, and were done within a total of three hours. I haven't received the bill yet, but based on the hourly rate I was quoted I know this will be a great value service. Chris and Tyler were friendly, professional, quick and thorough. These guys have a great process for taking care of your electrical needs. After you contact them they come out and take pictures and give you a time table to receive an estimate. Once you get the estimate and confirm that you want the work done their scheduling folks contact you and set everything up. Their technicians come out and do the work, then a couple weeks later they invoice you. You can even pay online via PayPal. There were a couple hiccups in the process, but the team was always quick to let me know if any part of the process was going to take extra time. The quality of their work was excellent. Requested work to be done to add an outlet and switches for a patio celling fan and someone to look at the motion flood lights. To help save on the cost, I was going to install the fan myself. They came by and surveyed the work to be done for an estimate. I already had 2 other contractors come out and they lowest quote was $500 minimum. Talked to my electrician brother and he said that is too much. He was right. It took them a couple of days for the estimate but they definitely were the lowest. The outlet for the fan was going to cost $200 dollars, including switches, and that also included installing the fan at no extra cost!!! The quote for the flood light was there normal hourly labor cost and they also gave me a quote to add a switch for the flood light. So here is why they got 5 stars. On the morning of the install, I got notification that they would be unable to come out that day cause the worker called in sick. Of course, I was not happy as I took the day off so they could get it done. A couple of hours go by and I get a call from them stating that another team got a job done early and could come out to do the install. They completed the work in a couple of hours. The work was clean and also found out the issue with the motion floods lights. Very impressed with how everything came out. Will be doing my future work on anything electrical in the house. read more

TLDR: Price was the best, quality was great, professional interactions, timely communication, and fairly timely service (granted this wasn't an urgent project). --- Everything from initial contact was professional. I made the request for service over New Years weekend. I heard back from Jordan, in charges of estimates, within 2 days (January 2nd). They came out 3 days later, took about 5-10 minutes to gauge the job. They don't give estimates onsite, but email them out. This part was actually a bit delayed, but I wasn't in a rush (they came out January 5th, but estimate only came on January 10th). They gave a very genuine attempt to accommodate my schedule for service, but admitted it would be difficult to schedule something for the afternoon. I told them I could free up time in the morning, and they scheduled it for 3 days later (January 16th, morning). The electricians showed up pretty early (around 7:30AM) which was great and got started right away. It seemed like they paired a very experienced gentleman with someone newer, which I think is a wonderful way to ensure customer satisfaction and teach at the same time. It took them about 2 hours to finish the job, and they were thorough in finishing it properly and cleaning up after. No drywall needed to be damaged for it (running a new line to the breaker), and they answered all of our questions. The gentlemen were nothing but professional and courteous. About 2 days after the job was completed, I was emailed the invoice with an option to pay online via PayPal, and I was mailed a copy a couple days later.
