I hired Dodge to install recessed lighting in my sewing studio room, which is essentially the living room of our floor plan that only had one central fan/light box. As I was using the fan/light box only for a chandelier, they were able to use the extra switched line to install my six new LED recessed lights. The two technicians took great care in covering my sewing machines, fabric, and computer station. The install was quick and they cleaned up after themselves. Very disappointed with this company. I had requested a quote for a Tesla Wall Connector for my Tesla vehicle and was quoted with NM-B cable. I expressed interest in using THHN cable (more durable insulation with higher temperature rating), and Jordan was great with answering my questions. However, after asking questions, Mike contacted me via email to let me know he was no longer interested in performing the work. I had never talked to Mike before, and just wanted guidance on the material to use, but refused to explain. October was a perfect installation time as discussed with Jordan, but was ignored. I was expected just to accept whatever they wanted to install, and that was it - no questions allowed. I expect that when I hire an electrician to be explained the type of material and if I want to use a more durable material that my request to be honored. For reference, many other electricians agreed THHN was the proper cable to use for this project, just required more labor and was happy to install. Please change your business practices to be more accommodating to folks who have simple questions. read more

I called Dodge Electric to add some fan ceiling boxes and connect them to switches, move a light ceiling box, check a light ceiling box for stability, change some groupings in my panel, and provide some thoughts on a possible power hum at my residence. Jordan quickly scheduled me, and Zion and CJ showed up a few days later to carry out the electrical work. Zion and CJ confirmed my requests and answered all my questions. They were professional and helpful. They also worked quickly, did great work, and even provided me some longer screws in lieu of a more expensive/time-consuming option for a less-than-flush existing light ceiling box. (Afterward, I added all the LED lights and fans myself.) I feel that Zion and CJ, and Dodge Electric in general, provided a great value. I would recommend their services to anyone. read more

UPDATE/EDIT: Owner apologized and sent out tech to check it out and it was a tripped breaker (the one they previously installed) that would not reset, they unplugged everything and plugged it back in and it reset and worked. Glad they came out but unfortunately it wasn't until after the below review was posted, if the breaker holds I will again amend this post and I appreciate that they took action immediately after the post. My oven quit working, an appliance tech came out said oven working properly. Must be a breaker problem. Called DODGE ELECTRIC MY BAD. Called Dodge spoke to Jordan they sent out another tech and said our bad breaker is bad and would install a new breaker and not charge for labor. I've gone back and forth on writing this review. I have been having some electrical problems. Breakers flipping, pool pump turning off, just seems electric overloaded so I called. The man I talked to on the phone was super nice and said someone could come check it out. They showed up on time but the man that showed up was just rude. He came in with a clip board and seemed upset to have to go get his tool belt out of his truck. He wasn't sure what he was here to look at so I explained what I told the man on the phone. He looked at my electric box and said all good. He went and looked at my pool pump and said it was wired wrong that both pumps shouldn't be on a timer. I said they are not and he said yes they are so I went out and showed him the second timer was for the salt cell. We flipped it on and the second pump didn't turn on. He said it's fine. We looked at the kitchen where sometimes two appliances turned on will flip the breaker. He put a tool in the outlet and said these are on one breaker and these are on another. Just don't use the same breaker when using the appliances he said. Umm okay let me stick something into the outlets because I'm sure I won't remember which are on the same breakers. Said it's fine and he left. I just felt like he was talking down to me the entire time. He didn't seem like he wanted to be here looking at things. I have the same issues now as I did before he came out. Maybe everything is fine and maybe it's not. I would think things shouldn't just turn off but what do I know. **Following up after the owners remarks- To the owner- yes I could have followed up directly with you. I'm sorry you have had many complaints about the service tech that came to my house. I'm sorry you still send him out to peoples houses to experience the same lack of service, even after multiple complaints. He was rude, talked down to me and treated me like a woman that didn't know anything. I am a woman that knows a lot but I know nothing about electric power which is why he was here. I was not billed anything. The tech did nothing though. But.. I would have paid and when I offered to pay he said no charge. My response to him was are you sure and he said yes. I assumed it was because he didn't do anything. Never did I say I was over charged or complain about the cost. Hi Mike, Plenty of other reviews include technician names and you did not seem to have any problems with that. I did not intend to attack anyone or the company, and simply intended to share my personal experience with Dodge Electric, which unfortunately not a good one. In my opinion, internal communication issues within the company should not be customers' problems, and I have noticed few other reviews with similar issue. I did leave out few other miscommunications that occurs (other than my examples), because I did not want my review to be longer than it already is. I understand if the amount of miscommunications made it difficult for the technicians to complete the job properly. Ed did showed me the work order that he received and it was simply few pieces of paper with little information. It is unfortunate, however, that Dodge Electric did not spend much time to try solving the miscommunications, and instead chose to left and told me to find another company. Having technicians left on the job was also the first for me, having lived in AZ for 18 years and being a licensed AZ real estate agent for 7 years. In my last phone call with Jordan, he did apologize to me for not being on top of his game, due to dealing personal health issues and surgeries. I understand and accept that. We recently remodeled our kitchen and hired a different electrician for that work. Then our oven stopped working and I noticed a giant bubble on the plastic junction box cover. When I opened the junction box, it was clear something had been on fire. Wire nuts were melted and the inside was charred. That company offered to come look and fix it but never showed to. I called Dodge because they have great reviews. They came out the next day and gave me some options. We decided to just replace the whole electrical circuit and run a new line for the oven. They told us they're scheduling that work a few weeks out. I asked them if there was any way to expedite since we had no way to cook food. They were able to get the estimator out the next day and hold a time for the install for the following Monday! The actual install is was a little rocky as there was some miscommunication between us but they stood behind their work and made it right and didn't ask me to pay until it was made right. Everyone I encountered was so professional and friendly. There's no way I'll use any other electrician in the future! read more

For your information, the incident was captured on our home camera system and is time stamped from the time your electrician arrived and left. Your response to people's experiences and reviews of your company is very repetitive. You claim that customers comments are untruthful and incorrect. On a random Thursday power went out all of a sudden in a few spots in my home. I work from home so this was no good for me. I hired Dodge Electric to change 2 lights/chandeliers in my living room and they (Chris) did a fantastic job. I called the office to check if I was going to be charged for the time it took the tech to bring the correct sized ladder. ( I had called saying my ceiling was more than 15ft and I didnt know it was around 20 ft) and Jordan said that I was going to charged but after discussing with him and receiving an email from Mike (VP), we came to a great compromise. I give credit to Jordan for his constant communication and escalation, and credit to Mike for reaching out to work with me. Another great experience today with Dodge Electric. Ed and Zion stopped by to convert a switch powered outdoor light fixture to a standard receptacle for an outdoor TV. They made the conversion look simple and effortless. They tied the power source into an interior outlet without the need to cut into any drywall. In one day, they replaced and installed four fans, a flush mount light, a vanity light, the chandelier, the TV, and checked several other electrical issues. All I needed was one outdoor outlet installed. This seems like a pretty straight forward request for any electrician. Here are my issues with the service I received: 1) The guy who came out was downright rude and condescending. He made me feel like I was wasting his time and as if I was asking dumb questions. I noticed this was mentioned in at least one other review also so I'm sure the company knows exactly who this employee is, but has done nothing to correct it. 2) It's been three business days and I still don't have a quote for this very basic install. I only received an email a day later telling me to expect a quote within 5 days. I already hired someone else who came out and finished the work in the same day, and this company hasn't even gotten a quote to me yet... Edit: company responded that everything I wrote was incorrect... yet I've still never even received a quote to this day. With the great work Dodge Electric provided the last time we contracted them, we decided to hire them to address some annoying electrical issues we had with some fans and some unreliable electrical outlets. Chris and Clayton was the team that came out. They arrived on time and came into the home with masks which is important during these Covid times. I explained the problems and they solved each one of them telling me the reason why there was an issue. One of the issues turns out to be something that i suspected for a while which was poorly installed outlets by the electrical contractors used by my home builder. With an invoice specifically noting that issue, I am in the process of getting reimbursed for that part of the job. Great work as always!!! read more

Everything went as planned and I am very happy with the work that Jim and his team performed. The only charge that seemed a little high to me was the cost to remove a concrete slab ($2640.00) over the j-box and where the new conduit was going. That put them at the higher side on the estimates I got. But again, I would hire them again based on the quality of work that was done on the property.
