I Cantel why they named this diner doe does because I was just in there and had a confrontation with I guess you see owner at the cash register because the egg say ordered sunny side up or hard as a rock I took two bites and I stopped eating them I told the waitress please take the eggs off of my bill. The total with the register got into a confrontation with me about how much eggs cost and all this other stuff and I was disrespecting her because I said OK I don't give a crap here's the money. She proceeded to try and still confront me about their restaurant and their policies and I said listen here some money and she threw it back at me and said please get out of my diner I don't ever want to see you again. If you are a fan of the classic BLT sandwich, bypass Does diner. They have at $8 , the most expensive ( 2x) BLT in town. It isnt twice as good. Their menu is such that sometimes they give you a cup of fruit, sometimes they dont. If you ask, they get all upset and act as if you are a big problem. I just got me eight dollar BLT, and its not on toast ! So if the cooks see someone who is confused by the menu and "causing trouble" they will just make a sandwich so bad that you wont ever come back....They got their wish....I am never going back. This is a no frills kind of place. Once you enter, you seat yourself wherever you want to sit. We chose a booth in the back. The service is very quick and the waitresses are pleasant. I had the 2 egg breakfast with hash browns, bacon and sour dough toast. My breakfast was very good... it's a little hard to mess up such a simple breakfast. My boyfriend had the omelet and it was really big. He said it was super delicious and really enjoyed it. We will defiantly be back. It was a quick, delicious spot. If you're single, 65+ and enjoy average diner food this is your place! There isn't anything really special about Doe Doe's. This is your typical local diner where everyone knows everyone and the vibes are friendly, but if you're a foodie this isn't your place. I opted for the blueberry pancakes with a side of bacon which was good, but not enough to make me wanna go back. My boyfriend ordered the country fried steak breakfast which he also wasn't impressed by, mostly because of the canned gravy on the steak. Our server Wendy was sweet and attentive to our needs, and all the other servers seemed nice as well, it just isn't a place we will be visiting again. read more

Tasty country breakfast cooking and some darn good french toast! The biscuits gravy is good too. I was told to come here from a VA worker in Palm Harbor as I had to come to VA Bay Pines for a chest x-ray. He said it was great. He was right! Very clean, friendly servers who made you feel like you were a regular and great prices set this diner way up there on the scale! I had a half order of biscuits and gravy (tasty), 2 over easy, crisp bacon (4 strips) and home fries (very nice) with coffee for around $6. Every bit of that breakfast was made perfect to my liking. The servers would always come around to make sure the coffee was hot and filling the cup! There are morning specials at around $3.50 and a great lunch menu that would probably satisfy anyone. I got there at around 7:40am on a Friday morning and there was a lot of room. By 8:30, it was starting to fill up. I highly recommend that if you are in the area, stop at Doe Doe's. read more
