It's been over nine years since I last visited Dog & Duck Park West, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much better the experience was this time around. We sat outside on the patio with our dog -- always nice to find a spot that's truly pet-friendly. I ordered the mahi-mahi tacos and a Korean steak taco, and both were very good -- fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. If I had one small note, it would be that both could use just a touch more seasoning, but overall they hit the spot. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service friendly, and it's great to see this local favorite continue to improve. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been in a while! read more

Started getting takeout from here during Covid and really liked it. Service is good. Great atmosphere. Food is delicious. Great pub. We visited the Belle Hall location Try the D2 lager that is their house brew. Only $4.50/ pint. A serious deal these days. Prompt service. As soon as you walk into the restaurant you can already tell it's going to be good the vibe is so perfect and the loud cheers of sports fans add to that factor. The only bad thing I have to mention was the waiting time it took about 1h and 30 to get our food but it was delicious and the employees were so nice definitely coming back here. read more

Stopped in here to grab a quick bite while in the area after a day long event nearby. We just needed something good and fast and the menu here sounded good. Walking in it was more of a bar environment than I expected but I was quickly surprised how fresh and delicious the food actually was. I had fish and chips and you can tell they use fresh fish cooked to order and the fries were cooked perfectly. The cook knows what they're doing! My husband had the French dip and really liked it on Texas toast, a unique twist. Our server was so friendly and really quick to accommodate any requests. Also, the bathrooms were very clean. Came here late on a Sunday afternoon. We were just passing through town (staying overnight in a nearby hotel) and was jonesin' for a burger. Yelp led us here. Yelp misled us. Service? Not bad, but not great. Food? Not great. The sandwiches made with Boar's Head meat were good and the people in our party who ordered them were happy. The others in our group, however, were less than thrilled. The burger was thin and flavorless. The fried fish was ice cold in the center yet almost burnt on the outside. Seems impossible, but that's how it was served. The fries were cold. The German JoJos were unimpressive (very small serving for the price, lacked adequate toppings). I have been to this Dog and Duck many times and always order top shelf drinks. Tonight I got a unsatisfactory cocktail and when I asked for it to be made right I was blown off. Good-sized bar area with TVs, and the atmosphere is inviting and casual. Typical bar menu offerings (apps, sandwiches, fried foods, etc.) with the patty melt exceeding my expectations. Meaty, cheesy, gooey, and hot. The fries were crispy and hot as well, and the portion sizes were "healthy", so I left full and happy. Service was friendly and attentive. The not-so-good: It's a Patriots bar (kidding). But really, the only "major" knock I can give it is that the prices are a bit higher than I would've expected. We were done with Lowe's and I checked yelp for restaurants. Dog and duck were across the street. We were there for lunch on Sunday. It was pretty busy. Morning customers help us get seats at the bar. I noticed it seemed to be a friendly local establishment where people were familiar with each other. Bartender was very friendly. The customer sitting to my left, apparently the menu and suggested the fish and chips. I enjoyed my lunch and clean my plate. My wife got the taco wrap and enjoyed it very much. The establishment looks like a nice place to go to sports bar with the televisions. I'm sure we'll go again. read more

Yay dog and duck! A local pub with great food options in Park West. Located next to a liquor store and Publix you can enjoy a few drinks and a meal with your local neighbors. The drinks are fantastic and the food options have always been good after eating here now four times since moving to the area. Our group of seven arrived at five on the night before Thanksgiving. It was not too busy then, so had time to enjoy the decorations, signs, and whatnot. This bar/restaurant feels sporty and exciting, yet also family oriented. I loved that! Service was friendly and drinks came out fast. Our server handled our group with grace (we had three kids with us!) when taking drink and food orders. All staff approached us with smiles and were very friendly! Five stars for them. Drinks wise, Nikita and I ordered the "Tideland". Its chocolatey-peanut butter flavor was just wonderful. I am not a huge beer fan and I genuinely enjoyed this one! Try it if you stop in. Five stars for this awesome drink. Food wise, I was not too excited? My "Fenway Frank" was cold when it came out, despite having waited for for over an hour. I couldn't really taste the spicy mustard. It fed me, but as I said it was cold and nothing I couldn't have made at home for half the price! Nikita got the "Don Knotts" (off the 'Dogs' section of the menu) and enjoyed it, though. Grandma was praising her onion rings and dog! I would definitely return to Dog and Duck (I keep mistyping the word 'duck'..) because it really does have a lovely atmosphere and the drinks were delicious. Always great food, service, and atmosphere at the Belle Hall Dog and Duck. But last night they went above and beyond for our group of 18. The manager and staff immediately accommodated us by shuffling some tables and chairs around so we could sit together. But a huge thank you goes to Kaeylin Wrenn, our server for the night. They carry a good rotation of crafts on drafts and feature a full bar. The food is mainly bar food such as hamburgers, hotdogs, etc and is usually pretty good for a quick bite when you are just having drinks or watching the Bulldogs beat the Gamecocks on their televisions; Dn'D is a good place to watch your favorite sports on television. The staff here is always super friendly and engaging; making your visit more enjoyable. Dn'D also host live music, music trivia, trivia, and other fun bar games throughout the week. And during the warmer months you might be able to catch, even enter a good old hardcore corn hole game. read more

We hada party of 12 and they were able to accommodate us outback. We were the only people out there and they did a masterful job. Everyone's food seemed to be pretty good. I had the fish and chips and it was not as good as Codfather(but who's is) but it was pretty darn tasty and plentiful. The service was pretty good although it took an uncomfortably long time for 3 of us to get our food. Most of the folks were almost finished when my mom, her brother's, and my food showed up. I know it was a crazy busy day and understandable. If the same had happened on a slower day the rating would drop substantially but overall a good experience and I will be back. The point of yelp is to inform so here it goes the fees, tax and tip, I left just shy of 20% around 18% ish to round out my tab was over 66% of what my food order was. We had drinks but still the fees, tax and tip at your discretion I get it will outweigh one meal and a be a portion of the other meal. I would rather just tip more and be a customer more than have the made up fees. Was I not supposed to tip at all? It was stated as fee total and tax total. read more
