Pretty solid bar food with a nice patio facing Clement Ferry to catch the breeze. I ordered wings and fish and chips with a local IPA for lunch recently. Our server was friendly and pleasantly chatty. The wings were fine--plump and crispy with teriyaki sauce (I had ordered half with lemon pepper but no big deal). Fish and chips were good but not great. Breading on the fish was a little too dense for my taste and definitely needed lots of vinegar to dress it up. Prices were reasonable and portions good. I've been to other locations off Long Point and Park West and this one is consistent with those. An overall on par, but not particularly exciting experience. (3.5 stars). read more

We were excited to check this place out for college game day. We wanted to cheer on the Gamecocks, but were mostly interested in the Michigan and Ohio State game--easily the biggest game of the day. U of M was on 4 or 5 TVs, with USC on one. The sound was from the one tv, showcasing the in state rivalry. Most patrons seemed to be interested in U of M, but after asking twice to change the broadcast, we left and others did too. At best, this is a restaurant with some TVs. It's not a sports bar. We had absolutely delicious tacos and grouper bites and a most wonderful frozen peachy lucious frozen cocktails that were so refreshing on a hot day. This is not to far from where I live so I tend to go there more for convenience than the food. With that said, the food is the typical barfare you find in local watering holes. It is not anything special but it is consistent so if you find something you like you can be sure it will be just as good each time you return. The crowd seems to be mostly locals but everyone is friendly. The servers are friendly but move at their own pace whether the restaurant is busy or slow, so don't go there if you are looking to dine and dash. I know a lot of people swear by the D&D, but it is not a "don't miss" if you are in this part of Charleston. read more

This location recently opened up and replaced Tailgators. It's a great location for those who work on CFR and don't have too many options that close by. The indoor space is small but cozy but can see it getting crowded quickly during peak hours. The outside also looks like a cool place to hang out and eat when it's not blazing hot and humid. The No Legs To Stand On veggie burger was tasty and had a good consistency as expected from a burger made from vegetables. The fries were ok with a couple stragglers that probably could have spend another minute or two in the fryer and a tad bit more seasoning. The brioche bun was good and very soft. I went with a big group of about 14 people for lunch and while I can understand how a big group during lunchtime and be hectic, the service was slow and one of the guys in our party who arrived early got his food after some who had arrived later. They may have missed his order but it was slow enough that they did give him some chips and queso to eat while he waited. It is to be expected with a new business opening up and my expectations may just have been high due to the other Dog and Duck locations I've been to. I still recommend anyone in the area to check them out and I'm looking forward to going back and seeing them grow as time goes on! read more

We ordered dinner, and were also served in a timely fashion. For taco Tuesday, I tried two tacos with chips. I had the cheeseburger taco and the Shrimp taco. The Cheeseburger taco has just the right combination of everything to taste like a really delicious cheeseburger. I liked the shrimp taco too though it had a little too much cream cheese for me.
