would not recommend I dropped of my dog there for a couple of day and I haves paid for grooming. when I went to go pick up my dog and my dog smelled awful he also wasn't even groomed. I did not know they could mess up so badly so I simply requested a refund and the manager was just so nasty to me about it. later on I noticed that my dog was missing a couple of teeth. so I called and asked what could of happened. and they tried to tell me that "maybe they just fell out". if you care about your dog don't bring them here!. read more

Today was my 5 month old puppies 1st day of daycare as well as the first time we have been apart for a full day since I rescued her. When I called for information I was told it's a full day, no 1/2 days. I felt like that's an awful lot for a puppy's first time in daycare but reluctantly I brought her this morning. I was greeted by two lovely ladies who never introduced themselves to me or asked who I was. Granted, my puppy was the reason I was there.... I was handed a 1/2 sheet of paper with a phone number on it and was told to text at "any time" for updates. I was informed photos would be included in the updates. I text at 8:54am asking if she settled ok and a response came shortly afterwards. 2 1/2 hours later I asked for a few pictures so I could see her "in action." 1 hour and 20 mins later I was told they would send pics and she was "settled & making friends." 3 1/2 hours after my initial request I received 3 pictures. Upon picking my puppy up, I expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of communication and received a scripted statement about if they spend all their time texting they can't watch the dogs, to which I replied YOUR business handed me a sheet of paper this morning encouraging me to text for updates. The daycare and workers may be quite lovely but the lack of communication, introductions and follow through won't work for me. read more

I hate having to board my dog when I'm away. It makes me so nervous. But DBATB took such great care of my "baby" while I was gone, they blew me away! They got to know her and put her in a play group that was perfect for her personality and temperament. They sent me a report every day of her day with many many pics/videos! I loved that! Had an all day event and needed a place for my 2 yr old lab because I try not to leave her home more than 4-5 hours. The usual babysitter had plans so I messaged Dog Boarding at the Beach on Facebook. *Response time to my message was within 5 minutes of opening for the day *They were able to immediately review my online registration and confirm space *All staff were friendly, professional, and acted as a team. They all interacted with my dog and had patience with me and were reassuring, taking time to answer my questions since it was my first time boarding any animal *They take both spayed and "unaltered" dogs and group them into appropriate playgroups based on size and temperament *I called to check on how she was doing before I knew I would be out of cell service area and they dispersed any concerns I had *She felt safe and adjusted quickly to the environment. There was barking when I pulled up to drop her off and thats to be expected from more talkative dogs. The location is down a couple of roads and well shaded and away from busy roads. *She was wore out when we got home and found her spot on the couch to recoup from all the fun she had. It's really healthy for both you and your dog for them to have opportunities to socialize in a supervised setting while giving yourself a break. I consider the prices to be more than reasonable and you are able to tip the amazing staff for taking care of your furbaby. We will be returning and Im really curious to see how excited she gets the next time we pull in knowing she is going to have another fun adventure! read more

This place blew me away. I've taken my dog to the petsmart hotel a couple dozen times and they never let him have play time because he's a Pitbull mix. Not only did he play all day, he had the time of his life for four nights! The staff is all so friendly and really shows how much they love dogs in the daily report cards. $40 is a fair price for the stellar service. I recommend them for all boarding needs. read more

Anyone ever use Dog Boarding at the Beach (https://www.dogboardingatthebeach.com/)? I just want to caution folks about these people, especially the owner. We had our dogs there (very friendly and well mannered dogs btw) for quite a while, everyone there seemed to be friendly and accomodating at first. Then they began losing employees, and I mean many employees and this seemed like a red flag but still we stayed. Finally at some point there was hardly even a skeleton crew working there and they began changing everything to include what the money you paid for memberships went to, and when the owner decided to cancel days because they couldn't keep employees therefore didn't have enough to work, they refused to refund your money; the money we paid in, instead they said we could use it for treats or extra attention for our dogs or a bath (we do not give our dogs treats and the last time they gave our dogs a bath they did a shoddy job) and refused to put it towards future days or just refund our money. In addition, it was always difficult to get hold of the owner, in fact, and get this...multiple times I or my wife pulled up in our vehicles the owner who we could see through the window literally ran off and hid from us. Is that not cowardly? We were model clients. One of our dogs started coming home with injuries to his face just below his eye, we questioned the staff and they said although they didn't see it happen that it must have been our other dog. Well we knew better that our dogs have never hurt each other ever. We asked them to investigate and look at the footage in their kennel areas where they apparently put them for a break every day. They claimed they watched it and when we asked for a report they refused and stated "yeah, we don't do that". Initially upon our asking about the injuries they all came off surprised and asked to see the injury...you COULD NOT MISS A SOLVER DOLLAR SIZED OPEN WOUND BELOW A BLUE EYE ON A COMPLETEY WHITE SHEEPDOG! They all played d@mb and lied outright about knowing anything or ever seeing the injury. These are our family, and they treated them like stock. We never took that dog back again. They wouldn't allow us to tour the kennel area either. So I called and left message for the owner literally stating I insisted on a call back by Friday so we can discuss the money we would like refunded to us. The owner never responded to my calls nor emails. Be cautious about taking your dogs there, they do not understand business, how to treat their employees nor their customers. Can't get people to work there and claimed my insistence on getting a refund by Friday was a threat and refused outright to communicate any longer. Be very aware whom you trust your dogs with, do your due diligence. read more

I just love everything about this place! The staff are so incredible and take the most excellent care of every dog that comes through their doors. At the end of every day, I've received a report card for my fur-baby with pictures and a breakdown of how her day went. What a great place to take your fur baby for a day of play. We have a very active Weimaraner, when we have boarded him at home they always hesitate on taking him, here they love our Zeus and always want him there. What a great feeling. He loves the staff and they love him. I don't worry when he is with them, I know he is being loved and having a good time. Best of all, he get home and wants to sleep for half the day. Pink Nose Cooper has been coming here for the last week. We have been so happy with everything about the facility as well as the amazing staff and and new owners. The facility is clean, well organized. We have tried other doggie daycare/boarding facility's but I love bringing my dog here and highly recommend this business. They offer amazing doggie daycare packages which allows me to bring my dog seven days a week if I want...Needless to say Pink Nose Cooper wants to go everyday (and so far he has) if you are looking please come by and meet the owner Holly) and take a tour and hopefully you can be one of my Pink Nose Cooper's new friends or one of the many other doggies that come to play. They have helped Pink Nose Cooper so much with his socializing since he was adopted.
