Dog Dayz crushed it! Communication, ease of process and care of our pup was all top notch. Received a call quickly after inquiring about a stay. Walked thru services and process to select what was right for our dog during her stay. Shortly after choosing stay, received a clear/concise note w documents needed to confirm our pup's stay. Upon arrival our dog was hesitant - but greeted by 2 smiling faces who helped her to her space. The daily updates/picture were timely and looked forward to by family. Knowing and seeing she had found a couple buddies and was enjoying her stay was evident with the daily pics/notes. We arrived a day early to pick her up in great condition. No response from DogDayz. Bella- I usually board Bella at Beverly's Precious Pet Campus - Fishers, Indiana. I chose DogDayz this time because I didn't want to pay an extra day for a late pickup. I had an issue with Bella's treatment when I first boarded her at DogDayz. Her paws were a mess and she could barely walk. The owner apologized profusely and credited my account. He said he hired new staff who forgot to check her paws. I gave DogDayz another chance and Bella's stay was fine. After that I heard great things about Beverly's and decided to board Bella there for a week. The staff are so friendly and are always excited to see Bella! Wonderful customer service! Because I was already having an expensive weekend..I boarded Bella at DogDaze. Big mistake that I won't ever make again! Firstly, I did not receive a friendly greeting. She grabbed Bella's leash and took her away. If you know me and know what I do for a living.. customer service is HUGE with me!! After the lady came back I told her to please pay attention to her paws and even sent a reminder via email. They sent me pictures and said that Bella is doing great! I went to pick her up and again they said that she did great. Once out the door she didn't want to put her paws on the concrete. I had to wrap her paws so she could go outside to potty. After reading a few reviews on Yelp I was a little nervous about leaving my 2 dogs there for the weekend. I saw a lot of unflattering reviews, but we gave it a shot. I was extremely pleased with my experience. The employees were super attentive and I could tell they really cared about my dogs when I dropped them off. One of my dogs is very anxious in new places, but the staff made him and me feel really secure about leaving him. Pick up was super easy and both my dogs were happy as could be. Had a client pick up their two dogs from this place after being there for a week. It's absolutely baffling the way they send dogs out the door covered in hardened urine and their legs and hind ends caked in feces, it was foul. I could smell it from the moment they walked through my door, the pet owner couldn't even take the dogs home prior to being bathed. I get it, dogs have accidents, but this wasn't from one accident and it goes to show what the inside of this facility looks and smells like. Every time I bring Lucy to Dog Dayz she gets kennel cough. After 5 separate times of this, I will not be bringing her back. I spoke with the owner and he blew me off. His response was maybe my dog has a week immune system. She has been to other places with no problems. I find that rude and unprofessional to say the least. The information the website was great, and the lady I spoke with on the phone to enquire and book my stay with DogDaiz put my mind at ease for my dogs first ever pet-vacation experience. I was told Harvey would be having his own room to sleep in, that I would get daily updates and photos of his stay, he would have one on one personal patting/play time, and that I could do a walk through on the same day I dropped him off for his 3 day holiday. A friend of mine was looking to book her dog in too, and I enquired about whether our dogs could have the same room to sleep in together and If this would in turn come at a discounted rate (as it's one less room for other doggy vacationers). I was told they could not do this, as each dog has their own sleeping quarters for health and safety reasons - of a night there would be limited staff to ensure dogs were safe if sharing a room. That was actually great news for me anyway, as my dog would have probably been more comfortable on his own of a night after a big day of playing. All of the above was a huge lie. Days before I dropped Harvey off for his holiday, I received and email which stated to not bring any of his personal belongings, and to not bring his own food as they have a specialised diet prepared by staff at the establishment. I called to enquire, with my main question being whether I would still be able to view the accommodation when I dropped Harvey off on the upcoming Thursday. I was assured this would be no problem. They couldn't answer me in regards to bringing his own food, and simply stated that they have no way if tracking which dog gets which food through they're stay. I arrived, and I bought Harveys food and bed with me, as well as my shirt so that he would have my scent of a night time if he felt lonely and missed his mum. I wasn't comfortable with him changing his diet for a 3 day stay, as most (if not all) dogs cannot just change their diets suddenly without a transition between the old and new food. I planned on insisting he use the food I provided when I dropped Harvey off. The staff asked for his food immediately. Thank God I bought it with me - despite the information they had previously given me. They told me not to leave his bed, as it would most likely be destroyed by the other dogs. I asked why, the bed would be in his own room of a night? How could other dogs access his room?? Here's why; DOGS DO NOT GET THEIR OWN ROOM. THEY ALWAYS SHARE WITH ANOTHER (RANDOM) SAME SIZED DOG. NO ONE HAS THE OPTION OF HAVING A PERSONAL ROOM FOR THEIR DOGS. ITS NOT EVEN SOMETHING YOU CAN PAY EXTRA FOR, THEY SIMPLY DO NOT OFFER THIS TO ANYONE. I was shocked, but figured I would have my mind put at ease when I walked through and inspected the areas he would be sleeping and playing in. NOPE. Walk through by appointment only, and only on certain days and times during the week. They were too short staffed to take me through, and hadn't 'prepared' his room for me to physically see it. What needs to be prepared? I assume it's just a small room or cage, it's not as if I was expecting to see a 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheeted bed made up for him to sleep in with his own mini bar. I just wanted to know he would be inside, out of the elements with a bed comfortable enough for my 9 year old dog with a history of back problems and a recent ACL surgery. If that wasn't bad enough, they wouldn't even accept his own harness or collar, don't ask me what they were using for his "daily" walks. Again, Harvey has back problems. He can't get the correct support he needs in a simple neck collar. So now I ask the staff how I should expect to receive his daily updates - is it through Facebook? SMS? An App? "WE DONT DO UPDATES, WE DONT HAVE TIME". At this point, I'm on the edge if tears with no option but to leave my dog at DoggyDaiz for his vacation - I was on my way to the airport and had made no other arrangements for a dog sitter. I picked up Harvey 3 days later, the staff couldn't tell me much, other than "he was fine". Harvey seemed happy enough, exhausted, but not upset or behaving abnormally. 3 days later, we are at his Vet getting a fast release pain releif steroid injection, cough syrup and a 2 week course of antibiotics for KENNAL COUGH. 9 years old, always up to date with his vaccinations, no history of kennel cough. Thank God I was onto his symptoms straight away and he is on his road to recovery after an awful week if sleepless nights and constant coughing and gagging. But I am absolutely appalled by the entire experience and kennel cough outcome of DoggyDaiz. The unavoidable surcharges of this establishment and veterinary fees I incurred is the smallest problem of many i faced with this place. It's the deception, unprofessionalism and misleading information that has really stung me and Harvey. I'll be letting everyone thinking of utilising DogDaiz to STEAR CLEAR. I am both appalled and disgusted. read more

Someone needs to absolutely shut this place down because this owner will squeeze 40 large dogs in one room and not even think about the individual care that they will get. Most kennels will put two employees for a 40 dog ratio, but this owner is such a tightwad he will do anything to save money EVEN at the expense of the dogs experience. The forwarned is forearmed..... I have been involved in dog rescue for 15 years and fortunately live near this boarding facility. The owners were involved in rescue work and try to help out as they can. A year ago they allowed Tails and Trails to have a free training session with a dog that was considered dog aggressive and human selective. With a little advice after having spent 6 years in a shelter environment, Magic Mike was adopted and happily is living with another dog. They also gave us a couple days of boarding free when we had no fosters and were getting 5 adult dogs from Ky and 6 puppies. All would have been euthanized. Caring people read more

I can't recommend this place because my dog was injured here. Up until his last visit, everything had been going fine. Though the entire building smells very strongly of urine, my dog didn't seem to mind it there. He came home pretty tired once and once with diarrhea, but my dog is maybe a little sensitive, so I thought nothing of it. But now his back is injured and he's miserable and I'm sad about it, and I've lost PTO, money and some sanity caring for him. My vet questioned what happened at the kennel so I told her about all of my experiences and what I saw at my initial walk through visit. In the playroom there were maybe 5-10 big dogs and one employee with what my vet told me is called a rabies pole. She said that was definitely not alright. Of course I had no idea what was normal. In the lobby, the folks always treated me and my dog well, and it was genuine. So I can't believe that anyone intentionally hurt him. Maybe another dog hurt him or maybe he even hurt himself. Regardless, this injury has made me unwilling to bring him back. It's pretty sad really. read more

DO NOT take your dog here. The front staff is rude (except for the groomer and Jeremy), owner included. Reservations get lost. Expect your pet to return smelling of cigarettes from the employees smoking while taking your dog out. If your dog chokes out while excited on the lead, they want a ridiculous clearance from the vet at your expense. Today was the final straw when I witnessed an employee strike my dog twice on the head. HIGHLY DO NOT recommend!! UPDATE: Shared my concerns with DogDayz and got BLOCKED from their site. At first we were at little wary but they have taken care of our GSD and sent up updates and pics regularly. My dog has been resistant to day care and boarding from a bad previous experience but this one was absolutely amazing. He played well with dogs he had a great time! And the staff even answered questions I had about his day! To top it off they had an amazing groomer for the groom and play package that did great on Sosas Cocker cut. NEVER AGAIN !!!! This place has lost all of its home, enjoyed, comfortable feeling. Starting at the top with Bryan (owner); the customer service skills have gone out the window. Besides three different threats; he lacks 100%of being able to communicate without emotions. A person who cannot control themselves should definitely not take care of any dog. Don't ever be late or the front office staff will also have terrible body language and communication. (Things happen in life.. I.e. Traffic, work, etc.) Makes you think if they have a bad day or are not able to control their emotions. Is this going to be good for your furry friend? At first yes (ty shells, only bright light there)..... Now not a chance in hell. I used to really like this place and take my dogs there whenever I went out of town. The place seems nice, I like the amenities, and enjoyed checking out the web cams. So what changed my mind? The prices and fees have gone up to a point I'm just not willing to pay. The last few times I went the check in was slow (even though there weren't many customers) and they staff wasn't very nice. The tipping point was my last check in experience. First the a staff member stepped on my dog's paws (causing a major yelp) and then acted like she was annoyed with my dog instead of feeling bad about it. Then check in staff let one of my dogs escape from behind the desk. The only thing she did to assist us was notify us that the (2 sets of) entrance doors are easily opened by dogs. read more

Not sure why this place got such bad reviews?? When I told the lady I found this on Yelp and she paused for a minute saying really? (She told me most of these reviews were from upset ex employees) . Truthfully, I didn't have any other options because everyone was full for thanksgiving but we had a family emergency and had to get him boarded. But I am so glad we boarded him there! It's a little pricey (37ish a day) but maybe that's normal for boarding but they have him premium food and let the dogs play all day with each other and the staff!!! I loved watching this on webcam and you can also see staff cleaning at end of day and they are pretty thorough. Our bulldog Loved it! The place was very quiet and clean and you can tell the staff care about animals, which is very important to me. I highly recommend, especially since you can watch your fur baby on webcam. read more

I can't say enough positive things about Dog Dayz, the staff or the environment. The facility is large and clean with many play areas, nice sleeping quarters and a great schedule. The owner, Brian, was so kind to us while our daughter was in the hospital. He bent over backward to accommodate us and was extremely understanding and flexible. During such a difficult time, I had one last thing to worry about because I knew my dogs were being taken such good care of. In fact, I knew they were having much more fun there than they would be at home:) My dogs always come back happy and tired. I KNOW they love Dog Dayz because when we pull into the parking lot, they lose their minds with excitement! I would, and do, recommend Dog Dayz to every animal owner I meet in the area. We (dogs included) LOVE Dog Dayz!! The knowledgeable staff went above and beyond showing us around and this was days BEFORE our pups did the FREE first time day care! The Dog Dayz team does a great job of taking care of our golden doodle when aren't available to do it. Lexi gets excited when we turn on to the street where Dog Dayz is located. She can't wait to go in and play with all of the pups. She recently spent a week with the Dog Dayz team while we were on vacation. She needed some extra TLC because she had 3 tumors removed right before we went away. They were wonderful with Lexi and kept me updated on how she was doing. I love that everything is included in the fee. While some places may be cheaper initially, they then guilt you into additional services. They are great with the dogs, and I love the webcam! So great to be able to check in on your dogs and see what they are up to while you are away. We recently strarted training with them, and it is by far the best training program locally. I've been to PetSmart, First Friends and Doggone Connection, and Dog Dayz does the best combination of mixing positive reinforcement with humane discipline techniques.
