I wouldn't recommend dogdayze unfortunately. Staff are Really, Really lethargic & grumpy & frankly lazy. I was hesitant to bring my dog here, especially after reading a particularly horrifying review (see one left by CristinaChee on GoogleReviews 2mo ago! She was Totally Right- and the fact that nothing has changed is Very Alarming). The employees just don't seem to care (other than charging you ridiculous fees for simple tasks that they may or may not actually do, e.g., you will book/pay for a nature walk but they will be slow to (or never) post or send photos of actually doing it, really cranky/bad attitudes when you dare to ask too!). They are seriously THE most unhappy looking bunch of people to work at a doggydaycare, it's pretty shocking and pathetic. No one says hello or greets the dogs in a friendly way- and similar to what Cristina described if something goes wrong, NO ONE will contact you!!! They are surly and defiant (and again LAZY) and will lie to your face, zero apology whatsoever. The woman who claims to be the manager is terrible- not friendly at all, comes across as super grumpy, and is on a power trip, verrrry arrogant. I've asked her to contact me about an issue, no phonecall or email reply at all. As they say, crap flows from above- so once you meet her, you are no longer surprised that her workers are similar to her and really, really bad! I really hope there is someone above her/an owner who can actually effect real positive change/replace her and/or them. It's a shame because the daycare's activities sound good online (what attracted me initially) but they're ill equipped and don't do a good job implementing them- like for a costume day they have no props etc on hand (what dog daycare has no fun props/makes zero effort) and when painting while some dogs might have 3 pawprints on their final artwork, another might have half a print, because again the workers are lazy as all get out. Mind you you're paying like $30 dollars EACH for all of this, walks, lick plates, etc.- the LEAST these jokers could do is complete these BEYOND SIMPLISTIC tasks & take care of our beloved pets while doing so. They seem to think they can get away with the "I seem young so it's okay nowadays to be lazy and attitude-y" - umm, think again? We customers don't have to put up w/ it! And fortunately there are PLENTY of other pet daycares that actually care and don't gouge you price-wise. Try and give a darn and care and DO BETTER. (Please note: owner didn't address any of the issues that were brought up in this just defensive reply sigh, includes one I brought up inperson, fact of the matter is staff/manager did NOT have decency to even reach out to me about problems including damage to item my dog went to daycare with, I specifically asked for someone to ring me, no one did even after 2weeks, that's what I realized I had been hoodwinked- everything mentioned true. There is no point communicating to staff FYI, they again Do Not Respond, so bizarre, never experienced that before- totally unprofessional and not the way ones runs a business. And there are most definitely others w/ similar experiences to mine, again please reference earlier mentioned Google review(s), there is absolutely no defense whatsoever to what happened & clearly no changes have transpired since that horrible experience yikes, no apologies given either, just arrogance and lack of acknowledgement of clear problems, so obviously no fixes set up (if you have a camera at frontdesk, review the footage, the staff are NOT nice, NOT friendly, it is a fact- we humans and animals deserve better.)-take care. read more

Dog Dayze has been a great place for our Goldendoodle , Louie. The team that works at Dog Dayze always goes above and beyond -- they know our dog so well . He runs into the door when we come to drop him off and the staff always shows him tons of love and cuddles. They have been so accommodating when we need them and many times last minute due to work schedule or illness. We have used Dog Dayze for day care, grooming, and boarding . The groomer is very communicative and knows our dog well who has terrible allergies . The groomer is in tune with his needs. Daycare has an amazing staff who ensure the day has down time and enrichment - and boarding has always been amazing, The team at Dog Dayze shows our dog lots of care and is always loving, Give them a try read more

I am shocked by the words written in one of the most recent reviews! I have NOT found ONE word of that review to be true! The staff is AMAZING! They are ALWAYS excited to see my pups and my grand pups! They are very engaging and greet every dog by their name. Which I find so cute!!! One of my favorite things about Dog Dayze is the themed events such as "Jurassic Bark", "Bark Week" and just last week "Dolly Dayze"! Every aspect of the week centers around the theme.... from the very cool decorations, to treats, to craft projects AND a FREE professional photo of my babies at the end of the week. I can only imagine how much thought and preparation goes into these special events! The General Manager and ALL the staff make it FUN for everyone, dog and human alike! There are some add on enrichment activities BUT those are OPTIONAL. Every dog in daycare participates whether the parent adds on an activity or not! Daycare prices are reasonable, comparable and may even be less - I'm not sure because I am NOT shopping for a new day care! I have no concerns about how they are cared for when they're there. When I pick up my furry babies, they are ALWAYS happy and worn out from playing all day. I would HIGHLY recommend Dog Dayze to ANYONE! Very cool, new daycare/boarding facility for dogs. I went in there earlier to check them out. It was extremely clean and the owner that gave me the little tour was very nice and showed me their whole facility and how they did things. If you want your dogs taken care of properly bring them here because this was a top notch establishment! read more

Such an amazing facility! I appreciate their easy scheduling and billing through the app. Their team is welcoming and friendly and our dog LOVES going. They have great add ons like a pup cup or special treats to make your pet feel extra loved. We adore reading about our pups day through report cards. Love the indoor/outdoor space! I read some of the reviews of dog dayz daycamp and I thought I would try it. When I first entered the door I smelled an odor sooo strong of urine but like someone else that commented on it I couldn't stand the odor. I hope they really clean it. I know the odor because I use to have cats so I know what urine smells like. For now I will try to board my dog there cause I don't have time to look for another place. read more

We have been sending our cavachon to Dog Dayze in Bolingbrook for two years now. I couldn't be more pleased with this doggie daycare. The facility is clean in appearance and smell. The dogs are separated by size and personality, and I have always felt that our Lucy was safe. The very best part of Dog Dayze is the people. Managers, pack leaders--all are friendly and know each dog well. They pay close attention to the dogs and know when one isn't feeling well or having an "off" day. I really appreciate the time and effort spent caring for their charges. I know that Lucy enjoys going there, and that makes my life easier! read more

Princess has been coming to Dog Dayze since it opened in 2018 and absolutely loves it. She starts whining and jumping around in the back seat of the car as soon as I pull into the parking lot; she wants to get out and play. My dogs absolutely love going to Dog Dayze! I was a little scared to leave them somewhere they had never been to but they were so happy. The team takes pics of the dogs at play and it was so great to see my babies having fun playing in the pool or in the pack. My dogs mean the world to me and I know they get great care here. My dogs whimper when they know it's time to go to Dog Dayze. Staff know them by name and we love that Josh posts pictures throughout the day to show us how our babies are doing. Love that you can schedule online and drop off and pick up are quick and efficient. Dogs come home nice and tired. We have boarded here as well and had a great experience with that too. My dogs enjoy coming to this facility. I trust them when I go out of town and they keep me In the loop. But lately when I have come into the facility, I noticed a very strong ammonia smell that is almost eye burning. I never complained about a smell before here but it was almost unbearable. Please be careful of where are you send your dogs, puppies, cats. I brought my dog in one weekend for boarding , I brought my dog in healthy and happy. Mind you I have used this facility a few times. On this particular visit my dog stayed on a Friday and I picked her up on Sunday. When I went to go to pick up my dog I asked how she was and the front desk said she was delightful. We noticed once we brought her home Sunday evening she would not eat and she would not drink we watched her and thought maybe she was just tired from the visit. Much later in the evening she started throwing up and pooping blood which also resulted in diarrhea which continued. On Monday the next day It got worse, I called Dog Dayze and ask them if they were aware of any sick dogs that may have been around my dog, and without hesitation they mentioned they had a few and apologize to me and suggested that I take her to a vet. I had already scheduled an appointment with the veterinarian. After bringing her in they checked her, ran x-rays and found out she had a serious bacterial infection due to her visit at this facility she continue not to eat and drink for five days within those five days she was hospitalized and had to be on IV fluids. We traveled back-and-forth To the hospital for five days I reached out to the manager of the facility "Payton" Who also told me they were indeed sick dogs I informed her of what was going on as far as what the doctor said and the treatment that my dog required now mind you I was told that the manager Payton would give me a call and she never did I had to reach out to her. So in essence she did not care about what was going on with my dog. Messages were left for her to call me. I finally was able to reach her and told her what was going on with my dog, she was apologetic and said yes they had sick dogs. I sent her at her request the bills and The doctors findings. Payton mentioned that she would have to go to the owner and discuss the situation. I received an email not even a phone call to tell me that she would give me my boarding money back for my troubles $250 and if I decided to bring my dog back a free stay of boarding. My bills were in excess of $1300. In the email she mentioned the hospital mentioned it may have been due to stress I called the hospital and they mentioned that was not their conversation. They even instructed "Dog Dayze" of better cleaning practices that needed to be done at their facility to keep all dogs and cats Safe and from being sick. I still have not received a phone call from the manager or the owner of the facility about my dog. I will not be sending my dog to this facility and will be sending other write ups on this facility as well. Please be careful and cautious of where you send your precious pups. read more
