News to me because he's had baths at multiple Lucy's locations many times and regularly. They explained they were letting him air dry. Air dry a GSD? Now he smells like wet dog. When I picked him up at 12:50 no bandanna or cologne. Not the first time they missed that. Makes you wonder if all the services were performed when you pay $150. Manager attempted to interject but kept interrupting me. At that point, I was checked out. He stated he would inquire and call. No attempt to fix it right then. It's been two and a half hours and still no call. I'll drive a bit further to the 1604 location or look for another dog bather.

They offer full days and half days too. They have little pools for the dogs to walk in, trees everywhere and lots of shade for the Summer months. They have live cameras (accessible through the web site) in all areas to watch your kids throughout the day. They ensure all vaccinations are current so your dog will be safe and complete temperament tests before your dog interacts with the pack. My boy was recently adopted from the Animal Defense League and he was so scared. I am sure he never experienced Doggy daycare before. They were patient with him and loved on him as if he was their own. When he got really nervous they separated him and gave him some space. He is now a regular several times a week. They have great financial packages, offer tons of services and soon they will opening the area to wash your own doggies. They also offer free day care if you have a primary dog and foster another and they are dropped off together. How amazing is that!!!!!! Ten stars goes to Lucy's.

I have been a customer for years at Lucy's and have never had any issues with my dog boarding…read morethere. The last 2 times I have picked him up, he had lost a significant amount of weight. This most recent stay, my dog was completely emaciated after staying there for 10 days. I could see every rib and bone in his back and haunches. I am disgusted. There is no way that the staff could not notice how visibly skinny he had become. I should have been notified if he wasn't eating and they should have taken him to the vet next door. Instead, I received a report card saying that he cleaned his bowl every day. That is impossible. He eats the same amount at home and gets the same (if not more) amount of exercise. He was completely neglected by the staff and the amount of weight he lost staying there is criminal. The first 2 photos are how he looked before Lucy's at 70 lbs, the second 2 are after Lucy's. I will never take my dog there again. Ever.

THEY ALMOST KILLED OUR DOG!!! We left our Silky Terrier Coco with them for a week while we were on…read morevacation. During our vacation we called multiple times to check up on Coco. They told us every time that she was doing fine. When we returned to pick her up she had severe bloody diarrhea and was almost comatose from dehydration and she had lost 3 pounds in one week! She had to spend 2 weeks in the hospital on a IV and have a feeding tube for 4 weeks because she was to weak to eat. This cost us $6,600. But the worst part is her kidneys failed because she was neglected so long by them and now the vet says she only has 6-9 months to live...

Misty was beyond kind and patient with me when going over necessary vaccinations and procedures…read more Day of, my 3 month old golden as well as roughly 25 other dogs were left unattended long enough for my puppy to be humped with no staff to stop this from happening. After this happened, my puppy, in fear went to the corner and didn't move from that point on (30 or so minutes). I called the front desk immediately and asked for Misty, who was occupied - then I requested my baby be removed and put into a kennel until I got there. The staff member who answered said they would notify whoever was monitoring and NEVER removed my dog. 15 or so minutes later I called again and spoke with Misty who did remove my dog and put her in a kennel until I arrived. To add, there was only 1 kind staff member besides Misty, who helped me during drop off. One of the ladies glared at me in the am and the other one had a very poor attitude during checkout. She came back filthy, smelly, and whiny. Never again.

Kara and her staff are amazing and so friendly! Our dogs love being boarded there as well, and we have always felt comfortable leaving them there when we go out of town for a day or two, or even over a week. They also occasionally get groomed there when we are too lazy to do it ourselves. We can't imagine taking our dog anywhere else, and the pricing is really fair as well! They also offer a taxi service for pick up / drop off, which is great in a pinch!

Last stay, we were gone for 8 days, originally supposed to be 6 but life happens, so I called and asked for an extension, and it was no problem. Tell me who can pick up before 11am if they're out of town? They don't tell you this before you book. They have a sign at the front desk once it's too late to reserve somewhere else. Dropped off around 2pm and picked up around 2pm the next day for $68!!! I've been going for years and the staff is not friendly either. Never going back. Will be boarding down at Tails are Wagging from now on.
