Found this place by accident. We were looking for another place that was recommended by a local shop owner but couldn't find it and ended up here. Glad we did. We walked in around 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon. Place had about 6 families eating lunch and ordering. The only thing they told us was no breakfast. Which we weren't going to order any way. Large menu with lots of favorites and sandwiches. All reasonably priced. I got the Junior Belly Buster. Like a big boy type sandwich. Very good. And fries. My partner got the burger melt. Which she said was one of the best she ever had. It comes with cole slaw and fries. Cole slaw was homemade and really good. Our lunch was very good and not expensive at all. Less than $20 for both of us. Plenty of parking. Staff was very friendly. The server was alone and really running hard. But very attentive. All in all good experience. Good food! And fair prices. This place is a hidden gem. We keep ordering from the specials and have not been disappointed. They work hard to make sure each customer is taken care of (like everyone in 2022, they are hiring). The food is fresh, priced well, and homemade quality. 10/10 for any meal. read more

It's tough on these small town eateries these days. Hard to keep a cook on a regular schedule. This place has good breakfast when they are able to be open. Prices are fair. Lots of potential but I understand the new ownership may not be that motivated to keep it open on the regular. There is a drive through beer and wine attached so I assume that's enough revenue to keep the lights on. Also, there are two apartments above this place....unique building for sure. read more

The food is disgusting! I don't know what it is with these people in this town no one here can cook! unless you buy something from McDonald's or Burger King or Taco Bell it's always disgusting, undercooked, and tasteless! But they're so country here no one knows how quality food should look and taste!!! read more

Food is delicious. Real turkey, not lunch meat. Pancakes/waffles are very good. Only complaint is it's always a little chilly. I'd they built an alcove around their entrance is would help this. Decor is a little random. But food is great and that's why I'm there. read more

We, along with many friends frequent Dog Tracks restaurant. Today, however, was the last time we will go to Dog Tracks. Sat down prior to noon and the waitress was at our table at 12:03. I attempted to order breakfast and she said that breakfast stopped being served at noon. Okay, it's 3 minutes later? We asked her if there was any chance we could still get pancakes? Without skipping a beat she replied, "I said we stopped serving breakfast at noon, everything has been put away already." Then she proceeded to tell us to go to Dimitri's Restaurant across the street. WHAT??? Turning business away??? As a business owner, of one of my staff were to do this, it would be a problem. Well, we used to enjoy our weekend meals at Dog Tracks but as I sit here in Dimitri's writing this, we have found our new weekend spot. Customer service is a ting of the past I guess. Stopped here hoping for breakfast after bike ride - menu stayed breakfast til noon & it was 1130, but we were told they just stopped serving breakfast, lunch only. Oh well. Got the chicken bacon ranch wrap & fries - sandwich was great, fries mediocre at best. That being said service was excellent & will definitely come again! read more

I have been here many times but the quality of the extras seems be getting pretty pathetic in steps the last 3 years. The salads were decent. But lately we get only iceburg, half a cucumber slice MAYBE and two thin onion pieces. Really? Potatoes have black spots. Which I say if you see them don't feed them to me. Iced tea is now a mix. The daily veg is mostly average but they always seem to run out 2 hours before closing so you are stuck getting the pathetic salad or 2 starches. And speaking of closing, don't try to get in for a quick bite 30 minutes before they close, door will be locked. They must be betting on the bar next door because this is no longer anyplace I want to bring family. It was great while the partner was not cutting corners. RIP read more

Very friendly, but not very good. Coffee like dishwater, rubbery eggs benedict, the pie with pre-made crust and nasty goo.

Great small town diner. I have business in the area and stop by maybe once a month or maybe two. They don't know me from Adam but they are always happy and welcoming. Went to Dog Tracks for a change of pace. It is a small place with booth, table and counter seating. Clean and friendly. I had perch dinner ( 4 decent sized pieces cooked well) and she had 1/2 slab of ribs. Waitress was busy but greeted us and took our order in short time. Pleasant . Food served in about 15 minutes even with crowded house. Perch and ribs were delicious and well cooked. Lots of pies on menu (from MamaJo's) which is always good. Menu was slightly higher priced than expected but not a deal breaker. Worth a try for all. Nice job. read more
